Will liberal louses loose the fateful lightning -- using rights to do wrong

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:
His truth is marching on
– Julia Ward Howe 1861

Julia Howe rose at the first light of day one morning in 1861 to pen the words of the Battle Hymn of the Republic. She remarked that she took no thought, but the words seemed to flow down through the old scrap of a pencil she found the day before. Inspired by the singing of the Union soldiers around their camps who sang with such enthusiasm, even though all they had for lyrics were the un-consolatory words of John Brown's body laying molding in the grave.

Howe saw the shape of patriotism without form and grace and by her gift of poetry and pentameter she gave the soldiers' a picture of a more directed and noble sentiment.

After a half million lives were offered up to abolish the curse of slavery now 300 million Americans are on the brink of slavery once again.

Liberalism, Barack Obama and a generation of Americans who have long been prepped by Godless academics, loose liberals and corrupt politicians have twisted the concept of freedom so badly that the right to do anything regardless of how twisted, perverted or harmful to others it may be, has become what they now perceive as – freedom.

We don't need to ask what Jesus meant when he said that the person who sins, is the servant of sin, (Jn 8: 34) we need only to glance around the American social landscape to see unbridled addictions to lust, perversion, indecency, drugs, materialism and Godlessness.

It is not hard to imagine that if Julia Howe were alive today she would not write about "the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps." She may well envision the fires of hell creeping up from beneath, on a nation so confused in its proclivity toward perversion that the biggest debate today is whether our rights actually come from God as the founders have so clearly stated.

In a day when media moguls maul the consciences of Americans with rubbish like "Fifty Shades of Grey" in the backdrop is a supreme court judge who is openly gay and another who is not, but has officiated in a "gay marriage," unlike Shakespeare's "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing" – this tale is signifying the most backward and wholesale perverted time for any nation in the world's history.

It is these "Justices" who at the time of the writing of this piece have so far refused to recuse themselves from taking part in the question of legalizing, across the nation, "gay" or "perverted marriage.' It is what looms dark against the sovereign counsel of the living God even as conservatives and patriots rally together for a resurgence of America's greatness in the 2016 political contests.

Greatness will not return without righteousness, but since over 40 years of resistance to Roe v. Wade has not prevailed to stop the slaughter of innocents the possibility that any law allowing "gay marriage' will be overturned before the return of the Lord is nil.

It is my respect for all patriots from our past and in the present that drives me to vehemently warn with all gravity that if these laws are changed to allow perversion to become the law of the land the pollution and decline of our once great nation will be compete. No amount of rallying in 2016 will be enough to suspend the judgments of God, which will follow in time.

The fruit of Barack Obama's "transformation" will be ripe for the harvesting, but the product gathered is poison. To wit:

"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up." – Hosea 8: 7

This is not poetry, it is promise.

It must be noted that when the worst of dictators rules (the antichrist) he will seek to change the laws and the times – he will succeed.

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." (Da 7: 25)

All precursors or types of antichrist have done exactly the same. They manipulated laws, traditions and mores with promises of a new movement, a 1000 year Reich or a "transformation." What follows in every case is the demise of those nations that took the bait. Those that did not immediately fall became slaves to their own evil compunction and ceased to be anything, but a crumbling matter of the past as their influence faded into obscurity.

Will the blood of those who died to end slavery cry out against this generation for its mindless plunge into reprobation and corruption and where will this end?

Oddly, in an almost prophetic manner Julia Ward Howe seemed to have covered and fully answered that question in the last verse of her powerful anthem.

He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,
He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave;
So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave,
Our God is marching on

Whose slave shall we be?
