In his introduction to President Trump's State of the Union speech, George Stephanopolis of ABC News claimed polling data showed that the president's approval rating was at a historic low of 37%. There is good reason to be skeptical of this number.

Like all recent State of the Union speeches, President Trump's 2019 presentation was met with mixed opinions according to the political persuasion of viewers. But it was unique in other ways that will be discussed, analyzed and critiqued for weeks to come – ways that have not gone unnoticed by citizens and voters.

The president stated many encouraging economic facts. He said 5.3 million new jobs have been created to date, 5 million fewer Americans depend upon food stamps, and unemployment has fallen to the lowest rate in 50 years. In the last month alone, he said, 304,000 new jobs were created, twice the number predicted. In response to these facts, Democrats were silent amid boisterous chants, "U-S-A! U-S-A!"

President Trump announced that the Obamacare penalties have been eliminated for Americans who choose not to enroll in the bloated and wasteful federal program. Again, Democrats in the chamber were stoic and silent.

Mr. Trump announced that the United States is now to world's top producer of oil and natural gas and that we are now a net exporter of energy for the first time in 65 years. Once again, despite shouts and cheers, Democrats were dismissive and silent.

As if prepared to take part in some bizarre pagan ritual, the newly-elected Democrat Congresswomen were dressed in white, as was their priestess, House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi. Perhaps the demonstration, was staged to identify them as her chattel. They took their cues from the speaker who pretended to be reading some papers in an effort to distract from the president's momentous speech. It didn't work.

From articles and social media posts, Democrats' childish and openly hostile antics were as revealing and compelling to the American people, while the president's great accomplishments and anecdotes inspired moments of celebration. One of these occurred when President Trump introduced I.C.E. Special Agent, Elvin Hernandez, who rescued 300 women and girls from sex-trafficking rings.

An overwhelming majority of spectators stood to honor Hernandez with applause and cheers. Two notable exceptions were freshman New York Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and New York Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand. Both Democrat women defiantly remained seated and unmoved.

When the president mentioned that an unprecedented number of women now serve in Congress, the white-garmented Democrats rose to cheer and congratulate themselves, but when President Trump called on Congress to pass legislation that would ban the killing of full-term babies, all were once again defiant and dour. Senate Minority Leader and New York Senator, Chuck Schumer appeared to shrink in his seat by the public exposure of his party's heartless and savage infanticide policies.

Masterfully, the president made the case for funding the border wall while exposing the hypocrisy of leftist opposition. He pointed out that the mansions owned by Congressional Democrats are all protected by walls. At this, they looked like naughty children caught in a lie.

The effect of this exposure was especially apparent on the faces of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders, when President Trump declared, "America will never be a socialist country." Applause, chants, and cheers echoed throughout the chamber and the nation demonstrating the fact that Democrats are deaf to the persistent cries of the people they profess to represent.

Democrats have made themselves a stench in the public's nostrils, not only in Washington, but also in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Embattled Democrat Governor, Ralph Northam, has been joined by Lt. Governor, Justin Fairfax and Attorney General, Mark Herring as objects of scorn and fraudulence. Northam and Herring have both appeared in mocking "black-face" photos and Fairfax stands accused of a sexual assault that occurred at the 2004 Democrat National Convention. Sympathetic news networks are no longer able to bury their many scandals.

Wednesday morning following the president's speech, a CBS News poll reported a 76% approval rating of the president's speech, which refutes the ABC News poll mentioned earlier. On ABC's Good Morning America program, one indication that the SOTU speech was received favorably by viewers is the fact that it was barely acknowledged. The network preferred to focus on other important news items like the alleged "bullying" of Great Britain's Meghan Markle.

Liberalism is a fatally-flawed ideology for governing a free people because it is devoid of moral law and antithetical to human nature. Men and women who refuse to submit to the law of God will never be constrained by the laws of man.

Christians and secular conservatives should be encouraged because there has been a great sea-change in U.S. politics. Democrat-socialists, like foreign terrorists, will be defeated only by overwhelming force and relentless determination. Republicans beware. Those who stand in the way will be swept away with the rubble.
