The brainwashed mind
By Ronald R. Cherry
The beauty of brainwashing, from the point of view of those responsible for brainwashing propaganda, is that it occurs within the victim unawares – you don't realize it. A brainwashed mind is one that is full of lies disguised as truth; the lies are hiding behind a curtain. The tragedy of brainwashing is that a good life cannot last long when aimed against the truth – also applicable for an entire nation where many millions of people suffer from it. Many of us are brainwashed from one degree to another, some far more than others, but we are nevertheless responsible for its eventual cure.
"He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors." Thomas Jefferson
