Glory in God

". . .He shall glorify me. . ." John l6:l4

We are here to glorify Jesus. If the Holy Spirit came upon Church Age disciples to glorify Jesus, then cross bearers will do the same for they are the ones overcome with this same Spirit. Therefore, this Spirit will work out His mission of always glorifying Jesus by way of those whom He possesses.

Consequently, we are not waking up mornings to bring glory to a denomination nor creed nor liturgy nor self. We are breathing to breathe out glory unto Jesus the Sinless Sacrifice.

Whatever the cross carrier does in one day must focus primarily upon Jesus, even in the slightest manner. In fact, what may appear to be the slightest manner may in truth be a glorious glorification of Jesus. Heaven seems to accent primarily the small as measured by earthly standards.

". . .when the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak. . ."

The indwelling Spirit of truth reveals more and more the unique individuality of Truth Jesus. Whatever the baptizing Spirit does, such always comes full circle to the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. One prime reason is due to the fact that it was this personage of the triune godhead who willed prior to earth's start that He would create earth, offer Himself as earth's Redeemer, then literally provide the salvation sacrifice for earth. How logical then that earthly time span's chief light would fall upon the Christ.

Yet such perfect communion exists within the triune godhead that the Christ comes to His own turf, earth, to see through nothing but Father's will. And in the end of all things earthly, the Christ presents the earth to Father. All this is accomplished by the work of the Spirit of God moving upon creation waters, Spirit of God coming upon Old Testament disciples, Spirit of God blessing the Christ at His baptism, Spirit of God resurrecting the Christ from the dead, Spirit of God empowering the Christ's followers throughout the Church Age.

It is with like communion that each cross bearer honors the triune godhead by addressing prayer to "Our Father" in "Jesus' name" while knowing that all spirituality is due to the indwelling Spirit of God.

Whatever you do today, do to the glory of Jesus. The Spirit within will see to that for His presence is to do just that. When one professes spirituality but does not glorify Jesus as God, then that one gives himself away as having bogus spirituality. The true indwelling Spirit of God always lifts high Jesus as deity, Savior, Sinless Sacrifice.

There is much talk about spirituality; but not all such profession confesses Jesus as the Christ. Therefore, the spirits indwelling such "spiritualities" are of Satan and not of God.
