An open letter to the 45th President of the United States
By Armand C. Hale
Mr. Stephen K. Bannon, President Trump's chief White House strategist, slammed the Lame Stream Media (LSM) during an interview, arguing news organizations had been "humiliated" by an election outcome few anticipated. Mr. Bannon repeatedly describing the media as "the opposition party" of the current administration. I agree.
Mr. Sean Rima, host of the "The Sean Rima Show," a local talk venue on KTSA 550 AM & 107.1 FM in San Antonio, Texas had this to say. "He (President Trump) should have the entire White House (WH) press corps rotated every 90 days. They have had offices in the WH here for years. They think there are on the WH payroll."
I agree. The WH should allow media people from small towns all over the country to interview the president, who normally would never get access to him let alone being in the briefing rooms. Allow average citizens with Twitter, Facebook and similar media to live stream from briefing area on their accounts. This would give more unfiltered news to the American people.
"The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances."
We the people, need a new generation of media coverage completely unbiased with the aim of reporting the news, period. No agendas. No personal opinions. Just the facts. Let the American people make up our own minds on issues facing themselves.
The LSM can no longer be trusted. The coverage of the 2016 election blatantly proved it. The facts are there, whether you want to believe it or not.
Dear Mr. President. This would be one of the most radical implementations your administration can do, which do not need congressional or judicial approval. It has been stated the "swamp needs to be drained." The toilets need to be flushed as well. (JMJ)
