RED VOICE MEDIA — You've probably heard of the book Uncle Tom's Cabin. That's the anti-slavery novel by Harriet Beecher Stowe. It was the best-selling book in America in the 1850s, and its existence radicalized people in both the North and the South. Well, the story goes, when Harriet Beecher Stowe visited the White House during the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln remarked that "you're the little lady who started this big war."
