Obama-mania: "CAPTURING A NATION" (without firing a SHOT)

"Chatham heart-sick of his country's shame." — William Cowper (1731-1800)

"Necessity [desperation] is the plea [excuse] for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves." — Wm. Pitt (1759-1906); Earl of Chatham

"Oh, my country! how I love my country." [or]

"Oh, my country! how I leave my country." — Pitt (attributed last words)

ACCORDING TO A POLL, HALF OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WISH THEY COULD LEAVE THEIR COUNTRY RIGHT NOW. "We the people" are secretly heart-sick over the way we "leave" our country to our kids and grandkids. Even the words "Country" and "Freedom" are being redefined by politicians in the great deconstruction of the Queen's English.

DID YOU NOTICE? President Obama never (or almost never) uses the word Freedom, but he uses the word "bi-partisan" a lot? The Majority Party's number one priority is capturing a nation without firing a shot — nor allowing any argument (that's "bickering"). THE ISSUES ARE ALL SETTLED, AND THE FABIAN SOCIALISTS "WON"!

1) The first "argument" to be settled (in the minds of the elitists) was the theory of the man whose 200th birthday we are now approaching — Charles Darwin's. If one didn't acquiesce to the theory of our animalistic past, then you must be an unevolved monkey yourself. But to this day, the "silent majority" still doesn't accept the theory of evolution.

2) Into the vacuum of Faith-shamed-into-silence rushed the concept of purposelessness. Manifest Destiny become a four-letter word, and our forebears became the villains (never mind the tribal warfare, cannibalism, and paganism they found in the New World).

3) Pop psychology combined with media hype replaced many of the functions formerly performed by religion in the great experiment of the American Revolution. "Americanism" used to be a widely understood concept, but now it's an "unmentionable" in our culture (our kids have mostly never even heard of the word).

4) "Guilt" and "repression" were hyped as Enemy Number One — the worst thing that can be experienced by a human being. "Self-expression" and "self-esteem" (though not Rugged Individualism) became the Faith of the New Age. Sexual "expression" was the only remaining Virtue. Ozzie and Harriet were laughed to scorn, and the only sin left standing was a belief in "sin" (never mind the Silent Majority; the vocal minority "rules").

5) Smaller families and abortion-on-demand became another "settled" issue. To make up for less demand for the "necessities" of food, shelter, and clothing, the redefined family had to buy more luxuries to keep the economy afloat ("everything was on paper," as my mother used to say of the 1920s). Civilization devolved from Gold to copper to brass to iron to Plastic. Achievement and thrift were punished; irresponsibility and over-consumption were rewarded with "subsidies"!

6) The educrats of the Establishment public schools first redefined the Founding Fathers as Dead White Males, as their words were "too hard to understand" (besides, they cultivated tobacco and owned slaves and talked about a Natural Law that trumped any "Law" man could hire a lawyer to write for him). "Rights" now came from the high priests in legal robes, not from our Creator.

7) By interfering with the Free Market (i.e., manipulating it), the Social Darwinists turned our focus from the Heavens and scammed us into looking toward Washington DC for our salvation; "federal aid" brought more and more Federalis CONTROL, which made it easy for usurpers to ease us into a "desperation" mode. The government broke the legs and offered us a crutch — crutches made of balsa wood, with splints and band-aids on them.

But the Fabian Socialists over-reached during the 1990s and oughts, thinking that a phony "global warming" scare was necessary to bring in the utopian New World Order. The "silent majority" never bought it, and now that we are in a REAL crisis, the credibility of the secular enlightened ones is just as dust-covered as that of the tyrants of the old Soviet Union. The one-party regime now in power will not admit defeat for Utopia, of course, and the 1960s hippies are in euphoria (but will it play in Peoria?).

THE WORD-FOR-THE-DAY, boys and girls, is "sham"; as in "Chatham heart-sick of his country's shame." We have come full-circle. From "slavery" to slavery. From monarchy to oligarchy. Freedom of religion to freedom "from" religion. The Jeffersonian "laws of Nature and of Nature's God" are being dust-binned by the "Chosen" ones.

You see, boys and girls (not to say 'my friends'), the words SCAM and SHAM come from the same root word: "shame"!

John Ayto says that Shame is a general Germanic term, with relatives in German "scham, Dutch "schaam," and Swedish and Danish "skam"; "shamefaced" has no connection to "face"; it's an alteration of an earlier word, "shamefast," the latter half of which means firm.

CONCLUSIONS, ANYONE?

