NEWSMAX — Former Attorney General Bill Barr told Newsmax that the U.S. intelligence community's 2020 letter discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story was "a political stunt." Joining "The Record With Greta Van Susteren" on Wednesday, Barr slammed the Biden campaign for allegedly drafting a letter by 51 then-current or retired intelligence officials denouncing the laptop before the 2020 election.... ARCHBISHOP BORYS GUDZIAK — In the media coverage of Ukraine, one key factor has received relatively little attention: the role of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) in supporting this unjustified and brutal war. In the Kremlin’s view — and in the explicit words of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, the leader of the ROC — the brutal assault against Ukraine “is a metaphysical battle.”... (more)

NEW YORK POST — A cheat sheet held by President Biden during a Wednesday press conference revealed that the 80-year-old commander in chief had advance knowledge of a question from a journalist. “How are YOU squaring YOUR domestic priorities — like reshoring semiconductors manufacturing — with alliance-based foreign policy?” read a question from Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian.... WORLDNETDAILY — The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments Wednesday about a 94-year-old woman’s lawsuit against Hennepin County, Minnesota, which sold her home to cover a tax debt and kept over $20,000 in surplus cash beyond the tax debt that was owed. The case, Tyler v. Hennepin County, challenges the practice of home equity theft, which allows the government to take an owner’s property to cover an outstanding debt without returning the sale amount beyond what is owed. It’s already illegal in all but a dozen states and Washington D.C.... (more)

NEWSMAX — Tucker Carlson's last week at Fox News coincided with the network agreeing to pay Dominion Voting Systems more than $787.5 million to settle a lawsuit. And some are speculating Carlson's abrupt departure might have much to do with it. "FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways," Fox News announced in a statement Monday. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor."... (more)

PETER LABARBERA — One day after the airing of a sympathetic CBS "60 Minutes" interview with controversial, videotaped, alleged Jan. 6 instigator Ray Epps — in which Epps played the victim and sought to shift blame for J6 violence to Tucker Carlson — the most popular host on Fox News was ousted by the network. In the "60 Minutes" interview Sunday, Epps claimed Carlson is "obsessed with me," and said, "He's going to any means possible" to destroy his life to "shift blame [for J6] on somebody else."... NEWSMAX — It will be "impossible" for the Department of Justice to "cherry pick" Hunter Biden out alone for an indictment without doing anything about at least eight other members of President Joe Biden's family. Plus, the money they got influenced "six specific decisions" Biden made either while vice president or president, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Sunday.... (more)

MARGOT CLEVELAND — Did Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys in California and Washington, D.C., block the filing of criminal tax charges against Hunter Biden? Accusations levied by an IRS whistleblower on Wednesday suggest the federal prosecutors did just that, contradicting Attorney General Merrick Garland’s recent congressional testimony and raising an avalanche of questions concerning the independence of the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office overseeing the Hunter Biden investigation. Given the severity of the claims, the U.S. attorney should speak up immediately.... (more)

JOSEPH FARAH — On the evening of Tuesday, April 25, we'll witness the miracle: Israel surviving three-quarters of a century of hostility. We've seen God's miraculous provision all along, beginning with the miracle of Israel's rebirth 75 years ago. We've seen God's love for His Chosen People even in a sea of hatefulness, with Israel surrounded by belligerent neighbor-nations. No opposition, no assault, no matter how intense, has destroyed the state of Israel. Against all odds, this tiny nation still stands as a beacon of freedom and righteousness, an ongoing testament to the power of God and the absolute truth of His latter-days promises!... (more)

NEW YORK POST — It is said that history turns on small hinges, with the poem “For Want of a Nail” the classic example. Another example is unfolding before our eyes. The sudden flurry of evidence and allegations about the Biden family’s money-making schemes is a direct result of the GOP winning control of the House of Representatives last year.... (more)

JERRY NEWCOMBE — The left seems to delight in chipping away at our nation’s Judeo-Christian foundation. A recent example occurred when President Biden’s appointee to head NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center was sworn into office. The standard traditional practice is to swear in on the Holy Bible. But last week, Dr. Makenzie Lystrup chose instead to be sworn in on a book by the late Carl Sagan.... (more)

JOAN SWIRSKY — According to the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s latest statistics, in 2020 one in 36 children (approximately four percent of boys and one percent of girls) was estimated to have autism spectrum disorder, estimates that are significantly higher than those in all previous years. White children are about 19 percent more likely than black children and 65 percent more likely than Hispanic children to be diagnosed with autism.... (more)

PJ MEDIA — Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has finally returned to Capitol Hill, having spent most of his tenure as a U.S. senator at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center being treated for clinical depression. Fetterman was discharged on March 31. While it’s good that he’s progressed with mental health issues, we haven’t forgotten about the lingering cognitive impairments that became a major issue of the campaign, as it was clear to anyone that this man wasn’t fit to serve in the U.S. Senate.... PJ MEDIA — On April 19, 1775, a few shots fired in the Massachusetts towns of Lexington and Concord shook the foundations of the world and heralded the dawn of a new age. When a few brave minutemen — including at least one slave, Peter Salem — stood their ground on Lexington Green and Concord’s North Bridge and refused to let the British soldiers pass, it must have seemed to the prudent and the fearful like an act of insane futility. How were rag-tag groups of farmers and shopkeepers to defeat the most powerful and best-trained army in the world? And yet the American patriots drove the British back to Boston in shame. There was a long war ahead of the rebels, but they had proved that they were willing to die to defend their freedoms against the ever more tyrannical British Empire. History.com provides more details on these key Battles of Lexington and Concord.... (more)

CBN NEWS — Despite the ongoing debate over morals and values in public schools today, one organization is finding a way to bring Jesus to public school kids each and every week. WORLDNETDAILY — Throughout America, parents by the millions send their precious children off to their local public schools, imagining their kids’ days will be filled with reading, writing and arithmetic, along with science, history, sports, music and group recreation, just like when they attended school decades ago. However, they’re not only in for a shock – but for total betrayal. Today, what are still euphemistically called “public schools” (remember, “public” means “government”) have been transmogrified into far-left ideological, political, and religious indoctrination centers aimed at reprogramming and transforming America’s children.... DENNIS PRAGER — A generation of Americans is being raised on half-truths and lies about the history of slavery in America. They are given the impression that America was uniquely bad and that American slavery was uniquely bad. They learn nothing about slavery elsewhere. Among the many lies they are told are that "black slaves built America" and that America is systemically racist.... (more)

JOSEPH FARAH — Who has done more to save the nation from the tentacles of Big Tech? The answer could well be Elon Musk. When he paid far too much to buy Twitter, he found out, among other things, that his new property was essentially controlled by the nation's intelligence agencies. He told Tucker Carlson Monday night on Fox News Channel: "The degree to which government agencies had full access to everything happening on Twitter blew my mind. It blew my mind."... (more)

RUMBLE — Biden officials' widespread lack of compliance with constitutional and statutory requirements regarding oaths of office potentially nullifies, or at a minimum calls into question, the legitimacy of their appointments or positions. The absence of mandatory Oath of Office affidavits shifts the burden to the appointees to prove to Petitioner Ms. McGee and the U.S. Attorney their bona fides. The production of these statutorily required affidavits is also required by law.... (more)

NEW YORK POST — The manufactured “scandal” of Justice Clarence Thomas’ relationship with philanthropist Harlan Crow unites two of the left’s chief bigotries today — a hatred of black conservatives and a hatred of billionaires. Given the left’s relentless attacks on Thomas ever since bogus sexual-harassment charges failed to derail his confirmation back in 1991, the only surprise is that it took so long to come up with this angle....
