The objective is to win, not get along

To win the senate, and 2012 presidential election, do we have to be more inclusive, more to the left on economic and social issues to win? Can a candidate that is too conservative may get the nomination but never win the general election? If we the people, drift one bit on conservative fiscal issues, social issues and keeping a strong military, we will have the same problems all over again. We need to get behind a "Ronald Reagan type" long before the primaries hit. We need to start vetting a candidate now. Not someone inside the belt way and not the usual suspects! I really believe if we and all tea party movements come up with a another "Reagan" we can win. Let them go up against Obama. Give the people a crystal clear choice! The Socialist/Communists don't retreat on their principles! The objective for us is to win, not get along! (JMJ)
13 Mexican troops charged with transporting drugs

The Mexican army has ordered three junior officers and 10 soldiers to stand trial on drug trafficking and organized crime charges after they were allegedly caught with more than a ton of methamphetamines and 66 pounds (30 kilograms) of cocaine. The soldiers were arrested last week with drugs at a military checkpoint south of Tijuana, across the border from San Diego. They are being charged within the military justice system. Gov. Walker: Obama Should Fix His Own Budget Crisis and stay out of his state's business

Determined Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on Friday began the legal notification process that could lead to 1,500 state employees losing their jobs in April, declaring in an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview that President Barack Obama should stay out of his state's fiscal crisis and instead ought to focus on "the much, much graver budget crisis we have in our nation's capital, which he's failed to lead on."
The GOP governor said the jobs will be saved, however, if at least one of 14 AWOL Democratic state senators return to the state next week, which would allow the Wisconsin Senate the quorum it needs to pass Walker's "budget repair bill."

Who is paying for Wisconsin Democrats
Democrat members of the Wisconsin State Senate continue the stalemate over the state's budget crisis by hiding in Illinois hotel rooms. Our question is who is paying for them to remain out of state? Rumors that third party donors are financially supporting the renegade Senators have been floating around since the crisis began leading us to believe that at least some of the Senators are in violation of Wisconsin campaign finance laws. Wisconsin law clearly states that accepting such support is illegal while the State Legislature is in session.
From: Subchapter III, Chapter 13, Wisconsin Statutes (13.625) Prohibited practices.
(1) No lobbyist may:
(a) Instigate legislative or administrative action for the purpose of obtaining
employment in support or opposition thereto.
(b) Furnish to any agency official or legislative employee of the state or to any
elective state official or candidate for an elective state office, or to the official's,
employee's or candidate's personal campaign committee:
1. Lodging.
2. Transportation.
3. Food, meals, beverages, money or any other thing of pecuniary value...
As the Governor issues layoff notice to 1500 State employees to balance the budget, it is clear that these Democrat Senators care more about protecting the power of the labor unions than the welfare of state workers. After all, it is the unions that provide the campaign support that keeps them in office, not the rank and file workers. We will continue to support Governor Walker in his efforts to make Wisconsin financially strong until these obstructionist legislatures decide to do the job they were elected to do. We are calling for a criminal investigation to determine if campaign laws have been violated and that any violations be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Important Update: We have just learned that 1 of the Wisconsin Republican State Senators has wobbled and is siding with the labor unions and Barack Obama in the epic budget battle in Wisconsin. Another 2-3 Republican State Senators are also feared to be "wobbling." Polls fresh out of Wisconsin show that while 93% of Democrats are behind Obama and the unions only 73% of Republicans are siding with Gov. Scott Walker. So the key to victory is for us to strengthen the fortitude and spines of our "own" side — those who should know better, and stand on their principles. We are therefore targeting our upcoming ad buys to focus on conservative/Republican areas so we can bolster support for Gov. Walker and his proposals amongst Republican constituents. Stay permanently active in politics. Do not lose all the ground and let the socialist/communist back in control of Congress. Be vigilant, do not be arrogant, be humble. Pray for God's help of good against evil. We must ask God's mercy and repent of our sins. God will not deny his mercy. The greater the sinner, the more right you have to his mercy. God is not a liar.
