No pain, no gain: At least Mike Pence isn’t in the copilot seat moving forward

It just struck me that maybe the pain of the Biden Harris Administration over the last four years may well have been worth it. As they say: “No pain, no gain.” And, what a horrible president Pence would have made. I feel blessed that he is no longer in the picture. Thank God. January 6 was all about the certification of the questionable election “results.” Pence failed at this. Granted, it is a much debated issue, but many a great, trustworthy legal mind agrees: the results were questionable at best and the process should have continued. There was legal precedent for this. Pence caved!

But the Democrats continue to vote down all “Voter ID” laws, fight to keep from removing illegally registered and unregistered people from voter rolls, and figure out ways for those not eligible to vote to slip through the cracks. And make the cracks to fall through on top of that. I hear it is now illegal to ask for ID in California at the polls. Yep, anything to create a safe and secure election.

In the wake of all of the seemingly mysterious election related activities of 2020, and, if the Left was so sure that the 2020 results were all so fair and correct, what was there to hide? Why not just approve the certification process. They claim it would not have altered the results. Had this been allowed to play out. If there truly was “nothing to see here,” we would have all moved on.

Isn’t that what we are told about pretty much every move against out liberty? If you have nothing to hide, then why complain about being monitored, investigated? Aren’t we followed, observed pretty much in every way. Meta data, security cameras, cellphone towers, web search histories. Threats on our First and Second Amendment rights? So why was the election and its aftermath so secret?

The whole January 6 episode seemed very convoluted to me. I have witnessed many a Trump event, Republican events, Tea Party events. Never has there been any disturbance other than left-wingers staring things up, harassing folks. Shooting Trump. Small stuff. Remember those accusations against Tea Party members regarding racial slurs back in April, 2010. Slurs against Black members of congress? On the Mall in DC. Not one incident on a single video or audio recording of the alleged event. But oh yeah, they all heard it.

But, you know those nasty Tea Party folks. The January 6 riot. A replay of the Summer of Love if you ask me. Not an insurrection. There is too much shrouded in secrecy with respect to the whole event too. The National Guard question, Pelosi’s way overdue video clip leaking out. All of the records being destroyed. Those in prison, uncharged, many with no trials even to now. The whole orchestrated showcase, scripted hearing. Out of sight, out of mind.

Hours and hours of video records kept out of the public eye. Except, of course, that misrepresented clip of Josh Hawley scampering in a hallway. The fact that folks on January 6 were welcomed in and ushered around as on a guided tour. And face it, the only real violence was perpetrated by a DEI Capital Police officer against a white, female, veteran whom he killed with a single shot. He received an award amidst teary-eyed recounting of his “trauma” that day. Michael Byrd (the officer) was in absolutely noway threatened by Ashli Babbitt.

The investigation and hearing was a farce as we all know and a blemish on our nation’s history. And Pence was right there, buckling under pressure caused by the “violent” demonstrators whom I would bet were there for nefarious motives. Not the conservative Trump supporters I have ever known. Perhaps FBI plants some argue. And that pipe-bomb at DNC headquarters? What was that all about? We deserve some disclosure. Anyway, it’s all history now. But Pence, what a blessing to be rid of him as we approach, hopefully, a second term for President Donald J. Trump.

So, yes, a blessing. JD Vance is so, so, so superior a selection than Pence. Sure, Pence acts like the chump “holier than thou” kids I knew in elementary school. Kids that always had a way of appearing to have their heads bowed in reverence, eyes to the ground in humble arrogance. Sanctified looking. You could almost hear the angels fluttering around them as they passed. But don’t look for them to risk life or limb in a pinch to save you. Not the guys I would have wanted to be in Vietnam with. But, in public, respectful to women to the point that he (Pence) would take a serrate elevator. A coward none-the-less. I am so glad we are not risking having him running for president when President Trump’s second term is over in four-years.

So, Mike, you are not voting for your party’s nominee? You claim you are a Bible believing man. Like Nebuchadnezzar, your royal power has been taken away from you. You are in exile. Believe me, along with the Bushes and Cheneys, there is no place for any of you in the conservative world. Like King Belshazzar, I believe you may have been weighed in the balance and found a bit short by those who only want election integrity. Proverbs 29:25 says “fear of man will prove to be a snare…” But if you still have doubt, Revelation 21:8 is pretty clear on being a coward and not standing for principles.

So, yes, the pain of the past four years may well have been worth the gain we stand to make having JD in the wings and not Pence.
