Gutless provocateurs and their useful idiots

Given the inflammatory anti-ICE rhetoric and the steadily increasing violence by rioters in Minneapolis, bloodshed was inevitable. The public response to Renee Good’s shooting was just as predictable. Critics of President Trump and his policies called it cold-blooded murder. Those who support the current administration and the rule of law called it justifiable self-defense.

But who are those people who have made it their mission to target the men and women of ICE?

There are the organizers – often paid by various anti-American elements to foment violence.

Then there are the committed Democrats. They tow the party line no matter how absurd, whether it’s for genital mutilation of children, sanctuary cities, or open borders. Just a few years ago, they wanted to defund all police departments. Now they’ve decided to just focused on ICE.

Among the protestors are the Trump-haters. Because they despise the man, they reject everything he stands for, even the enforcement of lawful immigration laws. Today, they’re demanding that the ICE Agent who fired the fatal shot be tried for murder. But in 2021, those same people celebrated the actions of a lone Capitol Police officer who shot and killed an unarmed female who posed no threat to him whatsoever.

Many of today’s protestors are simply citizens, who have never paid much attention to politics. But they’re hungry for a cause, and they’ve been taken in by the poisonous rhetoric spewing from political agitators. Suddenly they’ve been inspired, envisioning themselves as front-line champions of freedom, and eager to prove their compassion for the “poor huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Perhaps they’ve become friendly with neighbors who came here illegally. And while they claim to be filled with boundless compassion for their new neighbors, they’re oblivious to the countless Americans who have suffered at the hands of criminal immigrants, Americans who have been robbed, beaten, maimed, or killed. These self-appointed warriors not compassionate, nor are they champions of freedom. They’re puppets, useful idiots of the provocateurs, those odious politicians who do nothing to improve the lives of their constituents, who use their position to incite rioting.

One such provocateur is Jacob Frey, mayor of Minneapolis. It would be hard to find a more despicable, weaselly politician. While Somali immigrants in his city were busy bilking the American taxpayer to the tune of 9 billion dollars, he was working hard to ingratiate himself with the Somali community – studying their language and learning their dances. He ordered his police department not to work with ICE, and when Renee Good was killed, Frey scurried to the podium to inflame an already dangerous situation. His speech was theatrical and antagonistic, eventually demanding that ICE “Get the F out of Minneapolis.” A serious leader would have tried to defuse an already precarious situation.

A lot of people have taken his words to heart. Following the shooting, Reuters reported that tens of thousands of protestors marched in protest in Minneapolis and other cities. But this administration is not accountable to those frenzied disruptors. It’s accountable to the more than 77 million Americans, the silent majority, who elected Donald Trump to rid our country of the millions of unvetted foreigners invited by the Biden Administration.

Ms. Good truly was a victim – not of ICE but of cowardly provocateurs like Jacob Frey, who set the wheels in motion and sit back to relish the ensuing chaos.

But there is another victim of this war on ICE. There was a time when all law enforcement, local, state, and federal, stood together to combat crime. That was before so many unprincipled police leaders began turning to weak and corrupt politicians to determine which laws to enforce. The camaraderie that all police agencies once shared, camaraderie essential to police work is no more, and that only benefits the criminal element.

ICE agents only want to enforce America’s immigration laws. The rioters, those useful idiots, are there specifically to raise Cain, to disrupt their mission. Without their presence, there would be no incidents like the tragedy in Minnesota.

Neither Renee Good, nor the agent involved intended for it to happen. We can’t know what was going through Ms. Good’s mind in those final moments. No one can say whether she planned to run that agent down, or she simply panicked when things got out of hand. But her actions put the agent and others in immediate danger, and he responded exactly as he was trained to do.

One thing is undisputable: Renee Good would be alive today if she hadn’t decided on that day to interfere with the dangerous work of enforcing the immigration laws of this country.
