DEBRA HEINE — Former Special Counsel John Durham fielded questions from Republican and Democrat lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, giving the American public their first glimpse of the career public servant in action. Democrats attempted to portray Durham as an ultra MAGA hack who was doing the bidding of former President Trump, and did their best to defend the FBI’s conduct during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.... ROBERT SPENCER — Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has the Leftist political and media elites deeply rattled, and that’s utterly delightful. Imagine this scenario: a wildly unpopular and manifestly incapable president is running, however haltingly, for reelection. Initially he seemed like a lock, but then he encountered an unexpected challenge from a scion of an old American political family, a man who defies all the conventional categorization of political candidates and has set the establishment on its ear by challenging not only the superannuated corruptocrat in the White House but many of that establishment’s most cherished assumptions.... DENNIS PRAGER — After a speech in Romania last week, I was asked a question by a young member of the audience that, remarkably, I don’t remember ever having been asked: What is leftism? The question seems so simple and so basic to understanding contemporary life that you would think it would be posed frequently—and if it weren’t, the reason would be that almost anyone who cares about society would already know how to answer it. But the question is rarely posed, and few know how to answer it.... (more)

AMERICAN GREATNESS — For those working for the FBI, particularly in the Hoover building or the Washington Field Office, allow me to offer a little career advice: Quit. Anyone who cares about law enforcement, the rule of law, and the Constitution, should not associate with the criminal gang that the bureau is quickly becoming. If you want to terrify innocent Americans, scoff at Congress, and lie to courts, then the FBI is the right place for you. Those who care about their reputations for integrity should flee the FBI as quickly as possible.... (more)

DEBRA HEINE — A five-year investigation by federal prosecutors, FBI agents and IRS officials into Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings has resulted in a sweetheart plea deal with likely no jail time for the first son. The younger Biden is expected to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes, NBC News reported. A separate gun possession charge against the Biden family bagman will reportedly be dismissed if he meets certain conditions. Trump-appointed U.S. attorney David Weiss has agreed to recommend only probation for Biden for his tax violations, according to sources.... (more)

RENEWAMERICA — Medical and legal elites want the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) to change the Uniform Determination of Death Act (UDDA) to make “brain death” easier to declare, explicitly without consent, including for the apnea test which removes the life-supporting ventilator and only risks harm. If you agree with the attached action letter prepared by Drs. Paul Byrne and Christine Zainer, please sign and return, if possible, before July 9, 2023, to Christine Zainer (NOT directly to the ULC):... (more)

PJ MEDIA — Today is Fathers’ Day, a day to celebrate our fathers and grandfathers and also, to a lesser degree, any of the men who have played important roles in our lives. Gen. Douglas MacArthur once said, “By profession, I am a soldier and take great pride in that fact, but I am also prouder, infinitely prouder, to be a father. A soldier destroys in order to build; the father only builds, never destroys.”... (more)

PETER LABARBERA — Fox News, already reeling from its ejection of popular anchor Tucker Carlson, has come completely out of the closet, as it were, using its programming and on-air talent to celebrate LGBT "Pride Month" like never before. The self-styled "fair and balanced" network, based in heavily gay-populated New York City, has long supported homosexual advocacy behind the scenes through its annual contributions to an LGBT "journalists association."... VICTOR DAVIS HANSON — Walt Nauta is a 10-year-Navy veteran and served as an aide to former President Trump both in and out of office. Special Counsel Jack Smith has now indicted him for allegedly “making false statements in interviews with the FBI.” The indictment’s subtext is that Nauta refused to cooperate with, and turn state’s evidence to, the special counsel in its efforts to convict the former president. But why stop the indictments with a man who loyally served and followed the orders of the former president of the United States, was a Navy veteran, and a hard-working immigrant from Guam?... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID — With the back and forth over Trump versus Biden, we have lost sight of the really “Big Guy,” the former president who was implicated in the Hillary email scandal and was running the Russia hoax. His name: our first openly Marxist president, Barack Hussein Obama. The evidence shows that it was Obama, not Hillary or Biden, who launched the Russia-gate probe of Donald J. Trump. Obama was the real security risk, and still is.... (more)

MIKE POMPEO — This week marked the 79th anniversary of D-Day when courageous American soldiers joined Allied forces to storm the beaches of Normandy and begin the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany. Their noble deeds eight decades ago serve as a reminder that preserving freedom often demands great sacrifice and commitment, crucial wisdom that we are in danger of forgetting today. We are allowing our military investment to decrease and our readiness to decline. This will severely hinder our ability to deter adversaries for years to come, while encouraging the kind of aggression and war on the part of our enemies that is detrimental to American interests.... DENNIS PRAGER — I have supported aiding Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. I don’t understand conservatives who want America to watch Russia crush an independent country. That is not the America I thought conservatism embraced. At the same time, the opponents of aid to Ukraine do make valid points. For example, America should not seek regime change in Russia; peace should be pursued as vigorously as war; and compromises—such as an agreement that Ukraine does not apply for NATO membership, at least for a specified amount of time—will be necessary.... LIFE NEWS — Republican Ohio Sen. JD Vance announced a new step Tuesday that will make it harder for judicial nominees to get confirmed, criticizing Attorney General Merrick Garland for “going after his political opponents.” “We have to grind this department to a halt until Merrick Garland promises to do his job and stop going after his political opponents,” Vance said via Twitter. Vance will be putting holds on nominees to the Justice Department. If any senator places a hold on a nominee, that means there is not unanimous consent, and as a result, the nominee will need to be approved in a floor vote, which will likely make for a longer process....
