Above the law AND in your face!
By Madeline Crabb
To honor the 240th anniversary of America's independence from the tyrannical government in England, our current tyrannical government gave all American citizens a let-them-eat-cake, giant middle-finger message: We are above the law, and you can't do anything about it!
In yet another episode from the ongoing saga of the Clinton Crime Family, aka Above the Law Clintons, Hillary Clinton again escapes being held accountable for her actions in the current scandal of Emailgate. Yes, mainstream media would have us believe all the attention given to this subject is simply about missing emails. Misinformation.
Sadly, there are masses of dumbed-down, gullible citizens who think concern over this matter is much ado about nothing. Rush Limbaugh would call these folks mind-numbed robots, believing whatever MSM, or corrupt politicians tell them. Multitudes are too busy with Facebook, or video games to dig deeper for facts, or too lazy to educate themselves about our history, the Constitution, and the true role of government.
Reality check: Our government today is one of rulers and tyrants – on steroids. And in this past two weeks, our rulers have been more blatant and in-your-face than I have ever seen. They are no longer concealing their contempt for us, a fact that should sound a loud danger alarm.
While most people reading this article already know the facts regarding what happened this past couple of weeks, here's a recap.
The Department of Justice has been investigating Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for over a year. Essentially, the investigation is about Clinton's mishandling of government information/documents; recklessness with national security; and the disregarding of rules, regulations, and laws. (Her usual modus operandi)
Many sources, including Fox News, recently informed us that the Justice Department was getting closer to filing charges. Having done independent research, many Americans concluded there is simply too much evidence of questionable behavior on Clinton's part for her to escape being held accountable for this scandal. But then Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on an airport tarmac in Arizona...
The last week of June, this ex-president, who acts like he's still president, or worse – ruler of the world – had the audacity to meet with Lynch just before findings on his wife's case were to be announced. Their private "chance meeting" was made public by a brave local reporter. (I pray for his future safety.)
Now, such a meeting is so utterly and outrageously stupid, that even those in Rio Linda should be aghast. How could an ex-president and lawyer (although disbarred) and U.S. Attorney General defend it? Clinton just happened to learn Lynch was going to be at the same airport? He had to delay his plane to meet her, and then just to talk about his golf game (it was around 115 degrees in AZ that day) and grandchildren. Really?
Even judges in our local communities know enough to not meet with possible witnesses, co-conspirators, or subjects in cases they are adjudicating. It's called avoiding the appearance of impropriety. Justice is also supposedly investigating the Clinton Foundation, so the meeting should never have happened. But then, Clinton was probably there to make a deal for his wife. Since he previously appointed Lynch to the U.S. Attorney position for the Eastern district of New York, he apparently thought he had the right to approach her. Besides, he is Bill Clinton, and above the law.
Frankly, the meeting resembles something right out of the Godfather saga. (The Mafia could probably learn a trick or two from the Clinton Crime Family.) Did he remind Lynch who originally put her in power? And who could bring her down?
After a public outcry, Lynch quickly said the meeting was harmless, that she and Clinton are longtime friends. (Nothing to see here...) She also assured us she would abide by FBI recommendations.
Lynch should have recused herself from all aspects of this investigation. Meeting with Bill Clinton was a total conflict of interest, because of her position and their relationship. It is impossible for the public to believe her impartiality in any decision regarding the Clintons. In fact, if she were truly an honorable person, she would resign her position as attorney general. She has shown a total lack of judgment in this matter, and lacks credibility.
Of course, on July 1st, we learned that the FBI would be interrogating Hillary Clinton the next day. We trusted the FBI. Then on July 5th, the Director gave a detailed list of infractions and violations of law and government regulations by Mrs. Clinton. We were then told he advises against prosecution since there was no apparent intent.
Amazingly, after at least a year of investigation, FBI agents meet with Clinton for about 3 ½ hours, and then two days later she is exonerated. Mind you, Comey said he was not at the interrogation. Such a high value subject under investigation, but he isn't there! He also admitted the meeting was not taped in either audio or video form. There was no transcript of the meeting. Clinton was not sworn in. (If she wasn't sworn in, she couldn't lie under oath. Intentional?) Obviously, if there is no recording or transcript, nobody will ever know what was said. The powers that be will tell us what they want us to know.
Question: Just what happened on July 2nd during that meeting? And if it was a serious interrogation, how could conclusions be made so quickly? Again, Comey wasn't there. He had to discuss the matters with his five attending agents. They must have met on Sunday, because Monday was a holiday. But then, we discovered that Obama, courtesy of American taxpayers, was treating Mrs. Clinton to an Air Force One trip to North Carolina. On this campaign trip, Obama declared, "There has never been any man or woman more qualified for this office than Hillary Clinton." And Clinton assured Lynch she had a job in the third term of the Clinton & Clinton, or continuation of the Obama, presidency.
Since such trips don't happen "on the fly," but require much planning, then Clinton must have been exonerated long before Comey spoke to America on Tuesday. The decision was probably made on the tarmac in Arizona the week before – or even before that. Or could the whole thing simply be a ruse?
Director Comey himself gave us many facts: Clinton lied about classified emails; she deleted 30,000 emails; she installed and operated from not just one, but multiple illegal servers; she operated multiple unauthorized/illegal devices; she allowed unauthorized individuals without proper security clearances to have access to her emails and servers; she allowed her team of attorneys access to her emails for which they didn't have security clearances; she jeopardized national security for "convenience" (her word); and according to Comey, her actions most likely allowed access for hostile foreign governments and hackers.
The FBI Director says Clinton was "extremely careless," but because he doesn't believe she acted intentionally, he could not recommend prosecution. She didn't demonstrate intent?! Yep, those illegal servers and devices all magically appeared and began transmitting government emails on their own. The 30,000 deleted emails just mysteriously disappeared. Her instructions to underlings to erase classifications so emails could be sent over her illegal devices was just a "my bad" moment. Absolutely incredulous!
Comey did warn we common folk to basically not try this at home, because we would be prosecuted.
On July 4, 1876, Representative James Garfield, who later became our 20thpresident, said: "Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature ... If the next centennial does not find us a great nation...it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."
While Garfield was referring to Congress, the body in which he served, I submit that We the People are responsible for the character of EVERY person we choose to serve us, from the local school board member to the President of the United States. Every last person.
We have abdicated our responsibility as citizens of this great land. We have lowered our standards and expectations, thus falling prey to evil people – tyrants – who seek personal power, control, and wealth.
The Declaration of Independence states, "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." Our government only has the power we allow it to have. Consequently, if we are ruled rather than served, isn't it because we allow it?
The in-your-face actions by government representatives these past two weeks indicate the arrogance and level of contempt they have for We the People. Will we continue to choose "ignorant, reckless, and corrupt" over "intelligent, brave, and pure?" Will America celebrate a 241st anniversary of independence? It's about choices. What say you, my fellow American? To anyone willing to hear....
