SELWYN DUKE — It was said during our Mideast military adventures, and has been considered a truism of war, that you can't really win a conflict without "boots on the ground." For it's difficult to completely subdue a people from afar. It may not be too different with battles for civilization.... (more)

PETE RIEHM — Americans seem to be paralyzed with disbelief; they are basically in shock. The electorate seems hopelessly divided, everything is going in the wrong direction, and the entire country seems crazy. JOSEPH FARAH — As far back as 2011, Dr. Anthony Fauci was so excited about the idea of "gain-of-function" research that he wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post called "A Flu Virus Risk Worth Taking." In the piece, Fauci was enthusiastic to the point of being apoplectic for the breakthrough that almost assured the world, either because of an accident or worse, the founding of the coronavirus, COVID-19, the China Virus. It may hard to believe, but Fauci is famous for working for the U.S. as the highest-paid person in the U.S. government - - but he's supposed to be working for the prevention of such plagues, not the advancement of them.... THE FEDERALIST — How rights are viewed—individual or collective—explains today's sharp disagreement over the rules for running elections, both in Congress and in states considering election integrity bills. Democrats—specifically the dominant extremist variety—view rights through the collective lens of race. Critical race theory (CRT), based in Marxism, is essential to understanding their objectives. CRT holds that personage is irrelevant and the immutable trait of race is paramount.... (more)

HARBINGERS DAILY — After almost 70 years, the National Day of Prayer this year looks very different in Washington DC. That is because the permit to hold the annual event at the capitol was denied for the first time since 1952. Since the U.S. capitol building breach on January 6th, the area remains closed off to the public, where the event would usually take place. The man who sought to obtain the permit for the event, Rev. Patrick Mahoney, who is also director of the Christian Defense Coalition, rebuked the decision to deny the Prayer at the capitol.... (more)

PETE RIEHM — The Chinese virus pandemic has been dragging on for over a year now. First, it was no masks, then it was definitely masks, and now maybe it's two masks. Social distancing became mandatory. Then our government told us we were in danger of overloading the healthcare system, so we just need 15 days to shut everything down to "flatten the curve." In many places, those shutdowns are going on 15 months and the only thing flattened is the middle class. And wasn't it odd that all those Army Field Hospitals and Navy Hospital Ships President Trump rushed into service were barely used.... (more)

PETER LEMISKA — Today's Democrats seem to have a way with words. They may have learned the power of word manipulation sometime around the turn of this century. That's when they introduced to America a radical concept once considered outlandish. They couldn't have done it without redefining a single word, a word that, throughout recorded history, meant the union of one man and one woman. By changing the definition of "marriage," they succeeded in bringing about a tectonic shift in America's social mores.... (more)
