TWITTER — In a video recording of a World Economic Forum interview posted Jan. 17 at Twitter, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told his audience that it is his "dream"—and that of his company—that by 2023, "we will reduce the number of people in the world by 50 percent." Exactly when the video was recorded is unclear, but Bourla became CEO of Pfizer on Jan. 1, 2019, and the goal was adopted by "the company" that month (according to the video)—roughly a year before the Covid-19 pandemic began. Note that the response of the audience to Bourla's words at the time of the recording was tepid (though nonetheless shocking), no doubt because most of his listeners were happy to keep on living.... ROBERT SPENCER — One of the most spiritedly debated questions of the Biden regime is that of who is really running this particular dumpster fire. We know Old Joe isn’t in charge, but who is? First Lady Jill Biden on Thursday gave some fresh indications that she may be playing Edith Wilson to Old Joe’s Woodrow when she blocked reporters who were asking the putative president uncomfortable questions about his classified documents scandal and peremptorily forbade the superannuated figurehead from dancing at a Lunar New Year celebration.... JERRY NEWCOMBE — The Declaration of Independence says we’re endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights and among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. When Vice President Kamala Harris gave a speech promoting abortion over the weekend, she cited our nation’s founding document, and the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But she conveniently left out the right to life—even though that is the first right listed. She also left out the Creator—the source of all our rights.... (more)

JUST THE NEWS — House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan says he is dedicated to finding a legislative solution to keep the government from colluding with Big Tech to censor Americans. "When governments are involved in pressuring and working with the private sector to keep information from the American people, we believe that's a direct attack on the First Amendment," Jordan said on Tuesday's edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "This is something we will definitely look into in the Judiciary Committee."... (more)

PJ MEDIA — In a court filing from last week, “Governor” Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.) requested that Kari Lake’s election lawsuit be thrown out, claiming that Lake failed to prove that Arizona voters were disenfranchised in the 2022 elections. “Despite seven witnesses, hundreds of declarants, and thousands of pages of exhibits, Lake failed to demonstrate any violations of Arizona law and offered no evidence that absent alleged violations the outcome of the election would have been different,” the filing reads.... ROBERT SPENCER — When Pope Benedict XVI died on December 31 at the age of 95, it turns out that he had a completed book ready for publication upon his death. Written in Italian, that book, Che cos’è il Cristianesimo: Quasi un testamento spirituale (What Is Christianity: Almost a Spiritual Testament), is full of explosive revelations and trenchant criticism of his woke successor, Pope Francis. Could Pope Benedict begin a counter-revolution within the Roman Catholic Church from the grave? Stranger things have happened, although it would take any one of us a good while to think of one.... CLIFF KINCAID — When anti-communist analysts and security experts examined Barack Hussein Obama’s history of associations with unsavory characters and communist figures, they had to wonder if Obama is a Marxist mole or communist collaborator. In one sense, it didn’t matter. As a candidate, Obama didn’t have to undergo a background security check. As president, however, he had instant access to our most closely guarded classified state secrets. His fingerprints are all over the “Obama-Biden” documents discovered in various places under the control of Joe.... (more)

THE FEDERALIST — A recently filed whistleblower lawsuit against the election data firm Konnech Inc. and its founder Eugene Yu includes detailed allegations from a former employee that corroborate True the Vote’s claim that Konnech transferred American poll workers’ data to China. THE FEDERALIST — It’s been a good year for classical Christian education. New school starts are up threefold, a book on classical education became No. 1 on The New York Times bestseller list, and on Jan. 26, Fox Nation will release season two of a popular series on classical Christian education, “The Miseducation of America.” Of course, with growth comes attention. AMERICAN GREATNESS — Churning out carbon emissions to fly in on their corporate jets to Davos, Switzerland, for their annual fête to make the world safe for autocracy, the World Economic Forum’s hypocrisy is once again patent: Greenpeace accused attendees of ‘ecological hypocrisy’ before asking just why the WEF claims it is committed to the global goal of keeping warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) when the emissions generated from all the private jets flying in and out of airports serving Davos last year were equivalent to those produced by about 350,000 average cars for a week....
