The tea party is coming, the tea party is coming!

OK, OK, so Paul Revere probably never said, "The British are coming, the British are coming!" but "The regulars are out, the regulars are out!" However, I do declare, "The Tea Party is coming, the Tea Party is coming to save our Republic!" A slight exaggeration, maybe, but when I listen to the Left Wing Elite Media's ad hominem attacks, disdain and death knell declarations that the Tea Party is dead, I not only want to bust a gut laughing, I am now more determined than ever to fight their prevarications and perversions of Truth and the American way!

Before I discuss the phenomenon of the modern Tea Party movement, a little history lesson is in order. From its earliest days, Boston was called the "city on a hill." This appellative, borrowed from the Old Testament, meant that Boston and its settlers would be the "New Israel" and would stand for life, liberty and a righteous light unto the world. After a series of odious taxes by England's tyrannical King, the "last of the Puritans" Sam Adams, along with a number of Sons of Liberty, were brewing for a Revolution when King George III, while repealing a number of taxes, to prove his sovereign power over the Colonies insisted: "there must always be one tax." That tax became the infamous "Tea Tax."

Sam Adams, the Sons of Liberty, and many Patriots along the eastern seaboard; organized to defy the tyranny of Parliament and the King, by not only boycotting English Tea, but by intimidating sellers to turn back to London. Eventually, it led to the Sons of Liberty preventing the unloading of three British Tea Act ships in the Boston Harbor. A Standoff occurred between Sam Adams, the Sons of Liberty and Massachusetts governor Thomas Hutchinson (who sided with the King of England). Governor Hutchinson demanded the Tea be unloaded. By 6:00 pm on December 16, 1773, a crowd of some 7,000 Patriots gathered at Boston's Old South Church, demanding the Ships return to England.

Finally, Sam Adams declared from the Old South Church pulpit "This meeting can do nothing to save the country," and then, a feigned call of a Mohawk war cry was heard outside. About 150 men dressed up to resemble Mohawks, with military discipline and precision, boarded the three Tea Act Ships and contrary to popular mythology, went to great trouble to make sure that nothing but tea was thrown into the Boston Harbor. The "Mohawks" even swept the decks of the ships before they left. Boston was not the only Tea Party, as Tea Parties were held in a number of colonial locations. The Tea Parties of 1773 were not acts of wanton lawlessness, but deliberate and disciplined acts of civil disobedience. A civil disobedience that dared to defy the "intolerable acts" of a tyrannical King, Governor and Government that denied the God-given rights of Life and Liberty of colonial Americans.

Fast forward to the intolerable tyranny of Democrats in 2009. After Obama and Election 2008, Democratic campaign candidates gave us promises galore of balancing the budget and the ending of deficit spending. The Democratically-controlled Congress, along with the Hope and Change Messiah Democratic President Barack Obama, gave us the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This Act, along with historical spending that used the failed paradigm and practice of socialist Keynesian stimulus waste, did not lead to economic prosperity and lower unemployment, but to government dependency, welfare and food stamp explosion, an entitlement mooching mindset and increased indolence in American society.

Americans were furious! Once again they were fooled, hoodwinked, and lied to by one of the greatest Machiavellian-Orwellian politicians to come down the pike in a long time, Barack Hussein Obama. Across America, ordinary citizens took simple steps to stop the chicanery and Constitutional corruption of Congress and the Executive branch. They assembled peaceably. They spoke out against the lies and corruption in Washington D.C. and they called for a return to the fundamental principles that made this republic under God the greatest Constitutional Republic in world history.

The media elites and Democrats such as John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Ed Schultz, Rachael Maddow, and Chris Matthews called these patriotic Americans, Nazi's, tea baggers, fanatics, and militants, when all along, they were peaceful but passionate proclaimers of common sense ideas and purveyors of constitutional republican values given to use by our wise Founders. The Tea Partiers are simply asking for a balanced budget; elimination of earmarks, pork barrel spending, reduction of government bureaucracies, regulations and inordinate taxes; and last but not least, in fact it's the sine qua non (indispensable and essential part) of the Tea Party philosophy; that our elected representatives actually read, know, and abide by the Constitution of the Unites States of America. This applies as much to Republicans as it does to Democrats!

Tea Partiers agree with the economic wisdom of our Founders. Such as George Washington who said,

"To contract new debts is not the way to pay off old ones...avoid occasions of expense...and avoid likewise the accumulation of debt not only by shunning occasions of expense but by vigorous exertions... to discharge debts" or Thomas Jefferson who declared, "The maxim of buying nothing but what we have money in our pockets to pay for the broadest foundation for happiness...the principle of spending money to be paid by prosperity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

Big Media, as you define and demean the Tea Partiers with your derisive rhetoric and caustic clamoring chatter, you defend your anti-American secular and socialistic worldview with an affinity towards Big Brother government solutions to our problems. Wake up, they don't work, they never did and they only exasperate our problems. Your subjective blinders have crippled your ability to objectively understand the raison d'être (reason for the existence) of the Tea Partiers. They are not dead, au contraire (on the contrary) they are more alive and growing than ever before, as I can attest to. After one year of traveling Wisconsin and America defending Governor Walker and Constitutional republicanism, I have seen their faces, heard their voices and understand profoundly their concerns: that our Republic is dying and they will not look away, they will not stick their heads in the sand, they will not be silent and they will not be fooled by politicians of any party whose words are primarily about self-aggrandizing power and not "We the people."

As Obama, the Democrats and unfortunately too many Republicans swindle our future and our children children's future "on a large scale" Americans, Tea Partiers, conservatives, libertarians, independents, Reagan Democrats and millions of Republicans will live up to our de facto National motto E pluribus Unum "out of many, one." We will unite; we will be ONE in a common cause to stop the onslaught of this unconstitutional Washington D.C. "New Leviathan," an immoral and intrusive Federal government that shreds the amazing and miraculous document that begins with the words "We, the people of the United States."

I close with the brilliant and now more than ever apropos and relevant words of our great statesmen Daniel Webster, who said:

"Hold on, my friends, to the Constitution and to the Republic for which it stands. Miracles do not cluster and what has happened once in 6,000 years may not happen again. Hold on to the Constitution."

Americans, hold on to the Constitution in 2012, throw the tyrannical socialist Tea of Obama and his comrades off the Ships of spending and taxing despair and throw them out of office, so by God's grace, we can keep our Republic sailing freely through the waters of life and liberty!
