NEWSMAX — The state of New York will repeal its indoor mask mandate Wednesday as the number of infections has decreased. According to three people briefed on the decision, Gov. DEEP ROOTS AT HOME — In September, 2021, Wheaton College dean Ed Stetzer interviewed NIH Director Francis Collins on his podcast, "Church Leadership" about why Christians who want to obey Christ's command to love their neighbors should get the Covid vaccine and avoid indulging in misinformation.... RENEWAMERICA STAFF — Two scholars with obvious leftist leanings argued in a Feb. 6 op-ed at The Hill that "Like it or not, the government needs greater power to fight pandemics." On the premise that the U.S. "is not organized to face the danger [of a global pandemic] because the Constitution does not prepare a complex globalized society to control pandemics," they said, "We need to rethink the constraints on national leadership." To wit: The un-American reign of authoritarians like Dr. Anthony Fauci needs to be more fully unleashed – not handicapped by quaint checks and balances – for the good of society, they implicitly urge. The best rebuttal to such an affront to America comes from the renowned C.S. Lewis, as presented in the outstanding video "That Hideous Strength: C.S. Lewis's Prophetic Warning against the Abuse of Science."... (more)

DAILY CALLER — Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said on Friday that he plans to investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci if Republicans win control of the Senate in midterm elections this November. Paul serves on the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Senate Committee and if Republicans win, he could be nominated as chairman of the committee. This could give him the authority to conduct investigations and issue subpoenas, according to Business Insider.... (more)

PJ MEDIA — Last week, Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) suffered a stroke and underwent brain surgery. He is currently hospitalized in Albuquerque. He is expected to return to the U.S. Senate in four to six weeks, assuming there are no further medical complications. However, during his absence, Democrats no longer have a majority in the Senate – Republicans have a 50-49 majority. This means that until Luján returns, a united GOP can block the Democrats' agenda and there's nothing the Democrats could do about it.... (more)

NEW YORK POST — Jeff Zucker's sudden resignation from CNN shocked company employees and television personalities alike, but it reportedly isn't a source of major concerns for the executives at Discovery Inc., the network's future parent company. Discovery Inc. executives are treating Zucker's untimely exit as a "fresh start" for CNN ahead of a pending merger with WarnerMedia, according to CNN's media reporter, Brian Stelter.... (more)

NEWSMAX — Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis said Saturday it was fraud for GoFundMe to "commandeer" $9 million in donations sent to support protesting truck drivers in Canada and he will investigate what he called "deceptive practices" by the website. GoFundMe took down the so-called Freedom Convoy's page Friday, saying it violated its terms of service. It said donors had two weeks to request a refund, then remaining funds would be disbursed to "credible and established charities."... (more)

LIFE NEWS — When it comes to the grisly use of aborted baby parts for dubious scientific research in America, a new report shows embattled NIH director Anthony Fauci is behind most of the funding. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), which Fauci directs, is behind $27 million in taxpayer funding for research involving tissue or body parts from babies killed in abortions, or approximately 80% of the funding for all such research in the United States.... JERRY NEWCOMBE — It would seem that in our day, American history is being dismantled one statue at a time. Just the other week, New York City removed a statue of Theodore Roosevelt. NBC notes: "The bronze sculpture of Roosevelt on horseback with Native American and African figures depicted subjugation and racial inferiority, the American Museum of Natural History said."... RUMBLE — There are certain doctors who are blowing the whistle on the ways our government has handled Covid-19. It seems that the only advice coming out of DC or otherwise is to get vaccinated. Any treatments or preventative measures are either ignored or outright discouraged. Everyone remembers the false notion that ivermectin is just a "horse dewormer" despite the fact that it has been used by humans since long before Covid-19 ever existed. One doctor who is spreading the truth is Dr. Peter McCullough. He has been censored and attacked for doing so. He has taken considerable losses for his adherence to the truth, but he persists.... EPOCH TV — On "American Thought Leaders," veteran journalist Sharyl Attkisson told Epoch TV interviewer Jan Jekielek that the current attempt by the U.S. media and government to control the public mind "is all part of a very well-funded, well-organized landscape that dictates and slants the information they want us to have." She said this relatively new phenomenon began around the time Barack Obama called for "someone to step in and curate information in this wild, wild West media landscape" back in 2016, and led to the labeling of Donald Trump's views as "fake news" – a term Trump successfully turned back on the liberal media.... TWITTER — Arizona governor candidate Kari Lake: The Media just won't learn their lesson. They continue to try and stump me, but I know their game better than they do. RED VOICE MEDIA — We know that any substance consumed by pregnant women can be deadly to the baby. Big pharma ads don't let us forget it, nor do the thousands of mothers working tirelessly in social media groups to inform each other about the things that can kill their kids. When it comes to Dr. Fauci's unholy clot shot, even the New York Times has admitted that vaccinated women are experiencing a chaotic menstrual cycle, and post-menopausal women have even started their periods again.... ART MOORE — Pfizer and BioNTech asked the Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday to grant emergency use authorization to administer its COVID-19 vaccine to children younger than 5 years old. The FDA already has granted emergency use authorization for children between the ages of 5 and 11 despite members of FDA and CDC advisory panels expressing concern that safety data for children regarding Pfizer's COVID vaccine is lacking. And further, children have a nearly 100% survival rate from infection while the current omicron variant generally is producing mild symptoms.... (more)

TOWNHALL — Fox News host Tucker Carlson called Baylor College of Medicine professor and CNN medical analyst Dr. Peter Hotez a "misinformation machine" during a Tuesday night "Tucker Carlson Tonight" segment. Hotez's frequent appearances on CNN and MSNBC discussing the Covid-19 pandemic have been marked with dire predictions and calls for draconian coronavirus restrictions and suppressing the speech of anyone who disagrees with him. Calling him a "crazed publicity addict" who "will do any public appearance anywhere at any time," Carlson contended that "very few things Peter Hotez says have any relationship to reality."... ROBERT KNIGHT — Few things are as satisfying as watching a bully get a comeuppance. It's a staple of popular literature. Thriller writer Brad Thor often includes a sequence in which his hero, Scot Harvath, comes upon somebody bullying some victim and takes matters into his own hands. It's not so much revenge, which is only the Lord's to take, but a sense of satisfied justice. It's why Ralphie's beatdown of "Scut" Farkus in "A Christmas Story" never gets old.... (more)

PATRICK GARRY — The divisions in American society keep building, despite all the talk of tolerance and unity. Divisions between the genders, as well as between the gendered and nongendered. Divisions between the races. Between the different legal classes of immigrant. Between the religious and the secular, the Ivy League educated and the Midwestern farmer, and between those thriving on the global economy and those tied to and dependent on their local communities. But now, yet another division has been added: between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.... (more)

DAVID KUPELIAN — One year after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, President Joe Biden gravely informed the nation that the incident, during which exactly one person, an unarmed female pro-Trump protester, was killed -- unnecessarily shot to death at close range, without warning, by a Capitol Hill policeman -- was "the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War."... JUST THE NEWS — A federal judge is considering whether to release a sealed report by a computer security expert who reviewed Dominion Voting Systems equipment after Georgia's top election official and its governor urged action.
