Building a culture of life--one mind at a time

In a world teeming with immorality, we desperately need a way to guide our children down the path toward God. American Life League will show you how.

Unless you live under a rock, recent headlines have got to make you wonder what is wrong with this world of ours.

For example, there's a man in New York who allegedly "killed his pregnant ex-girlfriend and their nine-month unborn baby and then set fire to her apartment to cover up his crime." At the end of Gabriel Vega's trial, the jury rendered a series of verdicts, but not one of them was murder! It seems that convicting Vega of manslaughter, arson, and abortion was the best this jury could do, given the fact that its members clearly did not see the nine-month old baby as a human being! Hard to believe, but true.

And then there's the mainstream fashion mag Glamour that has recently done its due diligence in advancing the culture-of-death deceptions by publishing a pro-morning-after-pill article that does not explain that the pill can cause abortion during the first week of life. Reporter Calvin Freiburger explains, "Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, 'A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.' Publications like Glamour will continue to repeat the con no matter how many times pro-lifers expose it, comfortable in the knowledge that many will wrongly assume a mainstream lifestyle magazine doesn't have a political agenda."

So how do we overcome such deadly zealotry in a culture ever increasingly numbed to truth and reason?

The answer is easy: American Life League's Culture of Life Studies Program.

There is nothing like this unique program in the entire pro-life, pro-family movement. And the proof is right there in the definition of what CLSP is all about:
With our culture waging open war against marriage, the family, preborn children, and the disabled, there has never been a greater need for an educational program that teaches students the truth about the value of all human beings, the sacredness of the sacrament of marriage, and the necessity of the family as the building block of society. American Life League's Culture of Life Studies Program strives to build a culture of life by helping students to understand the value of every human being and by inspiring a new generation of young people who will defend preborn children, respect all human beings from creation to death, and speak the truth with confidence in defense of the innocent. . . .

CLSP targets children and teenagers to instill in them the values of the gospel of life at an early age. CLSP educational supplements support a traditional high school or grade school curriculum by guiding students through the same subjects from a pro-life perspective. Our supplements are versatile enough to complement any already existing curriculum in private schools, homeschools, Religious Education programs, or youth ministry.
This program has garnered the endorsement of some extraordinary people such as Cardinal Raymond Burke; Ken Davison, founder of Holy Heroes; Lisa Hendley, founder of CatholicMom.com; Bobby Schindler, Founder of Terri Schiavo Life and Hope Network; and many more.

As you can see, CLSP does not rely on political pragmatism, fads, or current social trends; it relies on the truth as contained in the natural law and the word of God.

The Culture of Life Studies Program reflects Saint John Paul II's wise words contained in Evangelium Vitae: "To be truly a people at the service of life we must propose these truths constantly and courageously from the very first proclamation of the Gospel, and thereafter in catechesis, in the various forms of preaching, in personal dialogue and in all educational activity. . . . By making the newness of the Gospel of life shine forth, we can also help everyone discover in the light of reason and of personal experience how the Christian message fully reveals what man is and the meaning of his being and existence."
