Compromise, collusion, corruption, and cowardice—Four Cs leading to America’s collapse

The United States of America is in huge peril at his moment with both internal and external problems, and our federal government is in shutdown, which is somewhat of a blessing because it does less harm in this state. However, the government at all levels is not the whole problem for our pending demise. All Americans must take some of the responsibility for our collapse because of the Four Cs—Compromise, collusion, corruption, and cowardice.

Enemies, both foreign and domestic, threaten us from within and without. Our debt is so out-of-control that it can never be paid off. As I began drafting this article the U.S. Debt Clock showed our U.S. National Debt is nearly $38 trillion. Despite this fact, governments at ALL levels continue to spend money like proverbial drunken sailors on shore leave. (No disrespect for sailors—I had a Grandfather, Dad, and Uncles who were in the Navy.) Even irresponsible governors in some states expect the federal government to bail them out! Worse yet, far too many of our dumbed-down citizens demand handouts from the government when there is no more money to spend. Where did Americans ever get the idea that the government is our “daddy” that is supposed to take care of us?

Of course, there are many other problems causing the further disintegration of America. If we are to believe mainstream/cable news pundits, America is close to a civil war. Perhaps they want such a war because they work overtime and in tandem with one another’s platforms to foment hatred and war. Have you ever listened to a CNN or MSNBC panel of “experts” discussing our problems? Tell me that their rhetoric does not make you angry! Seriously. There are skirmishes, regional battles, and wars throughout the world that America keeps getting dragged into. Or how about the illegal immigration problem that still cannot be fixed? The So-called Blue states run by socialist/communists are openly battling the Federal Government to disallow deportation of illegal aliens. If uninvited strangers come through our front doors, we have the right to keep them out. But then, I live in the Free state of Florida!

Additionally, there are many other social issues. According to the late Pastor John MacArthur, the LGBT movement infiltrated the Church (over 50 years ago), turning it into a “racist, feminist, homosexual battleground.” (By the way, I use only LGBT letters for this “movement” because I refuse to kowtow to their demands. These letters define the four main deviances from biblical standards, from which all other deviances are derived.) This group is intent on capturing the youth in our nation and is one of the biggest social concerns that will be discussed in an upcoming article.

And there are the so-called “mass shootings” happening all around our nation. Sick people murder other people. Period. The fact that some of the alleged shooters are part of the LGBT community is interesting, to say the least. Whether murderers are part of organized gangs, terrorists from other countries, homegrown LGBT sympathizers or part of that “family” of folks, or “plants” and “patsies” inserted to draw attention to certain groups, (or create “false flag events”), murder is still murder. Justice should be served for every life lost, but we see less and less true justice in America.

These are just a few of the bigger problems America faces. It is ROT from within and without. I submit that this rot is the result of our roots not being in the soil of biblical TRUTH. We have allowed this truth and our roots to be plucked up by outside forces, or through neglecting to feed and water ourselves. When plants rot, the roots get soft, mushy, and smelly. This describes the current state of our nation’s foundation.

America’s roots were Christian standards as plainly written in the Holy Bible. Our first colleges and universities were founded as seminaries. Our first governors and national leaders came from these institutions that are now Marxist/communist indoctrination centers—although they are still considered “prestigious”. We now have scores upon scores of business/industrial leaders, representatives, governors, lawyers, bankers, and various other people serving in high positions throughout our nation who are soft, mushy, and smelly like bunches of plants rotting away. Good fruit is not being produced, and the Bible tells us “The axe [of God’s judgment] is swinging toward the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Matt. 3:10 AMP)

Obviously, it is not just the educational system that has caused our demise because even at the root of that system lies the Four Cs: Compromise, collusion, corruption, and cowardice.

It is difficult to show which of these conditions is the most problematic. The Heritage Foundation estimates that about 90% of the population in America identified as Christian at our founding. However, there were anti-Christian groups who came here as well, such as secret societies, the Illuminati (also set up in 1776), and other globalist entities whose intent was to create the New World Order. More on our founding will be addressed in an upcoming article. But considering that Pew Research Center now estimates about 60 percent of the population identifies as Christian, I would say that compromise has the biggest negative influence and is therefore the main culprit in our future collapse as a nation. We were once grounded or planted in healthy biblical soil, had strong roots, good teachers who fed us TRUTH from God’s Word, and we fed ourselves as well from that Word, and therefore produced good fruit. And as we compromised our faith and belief, we “listened” to the wrong teachers/messages, believed our own thoughts, and produced less fruit because our root system became rotten and stinky.

Today, even though Pew shows 60 percent of Americans identify as Christians, a Gallup poll from 2022 was reported in Relevant magazine that only 20 percent of so-called Christians believe the Bible is the actual Word of God. If one does not believe in the Bible, how can one believe in the God of the Bible? I submit that the number of actual Christians in America is much smaller. In fact, a number of years ago I reported in one of my articles for Renew America that Dr. David Reagan claimed only 20 percent of Americans were truly Christians.

Sadly, many churches have so watered-down the Gospel of Jesus Christ that it indeed would be hard to believe what they are saying. What is the requisite result? Stinky, bad, rotten, mushy roots and fruit! The Bible explains, “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a rotten tree cannot produce good fruit. (Matt. 7:18 ISV) And as mentioned above, the “axe is swinging to the root” and “God’s judgment” towards our nation.

When we compromise God’s Word, or reject it outright, we are listening to Satan, just as Eve listened to him in the Garden of Eden. There two spiritual forces in the world we choose to follow—either God or Satan, good or evil. Further, we are taught by our parents and grandparents the difference between right and wrong which are pretty much universal throughout the world. For instance, the Ten Commandments say it is wrong to “murder” (Ex. 20), but we all know this instinctively. God’s Word says, “For [God does not overlook sin] and the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth and make it inoperative. For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God (Himself) has shown it to them.” (Rom. 1: 18-19 AMP)

We will discuss the rest of the Four Cs leading to the collapse of America – collusion, corruption, and cowardice – in the next article. For now, may we consider how each of us can correct any compromise in our own lives?

Whenever we let someone else affect our true beliefs and understanding for any reason other than learning we really were wrong, we compromise. Truth should NEVER be compromised. Christians have the truth in our bibles and should always start there to learn if we have been wrong. Furthermore, the Holy Bible has answers to just about any question about human behavior. One doesn’t have to be a Christian to learn these truths, but once truth is revealed, we generally want more truth, which leads us into relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God of the Universe!

Christian apologist G.K. Chesterton once said, “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything.” Dear friends, the world would be a better place even if the Bible were just another philosophical book on how to properly live and was required reading for every human. But I speak from experience and a deep “knowing” in my soul that the Word of God profoundly changes your life in every way. The Bible explains, “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12 AMP)

I pray that all of us who care about saving America begin to read and then stand on God’s Word. If any do not yet have a relationship with Jesus, the Bible tells us, “Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call on Him [for salvation] while He is near.” (Isa. 55:6 AMP) None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow. To anyone willing to hear….
