"No just god..."
By Dan Popp
President Obama's speech on August 20th regarding the beheading of American James Foley could be the ne plus ultra of Jabberwocky. Mr. Obama seems to have zero awareness of history, of religion, of the world around him, and of himself.
From the transcript provided by Federal News Service:
Let's be clear about ISIL. They have rampaged across cities and villages killing innocent, unarmed civilians in cowardly acts of violence. They abduct women and children and subject them to torture and rape and slavery.
Excuse, me – question please, Mr. President: killing "innocent, unarmed civilians" is wrong, in your book? What about the 57 million innocent Americans that have been legally executed under policies you endorse? Yes, I'm talking about abortion. Nut-job terrorists killed one innocent American. As heinous as that is, the blood of tens of millions of innocent Americans is on your hands. Is that why you called them the "JV" – junior varsity? – because they're not in your league when it comes to slaughtering "innocent, unarmed civilians?"
And a follow-up, sir, if I may: You mention slavery as if it's a bad thing. Has your staff informed you that forcing someone to work for the benefit of someone else is the definition of slavery? Are you familiar with the federal income tax, and the more than 70 so-called "welfare" programs carried on by your government, that do exactly that? Can you explain how slavery becomes good if we rebrand it as "spreadin' the wealth around?"
So ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just god would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day.
Leftist atheists love to pontificate about how others should practice their religions. "No faith teaches people to massacre innocents," Mr. President? What about Molech worshipers? What about the Aztecs? What about your faith?
Oh, you qualify your statement with, "No just god would stand for" this. Then you're declaring that your god, the god-of-a-woman's-right-to-kill-her-offspring, is an unjust god. I can read that back to you if you'd like to know what you said.
ISIL has no ideology of any value to human beings. Their ideology is bankrupt.
But this is even more manifestly true about your "ideology," Mr. President. Marxism has never increased the well-being of any group anywhere. Everywhere its cancer spreads we find misery, poverty and mass death. See "the 20th Century" for examples. Your ideology is "bankrupt," sir. Figuratively, literally and undeniably. You are the pot making stinging accusations against the kettle.
They may claim out of expediency that they are at war with the United States or the West, but the fact is they terrorize their neighbors and offer them nothing but an endless slavery to their empty vision and the collapse of any definition of civilized behavior.
Again, sir, "ditto." "An endless slavery to their empty vision and the collapse of any definition of civilized behavior" is an apt description of redistributionism. One foundation-stone of civilization is the protection of private property. But in order for you to loot the "haves" and distribute the booty to your supporters, private property must be made a fiction. You, sir, are the poster-boy for barbarism, slavery and an "empty vision." Hope and change, I believe you called it.
There has to be a clear rejection of this kind of nihilistic ideologies.
From the Merriam-Webster online dictionary:
The bankruptcy, hypocrisy and imbecility – not to mention the self-righteousness and sociopathy – of leftism could not be displayed any more clearly than when Barack Obama speaks. He thinks that violence against the innocent is unacceptable. Yet that's the basis for his entire governing program, his entire political life.
At last, the gibberish reaches a crescendo:
And we will do everything that we can to protect our people and the timeless values that we stand for.
Sorry, Mr. President, but there is no such thing as a "timeless value." Values are merely priorities; they're preferences. Principles, on the other hand, are timeless because they cannot change. In order to have principles, you must have a Source of absolute morality. Not the god of your imagination whose position on morality "evolves," not merely a just god, but The God. When you know the true God and believe His revelation, then you can have principles. When you have principles you can stand behind a podium and talk about justice and innocent lives and slavery and nihilism and civilized behavior – and it will mean something. Because then killing an innocent or bankrupting a government or enslaving workers will be bad not just for other guys far away; evil will be evil even if you're the one doing it.
Imagine that, Mr. President.
On the day that an innocent American was brutally murdered in the Middle East, four thousand innocent Americans were slaughtered in the abortuaries of America. This genocide has been taking place "every single day" since 1973. Which of these atrocities angers a just God more?

From the Merriam-Webster online dictionary:
-
nihilism
: the belief that traditional morals, ideas, beliefs, etc., have no worth or value
: the belief that a society's political and social institutions are so bad that they should be destroyed