Indulging in a little pop psychology myself here, my firm belief is that, despite their college opinions, the survivors of the "sixties youth revolution" are subconsciously bothered by their sexual excesses — and are forced to "compensate" by passing laws purporting to "save the planet" from the gases they breath out during heavy breathing (carbon dioxide), not to mention trans fats, dairy products, ad infinitum.

During the reign of King George the W, "patriotism" was defined by them as "dissent" and "questioning authority," but now that they have seized the reins, it is SUDDENLY the very definition of patriotism to rubber-stamp every whim and executive order that is issued. All the issues have been SETTLED NOW.

The ruling elitists speak much of "monopoly," but they greatly cherish their own, greatly supported by useful idiots in the news media. As I have said on more than one occasion, there is no monopoly more deadly than the "monopoly of thought" pervading the educated class. The Earl of Chatham said:

"Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it." [House of Lords, January 9, 1770]

"If I were an American, as I am an Englishman, while a foreign troop was landed in my country, I would never lay down my arms, — never- never — never!" [House of Lords, 1777]

"ALICE, WHERE ART THOU?" wrote Alfred Bunn (1796-1860). And that was before "WONDERLAND." Yes, where art thou, America and Britain, today?

"That the king can do no wrong, is a necessary and fundamental principle of the English constitution," said Sir William Blackstone (1723-1780). "English human nature" is what he meant, I'm sure. Yes, human nature makes it so much easier to give unlimited power to the king when it's such a tedious thing to think. But Blackstone was also a preacher of the Law of Nature that says, "Even if the king says a foolish thing, it's still a foolish thing."

"If everybody is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking," said Patton.

I REPEAT MYSELF, BUT — at a time in which the priority number one is "consensus" over "bickering," feelings over thinking — it's NOW OR NEVER. WAKE UP. LIVE FREE OR "ELSE."

Samuel Butler (1835-1902) said that "It has been said that although God cannot alter the past, historians can; it is perhaps because they can be useful to Him in this respect that he tolerates their existence."

"At this point in time," the social Darwinists and Fabian socialists are in blitz-krieg mode. They paint the current economic condition as "hopeless" unless we cave in to their demands to nationalize the means of production — beginning with the entire credit system — the demands they have been trying to implement every single year through good times and bad. And the LIE that this is the worst situation in "the last 70 years" is straight out of the 1860s play-book of the Russian Nihilists. As the Encyclopaedia Britannica, 11th edition says:

"They [the "educated" Nihilists] began a propaganda among the working population of the towns and the rural population in the villages . . . Those of each locality were personally known to each other . . [but] Each individual [revolutionary socialist] had entire freedom as to the kind and means of propaganda to be employed.

"Some disguised themselves as artisans or ordinary labourers, and sought to convert their uneducated fellow-workmen in the industrial centres, whilst others settled in the villages as school-teachers, and endeavoured to stir up disaffection among the . . peasantry . . .

"To persons of a certain education the agitators sought to prove that the general economic situation was desperate, that it was the duty of every conscientious citizen to help the people in such a dilemma, and that the first step towards the attainment of this devoutly to be wished ['hoped' for] consummation [of their disguised agenda] was . . [the "uniting" of the masses toward this END]."

Thank God for 1910, when historians were still faithful to the actual "history" of how things went down! The only "hope" for the Utopians within the DC Beltway is the burning of the 1910 Encyclopaedia Britannica (and any other literature that says it like it was). Those who tell us daily that our only hope is "unity over division" are disguising their true intentions. When they speak of "tolerant of all opinions," they really mean to keep the "silent majority" silent from now to eternity.

I'm a historian, not a prophet, but if you think that "things can't get any worse," and that we simply have to do SOMETHING — EVEN IF IT'S THE WRONG THING — then you ought to read, as Paul Harvey says, the rest of the story — of the Russian Nihilists (a movement that pioneered the Bolshevik Holocaust, though it took over 50 years to come into its ugly fruition.

"No apologies" for my wordiness today, and if you've read this far, I beg you to keep reading further. Save this column for rereading, and forward it to your address book, Democrats and "republicans" alike. This is 1852 all over again (that was the year both the Whig rank-and-file and the northern Democrats cut their ties with their 'leaders" who just wanted to "go with the flow" and suppress all dissent within their ranks.

"Those who lead you cause you to err," said Jeremiah, Hosea, and Amos ("by their lies and their whoredoms"). The Ivy League ruling elitists don't have a clue as to what's really going on — or how to solve "it" — so please ANALYZE THIS:
