Did Biden win the presidency? Democrats and Republicans disagree

Family Research Institute polled 200 adults in Colorado Nov 13-20: Almost all Democrats said Biden honestly won while most Republicans said Trump actually won. At least so far, Biden may well be regarded as a ‘fake President’ by about half the country.

Respondents said the 2020 Presidential election was:

    Fair

    29 (91%) of 32 Democrats

    8 (12%) of 66 Republicans

    19 (63%) of 30 Independents

6 (55%) of 11 adherents of other minor parties

    Not sure

    2 (6%) Democrats

    1 (2%) Republicans

    1 (9%) other minor parties

    Rigged

    1 (3%) Democrats

    57 (86%) Republicans

    11 (45%) Independents

    3 (30%) other minor parties

“Rigged” makes sense in that Republicans gained seats in the House, almost none of the bell-weather counties predicted Biden, and Republicans retained all GOP-controlled state legislatures and even added a couple of governorships.

Our poll closed before Sidney Powell separated from the Trump lawyers on Nov. 23. No modern election results have been regarded as rigged by so many. Can Biden govern when half the country thinks him a fraud? Will this change if and when Powell files a suit disputing Biden’s election?
