BOB UNRUH — Shortly after a report appeared in The Federalist that Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, already has seen the FBI document, under subpoena, that purportedly documents a $5 million bribe to Joe Biden to make government decisions on behalf of a foreign interest, FBI chief Christopher Wray caved in, and agreed to let other members see it, too.... YOUTUBE — Keith and Kristyn Getty visited the Babylon Bee to talk about good music that builds up the Church, really good Irish jokes, and what it was like to see Satan at the Grammys. They react to worship leader headlines from the Babylon Bee and the time the Babylon Bee inspired them to write a song that rhymed with "substitutionary atonement." The Gettys surprised the Bee with a live concert of In Christ Alone!... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID — “I knew it was a good [debt] deal when I saw the lefties screaming.” With that foolish statement, former Director of the National Economic Council under Trump and current Fox Business host Larry Kudlow demonstrated his ignorance of how Marxists create “conflict” that benefits the expansion of government control over our lives.... PJ MEDIA — The House debt ceiling bill’s alleged savings are “worse than fake,” according to Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah). He and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) both condemned the just-passed debt ceiling deal; as Biggs said, it’s sending the U.S. “careening off a [fiscal] cliff.”... (more)

RICHARD HENRY CARLSON — This paper was initially delivered at the IAAO Conference on Assessment Administration in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 1, 2004. Taxation has existed in various forms since civilization began. In days of old, the source of wealth was land and its proceeds. Before the existence of a monetary system, taxes were paid by a percentage of crops raised. Through most of history, the tax assessor and the tax collector were the same person; therefore, “tax collector” is used interchangeably with “tax assessor” throughout the following paper... (more)

YOUTUBE — Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley discuss his new book, “Manhood,” and break down the importance and depth of the biblical ideals that have shaped society – and particularly the West – in a historically unprecedented manner. Josh Hawley is a constitutional lawyer, the U.S. Senator for Missouri, and the bestselling author of “The Tyranny of Big Tech.” His newest publication, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs,” is available now and seeks to defend the positive and necessary attributes of masculinity across leadership, governance, and the everyday structure of American life. Men of character are needed for a civilization to thrive, and today's America, the West, has openly sought to destroy the foundational and biblical principles that create them.... (more)

PJ MEDIA — The pre-print for this study, prior to the peer review process, came out late last year. It showed, in a nutshell, that more COVID-19 shots correlated to a greater risk of contracting COVID-19. But the COVIDians predictably, in eternal denial as is their nature, pounced on the fact that the initial paper was a pre-print. They dismissed it for not being peer-reviewed, which is often described as the “gold standard” stamp of approval by The Science™.... (more)

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON — Why do so many liberal climate-activist grandees fly on private jets? Or why do those who profited from Black Lives Matter have a propensity for estate living? Or why do the community-activist Obamas prefer to live in not one, but three mansions? The answer is that calls for radical equity, “power for the people,” and mandated equality are usually mostly sloganeering for those who enjoy power and the lucre it brings, and their wish is to augment both for themselves. The result is that the issue du jour of mandated equality often becomes secondary if not irrelevant. There is neither fear of inconstancy nor hypocrisy, given the central theme that governs a leftist party line is political utility—or the ends of power always more than justify the hypocritical means used to obtain it.... CLIFF KINCAID — So-called “pride” clothing for kids from a transgender designer who sells Satan-themed products? Where did all of this come from? Clearly, American corporations are transmission belts for satanism and communism. But the communists themselves exported Cultural Marxism to the United States. ROBERT SPENCER — It’s more obvious by the day that Leftists have a taste for authoritarianism, but Hanoi Jane Fonda makes it even more obvious than others do. Fresh from calling for the murder of pro-lifers, Jane has now blamed the mythical crisis of climate change on the Left’s all-purpose bogeymen, white males. And what does the star of Barbarella think ought to be done with these villains? Why, they must be imprisoned, of course. Then, while the world’s white guys are rattling their tin cups against the bars, women and “people of color” can pool their efforts and save the world. Just like in the movies.... (more)

BOB UNRUH — A self-described "truth teller," New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, has schooled First Lady Jill Biden, on social media, why her "applause line" during a recent speech, fell with a thud. JUST THE NEWS — Early in the debt ceiling crisis, the Biden administration tried to scare veterans into believing Republicans might cut their benefits, which did not happen. But the administration’s own treatment of the nation’s warriors suffers from glaring failures ranging from lax security to benefits delayed by unwarranted tests. The failures were laid bare in a series of reports and memos made public by the Department of Veterans Affairs's internal watchdog, the Office of Inspector General, shortly before Memorial Day and reviewed by Just the News.... BOB UNRUH — There are new details emerging about the conflict that developed when the Los Angeles Dodgers decided to honor the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" for their mockery of the Catholic faith, then disinvited them, then restored them to the list of candidates for awards. For instance, the team was told that if it failed to honor the often X-rated drag queens, students could die.... (more)

JUST THE NEWS — Ajudge in Maricopa County denied a motion to enact sanctions against former GOP Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and her legal team. An Arizona judge earlier this week dismissed Lake's challenge of her 2022 gubernatorial election loss against Democrat Katie Hobbs. Lawyers for Maricopa County, the largest county in Arizona, filed a sanctions request after the trial, stating that Lake claiming the 2022 gubernatorial election rigged was “heinous and profoundly harmful.” Judge Peter Thompson ruled Friday that Lake's failure to prove her claims through evidence doesn't mean it was "groundless" and "not made in good faith."... YOUTUBE — Millions of people worldwide have now seen "Jesus Revolution," the movie inspired by the late 1960s and early 70s Jesus Movement. It takes viewers back to the time when thousands of hippies put down their drugs, picked up their Bibles, and followed Jesus. It's also the story of two young people who met, fell in love, and became pioneers of the Jesus Movement. That couple, Greg and Cathe Laurie, who celebrate 50 years of marriage next year, never dreamed that part of their life would one day be featured on the big screen.... (more)

DAILY SIGNAL — President Joe Biden has yet to weigh in on the outrage over the Los Angeles Dodgers inviting an anti-Catholic group of queer and transgender “nuns” to its Pride Night events. The drag performers call themselves “The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” and describe their group as “a leading-edge order of queer and trans nuns.” Though the group claims that it is not anti-Catholic, the tagline on its website states: “Go forth and sin some more,” apparently mocking Jesus Christ’s words to a biblical woman caught in adultery....
