At the close of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, an observer asked Benjamin Franklin if America would be a monarchy or a republic. He replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

America now better resembles a dictatorship than a republic. In dictatorships, people have no choice but to obey; in republics, leaders have power only with the consent of the governed. Election 2022 is the moment of decision: Will we willingly consent to thugs, thieves, and tyrants, or will we just say no and elect a new group of people who will honor the oath of office and our Constitution? The “consent of the governed” spoken of in the Declaration of Independence tells us that WE control the outcome of both this election and our future. So then, will Election 2022 be the last election?

Rhetoric is the modus operandi during election cycles, so one must be particularly discerning to understand what candidates are really saying. Sadly, swayed by emotions, far too much of the public believes lies dressed-up in pretty promises to give us this or that for our pacification.

A little history: The originator of the “I wants” was Lucifer, who got himself kicked out of heaven for his covetousness. Then, Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden for their coveting. The ploys of the devil did not work on the Creator in either of these scenarios, but will work on weak, lazy, entitled, uninformed people who want what they want—the rest of society be damned. Our selfish desires may cause us to lose our nation. Lucifer (Satan) knows exactly which buttons to push to manipulate people.

Unfortunately, We the People have been lackadaisical in our responsibilities for keeping this republic. Voting is a big part of the task which is why the Marxist/communists work so hard to make it simple for everyone to vote—including those unqualified to vote. Therefore, they shame/silence anyone daring to question the validity of election results; continue to mail ballots to illegal aliens; or refuse to clean election records to prevent votes being cast by dead people or those living in other states. Put simply, they want to make it easy to cheat.

So, today while listening to Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog, I was reminded that the only way Democrats can win elections is by cheating. Again, as stated in my last article, voter fraud is being discovered nearly every day, with Hunter reporting court decisions from several states occurring late this week. He also reported that St. Louis, MO election officials are telling volunteers to disregard the new photo I.D. law because they “aren’t the police department.”

What is the solution for all the lies, manipulation, and cheating we know is happening during this election? Obviously, the first action we would think of is to get out and vote. Yes, today more than ever it is important to vote, but not if you are just going to mindlessly vote for the same party you have always voted for, whatever the reason. No, this election demands people be responsible. What if God is going to hold us accountable for even our voting decisions?

When Jesus told us to occupy until He returns (Luke 19:13), He didn’t mean for us to just occupy our comfortable chair while watching the boob tube. We are to take responsibility in preserving that with which God has blessed us, which includes holding accountable those we have helped elect. They work for us, and if they do not do the job they were hired for, we need to fire them—not give them raises and jobs for life! What on earth have we been thinking?!

So then, we still have several days to learn about the candidates. I have been listening to Mark Levin who has been interviewing candidates from around this country, and we have some incredible people running for Congress and governorships. Learn about them. Send them money. Most of them are America First candidates, some of whom the Republican Party either refuses to endorse or will not financially support. Some Republicans are supporting Democrats. This fact alone tells us there are scoundrels in both parties—particularly the leadership in the Republican Party.

Scores of us have been praying for years for God to raise up a new breed of candidates who fear Him and will honor both His Word and the Constitution, and there are several running in this election. It is time to kick out those who thumb their noses at God and their constituents, only seeking power and wealth through their positions. The longer our elected officials remain in office, the more power they obtain. Once endued with this power they are no longer civil servants, and mostly no longer even pretend to “represent” us. They also gain increasing power to the point it becomes difficult to remove them from office. How about Mitch McConnell or Nancy Pelosi? Or how about so many of the people who have been in office 30-50 years? America, wake up!

Lord Acton once opined, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.” How many of those in power would you say might be corrupt? How many might even be bad men? The Bible tells us we judge people by their “fruit.” (Matt. 7:16) It has also been said that liars lie, thieves steal, and cheaters cheat—this is their nature. How many of our elected officials have done all of these? This is “fruit.” Why are we still voting for them? Why?

Lastly, a warning: Put little credence in election polls or talk of a “red wave.” Surely, we all understand how poll numbers can be manipulated. Often polls are put together in hopes that conservatives will get discouraged, determine there is no hope for victory for our candidates, and thus no reason to make an effort to vote. It is part of the tactic of fear used by Marxists/communists, and it has repeatedly worked. We should not fall for this ploy.

And a “red wave” may or may not happen. Again, this can be a ploy by the fraudsters to make people think there are so many people voting that our single vote will not change anything. This too is wrong thinking. There will not be a red wave if enough people do not vote to overcome the cheating.

Today, we have Puppet Biden explaining that America will not know the results of the election for days. How does he know this? Does he know his party needs to first count the ballots before manufacturing the needed winning numbers? Remember Biden bragged about having the “most extensive voter fraud organization” in history. On this topic, I believe him. How about you?

In conclusion, Election 2022 is probably the most important in recent history and could very well be our last. Yes, this has been said about other elections, but right now, we are on the precipice of losing our nation. This may be our last chance to save this republic.

Consider that in many ways we are in the beginning stages of World War Three. This administration seems determined to go all the way into nuclear exchange with another well-armed superpower. Does Biden think Putin is just another “Corn Pop?”

While we cannot rid ourselves of Biden in this election, we can “tie his hands” by changing Congress to Republican. Yes, I know, there are several people we must hold our noses to vote for, but in this election, we have no alternatives. We must win back Congress. We need serious patriots voting other serious patriots into these positions.

Founding Father Samuel Adams once said, “If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” This is that time.
