James Lambert
Looking back over the years, I still have warm memories about fellow believers who have encouraged me in my faith. I will still never forget the one evening at Linfield College when a friend came into my dorm room and shared his faith with me by reading to me "The Four Spiritual Laws" booklet.
This little booklet put together by Bill Bright (founder of “Campus Christ") has impacted millions of lives over the years for the better. What I have fully realized then and now is there is a dire need for us fellow followers of Christ to share our faith with friends, neighbors, and relatives.
I want to express my thanks to pastors I have known in the past who have done this. Perhaps this explains why the following pastors: Mike MacIntosh, former pastor (Horizon Christian Fellowship) in San Diego and Jerame Nelson (Rev church) have seen their church noticeably grow over time.
While there are a number of pastors who have seen their church grow, there is still a need for fellow believers in Christ to regularly share their faith with others. I say this because over the last 7-8 years, I have spoken at churches around the country. What is noticeable to me is that in many churches their congregations are made up with attendees who are primarily 50+ in age. Because of this I will continue to pray that there will be a much needed revival of faith in Christ during the coming years. Our country certainly needs this to happen! God bless!
