Change that no one can believe in -- is it politics or prophecy

With an economic downturn of historic proportions, the highest un-employment rate since the great depression and 34 newly appointed czars some with criminal records, communists and forced abortionists, what can we believe? This change seems to lead only to a cliff situated at the end of the far left trek into madness.

Is the new run for socialism in health care, government spending, protection of deviates and forced social tinkering through political correctness and diversity just a long awaited political shift or is it the very fulfillment of last days prophecies? There are hundreds of certified ministers of the gospel and tens of thousands of Christians who are well versed in Biblical prophecies who believe the latter.

The Bible says there will be prophets in the church (1 Cor 12:28) and not just in the ancient world. Anyone with a calling of prophecy on their life will soon discover that they have become one of the groups of God's servants who are the most likely to be unheard, scorned or simply ignored. It goes with the territory so most don't complain about it but seeing people rush headlong to their own demise always bothers a true prophet.

In an effort to balance true revelation God speaks in increments that most people can understand because the message must speak to the times they are living in. Prophecy can tell us how things will turn out in the end but we are not at the end just yet, so something else must be said. Simply put, what must be said are the words that can keep us from slipping over the edge of a cliff?

I was warning about the economic collapse of the nation long before the advent of the Obama Administration so it isn't bias that causes me to connect the two but simply history. Oddly, history along with simple reading, writing and arithmetic is where most of the youth who voted for Barack Obama are the weakest. Those in the political class are usually far more cognizant and educated but that is not where most of the 60 million Obama votes came from.

Those who voted for Obama are more likely to be moved by a slogan, a catch phrase or the repeated use of a few politically correct hyperbolically charged watch words. Still for millions of others led by the waves of daily pop culture changes, Hollywood glitterocracy, heavily biased mainstream media and secular academicians it may take but a smile and a twinkle in the eye of the 'one.' It isn't that history may not move them; it is that history is largely un-known to them.

With not enough space here to draw from the list of thousands of examples I'll just pull one out of the hat for didactic purposes. Anyone under the age of twenty-one would tell you that Palestinians are a maligned and struggling group of people who have been oppressed by Israel, ignored by the world and bereft of their noble quest for nationhood, now for decades if not centuries. Thank you modern media and revisionist history for that ridiculously errant panoramic.

Prior to 1948 Palestinians were never a nation nor were they ever seeking nationhood. Not only did Israel offer independence and self rule many times which they rejected and instead opted for the destruction of Israel but they have been bombing, attacking and bad mouthing Israel with bloody fervor for over a half century. Don't let these facts get to the history challenged.

Those who have decided that words should be put into classes under those that we should use and those that are disdained also created a new kind of social classification. PC, tolerance and the call to diversity has created what could now be called the only acceptable class of people legitimately allowed in the nation. Sound unreasonable?

Is it only the conservatives who noticed Janet Napolitano's decision to label right wing conservatives as domestic terrorists? This highly inflammatory and deeply insulting call to doubt the patriotic may be a PC hallmark but it is certainly no triumph.

Labeling the nations noblest as flag waving potential domestic terrorists is a double standard that reveals the inherent falsehood of political correctness and it is apparent that proponents of this wishy washy social proclivity will not be satisfied until we are all beaten and whipped into submission. It isn't just freedom of speech that suffers under politically correct engineering but it is truly the freedom to think.

Patrick Henry said it one way but in the modern vernacular it is still the same "give us liberty or give us death" but either way we will not run off the cliff at the end of the radical left wing highway with the rest of the PC crowd.

Should someone remind the administration that it is a two party system and beyond that conservatives and liberals comprise the whole enchilada of American thinking? Liberalism and left wing socialistic thinking are the new kid on the block but not the only kid on the block. This is where prophecy comes into the picture.

Anarchy and liberalism are socialistically, philosophically and Biblically linked to the final days of nations. The connection is subtle. Anarchy appears incognito as the practice of many all new government protected behaviors. Any sexual orientation, any political position, any annulment of life for the aged or the unborn and any kind of genetic meddling the imagination can conger are all fair game. At last civilization is free; but is it?

It is not the personal anarchy of an individual who wants to steal, pillage or plunder that the Bible refers to as becoming prevalent in the last days. It is a false assurance that man after all knows better what is good for us all. Leaders under the demonically inspired call for PC and tolerance pull back enough restrictions to create the illusion that we are entering a new enlightened phase where freedom is unlimited, as long as you use the right words and practice only pre-approved, socially acceptable PC behavior.

Recurrent Biblical themes are there so we will not presume. Their redundancy is God's way of making sure we don't miss the warning. They are the road signs that occur more frequently as we approach the exit on the highway of life. From the faithful warnings of America's greatest evangelists to the impassioned warnings of the relatively unknown preacher in the little country church, the call has gone out. The time fast approaches when the doors will be closed.

For shear contrast here are two such messages. One is about what society becomes at the approach of the last days. It's a sort of 'here's what you are gonna do.' The second passage pertains to what our collective behavior will precipitate as a reaction from God. Finally you will see it is appendaged with a call to take a different path. The choice is ours!

The first warning sounds like a reading of the morning paper or the latest TV newscast. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Tim 3: 1-5)

The second warning has to do with what God does in response to the prevailing slide into collective anarchy that civilization decides to take. It reveals Gods intervention, his mercy and a sure way out, a door rather than a cliff to jump off of along with the PC bent of the times.

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2: 17-21)
