At the risk of sounding presumptuous, I often feel I should start my articles with a warning. I should clarify that I am not a prophecy buff, or a casual observer of prophetic events. I should also warn that I'm not a prophecy expert, although there are good ones who've spent many years studying eschatological doctrines.

I am a prophet. I am not a self-appointed or self-absorbed prophet. I didn't dream myself into this place. I was called, and I am answering. Doubt, objections, and arguments to the contrary are noted, but they will change nothing.

“Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.”

This is another warning I probably should use. This is because while this parallel or reflection is toward a living person (the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent), it is not meant to cast an aspersion on him personally or in his public life. He seems a gentleman and a very good Secretary of the Treasury.

He is a homosexual, and he is engaging, in his role, an element of leadership that almost never shows up in our history. Yet, it is promised to appear in the reign of the final dictator of the world, known as the Antichrist. (Dan 11: 37)

As a preacher of the Word of God, I will never say that homosexuality is not a deep moral flaw. It is, and it will remain so until the day of judgment.

The political device that Bessent is using in his office was probably generated by President Trump, but regardless of its source, it is something prophetically promised to come in the last days. This does not mean that President Trump or Scott Bessent are the Antichrist. Far from it. It is only an example of a device that will be used in the last days to control the entire world. For world leaders, it will now be brought into vogue. It is today, it is in your face.

‘Operation Economic Outcast’ A new kind of frontal attack

The Treasury Secretary calls his new wave and system of sanctions, “economic asphyxiation.” It is designed to plug all the leaks that would give Iran any breath of air in a present condition where their economy is collapsing for lack of oxygen.

Could it be effective? There is little doubt it will be very effective, but will it make Iran yield and return to the world of nations and at least pretend to have some level of cooperation with the rest?

Scott Bessent calls it a financial offensive. There is little doubt that's exactly what it is.

Shadows of all that the Antichrist is, precede his appearance

I have to remove the inclination to speak to everyone as if they were students of prophecy. You have to speak plainly when it comes to the Antichrist. This means things that the Antichrist does, that change our world for the worse, begin to show themselves long before he is finally revealed.

Lawlessness and rioting appear before the “lawless one” appears. (2Thess 2:8 NKJV) Homosexuality and a full range of other perversions appear just before he is revealed. (Daniel 11:37) Profanity, sacrilege and blasphemy become common for may just as Antichrist drops into the world scene. He becomes the world’s greatest public blasphemer. (Rev 13:6)

The Trump/Bessent Economic Shot Across the Bow

The Trump/Bessent use of economic sanctions choke out the economy of a nation, right down to its bread and butter, it is a new weapon to get control over, not just one nation, but all of them.

It is just like what Antichrist does in the last days. In fact, he is the only despot, dictator, or ruler who sought to conquer the world, who conquers in a way unlike all before him. He doesn't raise a sword. He fires no weapons; he drops no bombs. He uses only the economy to bring the world into complete control under his own hand.

The Tattoo No One on Earth Can Afford

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Rev 13:16-17

Remember, the buy and sell part here has to do with everything, including food. We can live without a lot of things. Nobody is living without daily food. An economic attack on your very existence will arise from this reality.

When this rule becomes universal law, you will resist it at your own peril. But you will either starve to death or be put to death.

The price for belief in our gospel will be your life. Some will shift into underground movements to remain alive, but many will die to say to the rest – “we will not take your mark or your Satanically obsessed world despot as our own.”

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

An economic edict will have more power in it than any atomic weapon ever created. It will control the Earth like a rod of iron

What you see today in the Trump/Bessent rule is a precursor, a foreshadowing, a prophetic forecasting of what is next, but beware: the Bible is not speaking of decades from now, and I would suggest it is only two years or less in front of us.

Someone recently told me that the reason you see so many people with tattoos, when just a few years back they would have been avoided by almost everybody. The only people, in fact, who had them were sailors and prisoners, but now he said to me they're getting soft on the idea of tattoos, which is a preparation for them to receive the mark of the beast.

I cannot answer for others, but I think I'll get ready to receive a throne, not a mark.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4
