"For all we have and are,
For all our children's fate,
Stand up and take the war.
The Hun is at the gate! . . .

"It's North you may run to the rime-ringed sun,
Or South to the blind Horn's hate;
Or East all the way into Mississippi Bay,
Or West to the Golden Gate."
— Rudy Kipling

SARAH PALIN SAYS THAT HER INNER "MAMA GRIZZLY" SOMETIMES COMES TO THE FORE. Good for her. Not content to attack Sarah herself, the "news" media (sic) revels in reviling the whole Palin family, including an innocent baby with Down Syndrome. For shame!

"Oh, East is East, and West is West, and and never the twain shall meet,
Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God's great Judgment Seat;
But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor birth,
When two strong men stand face to face . . . "
— Kipling

Anyone out there think that the recent Presidential election featured "two strong men"? The victor is, in Kipling's words, "As thorough an Englishman as ever coveted his neighbor's goods." And he didn't know that a poacher is just a "keeper turned inside out."

As for the Senator from the Great State of Arizona, you know the story (he defended the poacher more than the Palins), but in lieu of two strong men, a real lady emerged from the clear, clear air of Alaska — in the mode of Maggie Thatcher.

"And the talk slid north, and the talk slid south,
With the sliding puffs from the hookah-mouth.
Four things greater than than all things are, -
Women and Horses and Power and War . . .

"Take my word for it, the silliest woman can manage a clever man; but it takes a clever woman to manage a fool . . . But that is another story . . .

"When the Hymalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride;
He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male."

NO WONDER THE FEMINISTS AND GAYS HAVE SUCH A FEAR OF SARAH PALIN!

"The 'eathen in 'is blindness bows down to wood and stone;
'E don't obey no orders unless they is 'is own."

Talk about turning things upside-down — the Elitists on the Left think that we Traditionalists are the "peasants" who should be taxed and not heard, "taught" but not to think. Academia turns Kipling's words on their head:

"Ye thought? Ye are not paid to think."

Establishment educators (sic) give lip-service to "critical thinking," but exactly what do they mean by that term? They MEAN parroting what the professor tells us to "think."

They MEAN
that it is "critical" to be "forward-looking," not looking back to "turn back the clock." They like to say, "Thanks for the history lesson, but . . . [more nonsense]."

Whole language. New math. Creative spelling (with a minimum number of vocabulary words). "A more honest history." Ebonics. "Street English." Good grammar is not "inclusive." And English Lit and Western Civ? BAH HUMBUG. Just "teach to the liberal test" and the little children will be just fine; they will grow up hating the English and Israelis, and America first!

HOPE AND HUMBUG ARE THE "IN" THING RIGHT NOW WITH THE ELITISTS.

"Gentlemen-rankers out on a spree,
Damned from here to Eternity . . .

"We have done with Hope and Honour, we are lost to Love and Truth,
We are dropping down the ladder rung by rung;
And the measure of our torment is the measure of our youth.
God help us, for we knew the worst too young! . . .

"There is but one task for all -
One life for each to give.
What stands if Freedom fall?
Who dies if England live? . . .

"Ford, ford, ford o' Kabul river,
Ford o' Kabul river in the dark!" . . .

"Clear the land of evil, drive the road and bridge the ford.
Make ye sure to each his own
That he reap where he hath sown . . .

"But it never really mattered till the English grew polite."

— Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)

No wonder the lefty Elitists hate Kipling and will only teach "post-colonial" literature, if any!

Speaking of Fords — and history repeating itself — funny that Ford and Playboy are both going broke, and Larry Flynt implores us for five Bill to save the Porn.

Kipling wrote, "Man propounds negotiations, Man accepts the compromise."

Robert Louis Stevenson said, "Man is a creature who lives not by bread alone, but principally by catchwords."

He also said, "Politics is perhaps the only profession for which no preparation is thought necessary."

Nature abhors a vacuum, and in the absence of Traditionalism in education, catchwords and compromise "rule." Into the vacuum of a Root-less society, pop culture and the New York Times rush in where angels fear to tread. Dissent is so "yesterday" now, so compromise with the Constitution rules; compromise with immorality rules (not to mention compromise with the Philistines, er, Palestinians).

CONCLUSIONS: Don't even think about asking "What's your point?" — because here it comes:

The Constitution was so written as to discourage the majority from persecuting the minority, but by the same token, that's a sword that cuts both ways (do I have to state the obvious?): THE MINORITY SHOULDN'T PERSECUTE THE MAJORITY EITHER!

In the misguided, politically correct crusade to be "polite," the silencing of Christians is "justified" so as not to "offend" minorities. Dissent is now called "polarization" — while elitist Judges and Justices rule by Fiat.

Whether they walk the walk or just talk the talk, most Americans still consider themselves Christian believers, but we are supposed to just SHUT UP!

The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC) has prepared their Top Ten list of the most outrageous Christian bashing in America in the year 2008. The CADC is an organization that works to advance religious liberty for Christians, and believes that Christians are being persecuted more frequently at work, school and in the culture because they stand for faith and values. CADC Chairman and CEO Dr. Gary Cass says that "It is time for the Christian bashing to stop and for Christians to no longer be treated like second-class citizens. Anti-Christian bigotry is real and growing. Those who engage in it should be exposed and called to account."

#10: Jack Black Musical Video: Hollywood "stars" mock Christians, distort the Bible.

#9: Bill Maher Gratuitously Attacks Pope; compares Catholics to cultists.

#8: ESPN Anchor Dana Jacobson's "F--- Jesus" Remark, speaking at Atlantic City.

#7: Minnesota University Professor Desecrates Communion wafer on his "blog."

#6: "Religulous" the Movie, by Bill Maher (pseudo-intellectual "documentary").

#5: Chaplains Fired for Praying in Jesus' Name (4th U.S. Circuit gives blessings).

#4: Colorado law makes publication of the Bible illegal and "forbidden."

#3: Barack Obama implicitly defames Christianity by his policy positions on morals.

#2: Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin Is attacked and her church burned.

And finally, the #1 Christian Bashing Instance in America for 2008...

#1: Radical Homosexuals Assault Prop 8 Marriage Supporters in California

During and after the November campaign stories flooded in of pro-Prop 8 signs being taken, people verbally and physically assaulted, church property and private automobiles vandalized, and person's jobs and pastor's lives threatened simply for exercising their right to campaign and vote in support of millenia-old traditions.

Well, at least Sarah Palin hasn't gone quietly back to the land of the midnight sun. She had her say the other day ("like a grizzly"). You can view the video at this link:

P.S. To that Top 10 list of Christian-bashing, I would nominate that "news" story of last week trumpeted by all the "news" media — the one with headlines claiming that teens who make promises of virginity are no different than those [Christians] who don't. The "methodology" of the "study" sucks because it carefully avoided comparing promise makers with the general population of teenagers! If you read the whole "story" — or the study itself — one finds that the promise keepers give up their virginity at an average of age 21 (it's 17 for all teens). They also have fewer children without fathers in the home, which of course is anathema to the agenda of the New New Deal — the agenda that says, "Only government can solve our crises."

Congratulations to Bristol and Levi, and GO SARAH.
