Stop amnesty vote!

I usually do a op-ed on more than just one topic. I believe this is very important so I am dedicating this article to mobilize us, "We the People." (JMJ)

Stop Amnesty Vote This Week! Sen. Harry Reid Vows to Force DREAM Amnesty Vote Next Week! Reid will unlikely have the power to do this again if we defeat him one more time. Sen. Harry Reid's office has announced that he is pushing for a vote NEXT WEEK on the mass amnesty known as the DREAM Act. On any Senate bill of this importance, there are usually several votes to get the measure through. In this case, the first vote will be the most critical.

Reid has to get 60 Senators to vote with him to cut off an expected filibuster by our allies. If Reid loses this vote, the DREAM amnesty will be dead. the DREAM Act amnesty would legalize about 2.1 million illegal aliens under age 35. Truth doesn't look so good. Most illegal aliens under 35 would qualify. They do NOT have to learn English. They do NOT have to have a record clean of all misdemeanors and felonies. Anyone who says they have taken any college classes or PLANS to take them will be eligible. This will cost billions and billions of tax payers' dollars.

"We the People," we have to beat this terrible insult to the rule of law. If the DREAM Act amnesty passes, here will be some of the consequences:

• The results of Nov. 2 election will be overturned. Obviously, the American people on election day were clear that they wanted no more amnesties;
  
  
• An estimated 2.1 million illegal aliens will be given work permits. They will be able to compete head-to-head with the 22 million of our own Americans who cannot find a job;
  
  
• These people will qualify for U.S. citizenship. Once naturalized, they will be able to sponsor their relatives to immigrate here — even their illegal alien relatives already here! They will qualify for Medicaid, welfare, and in-state tuition at our colleges.
  
  

More states will become like California, become bankrupted and then will ask the federal government (you) for billions of dollars to bail them out indefinitely.

Listen to what Lisa O. of Wisconsin has to say to her fellow members:

It was there three years ago when they tried to pass amnesty, 3 times. 3 times it failed because American Citizens came out in force and completely overloaded the phones and computers with their disgust. Now we have illegal's on a pitch to congress for the DREAM Act. You folks know what we are up against. Call now. Email now. Fax now. Go to the satellite offices of your reps with a letter. I am so sick and tired of not being represented correctly ....Thanks to all of you who are getting into this quest." — Lisa O. of Wisconsin

Lisa's right. If we defeat the DREAM Act, Amnesty will be off the table for the next two years — at least! So send the faxes. Make the calls.

BUT FIRST — please click here to donate so "we the people" can continue leading this fight to stop the DREAM Act amnesty.

If we stop this amnesty, we will have made it through 10 long years of battles — winning every time.

If we stop this amnesty, I believe we will be able to move ahead with OUR agenda in the new Congress. Verification, better border protection, fewer new foreign worker permits.

But we can only get THERE if we can hold the line HERE!
