Heinrich Himmler: Hitler's willing executioner through antiquity

Prologue: Biography of Himmler
According to the Holocaust Encyclopedia, Heinrich Himmler (1900-1945) was the Reich Leader (Reichsführer) of Chief of Police of the infamous and brutal SS (Schutzstaffel) of the Nazi party from 1929 until 1945. Himmler headed an enormous ideological and bureaucratic part of the Reich (empire, domain) that essentially endowed him with immense power and authority second only to Adolf Hitler in Third Reich and the second most powerful man in Germany during World War II. Himmler was named "the greatest mass murder of all time" by the German news magazine Der Spiegel. In addition to his overall duties for the security of the Nazi Reich, Himmler was the senior Nazi official whose authority for organizing and administrating the logistical operations of the so-called Endlösung (Final Solution), the Nazi plan to murder all the Jews of Europe, as ordered by the Führer Adolf Hitler.
Himmler was born in Munich on October 7, 1900. His grandfather was a police president. His father, Gebhard, a headmaster by profession, taught at the Ludwig academic high school (Gymnasium) in Munich as a tutor to the princes of the Bavarian court. Himmler initially planned to be a farmer and in fact obtained a degree in agronomy and was a chicken farmer for a short period, however, he served and fought in World War I near the very end, and like many young German men of that period – Hitler, Goering, Streicher, Heydrich – who fought and lost World War I, Himmler suffered the additional humiliations of the restrictive policies contained in the Treaty of Versailles (1919) – an oppressive and unjust treaty according to most Germans of the time which they blamed (along with the Jews) for plunging the German economy under the Weimar Republic into hyperinflation where one needed a wheel barrel full of Reichsmarks to buy a single loaf of stale bread.
Thus, after the War Himmler, like tens of thousands of other young German men and former war veterans, were ripe to be radicalized; many of these men wandered into one of the many fascist Left wing soldier's organizations that were in abundance during this period of German history. According to William Shirer's classic history of the Nazi Reich, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, Himmler joined the Nazi Party (NSDAP) in August 1923; his Party number was 14,303. As a member of Röhm's paramilitary unit, Himmler participated as a standard-bearer in the Hitler's 1923 coup attempt against the Bavarian government called the "Beer Hall Putsch." He married Margret Boden in 1926 and had one daughter.
In 1929, Hitler appointed him head of the SS, which at that time numbered just 280 men. Here, Himmler and his SS served primarily as Hitler's personal bodyguards and also had the unenviable duties of hawking subscriptions for the Nazi party newspaper, Der Völkischer Beobachter (The Race-Nationalist Observer). An outstanding organizer, by 1933 Himmler had raised the ranks of the SS to 52,000 men. Himmler was a major plotter and planner of the so-called "Night of the Long Knives" or Rohm's Purge which took place between June 30 and July 2, 1934, where the Nazi Party leadership, on the order of Nazi Party Leader and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler, purged the leadership of the Nazi paramilitary formation, Hitler's rivals, the Sturmabteilungen (Storm Troopers; SA). As the SA became greatly weakened after the purge, Himmler's SS only grew in power exponentially.
By 1936, Himmler had so reorganized and consolidated Nazi police power in Germany to such a brilliant level that Hitler appointed him Chief of the German police in June of that year. With all structures of the Nazi police forces now in place, particularly the Gestapo (secret state police), and under his authority, Himmler's powers were effectively limitless. In his other duties, he was also charged with the security services (Sicherheitsdienst) and organization of the interim Jewish ghettos and their transformation ("emigration and evacuation") of the Jews by the millions into the concentration camps, killing centers and death camps which up to that time primarily been the incarceration for political prisoners of the state. I wrote about this episode in Nazi history in my recent essay on Himmler's chief lieutenant, Reinhard Heydrich.

Remember what I wrote many times in this series of essay on World War II – a comparative historical analysis of Hitler's Nazi National Socialism vs. Obama's Democrat Socialism; that the ubiquitous Pretext was a major Nazi tactic prior to every major event they made before and during World War II. For example, Himmler, his chief officer, Reinhard Heydrich, and their SS and Gestapo legions concocted a legendary Nazi pretext – the deceptive border episode with Poland that Hitler used to rationalize the invasion of Poland which started World War II on September 1, 1939. As the war ensued, Hitler's blitzkrieg ("lightning war") sent forth armored Waffen SS divisions under Himmler's command using the very successful Nazi war tactic of Blitzkrieg which began to compete with other Nazi forces for power in the military field, leading to Himmler's being appointed Minister of the Interior in 1943 and Chief of the Replacement Army in 1944. Thus, from the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923, to the end of the Nazi Era with the Battle of Berlin (May 1945), Himmler was one of Hitler's most dedicated and zealous men. Hitler called him "der treue Heinrich" (loyal Heinrich).
Although the exact date of when the Final Solution against the Jews was enacted is difficult to ascertain, we do know with certainty who Hitler gave the commandment to set up the logistical machinery and carry out the murder all of the Jews in Germany and in German-controlled territories – Heinrich Himmler. Why Himmler? Because he was the one man whom Hitler could trust who without question was so fanatically devoted to his Nazi Aryan Weltanschauung (worldview), and furthermore, had the outstanding organizational skills to see it through using the Nazi strategies of Gleichshaltung (bringing into line, forcing into line). Thus Himmler, with his characteristic diligence and competence executed the genocidal Final Solution against the Jews with unquestioned zeal and brutal efficiency.
This was ironic since Himmler, unlike most Nazis in high command, had no preexisting hatred of the Jews, nor was there anything in his early biography, childhood, or even in his psychological profile that was particularly anti-Semitic. Himmler was coldly clinical about the subject of the "Jewish Question" and once said regarding the Jews, "Anti-Semitism is exactly the same as delousing. Getting rid of lice is not a question of ideology, it is a matter of cleanliness. In just this same way anti-Semitism for us has not been a question of ideology but a matter of cleanliness." Therefore, Himmler in once sense was even more diabolical than Hitler, Heydrich, Streicher, Goering, Bormann, and the most genocidal Nazi leadership who all needed to feed their bloodlust hatred of the Jews. Himmler didn't need this scapegoat impetus; he simply blindly obeyed, demonstrating nearly more amorality than immorality of any other Nazi in history.
The first murders were undertaken by Himmler's SS was the so-called Einsatzgruppen by shooting. Although a bullet to the head was very effective, nearly always deadly, yet because the numbers killed were too low, more "efficient" methods had to be discovered, one that would speed up the collective murders of the Jews. However, this created a Nazi paradox – from a psychological standpoint Himmler needed to remove his SS murderers further away from the actual killing act. Why? To save his SS men from the mounting psychological trauma and neuroses of massacring men, women and children in cold blood day-after-day which his men suffered under. Therefore, the Nazi directive was issued to use other means – one interim method before the Eichmann's gas ovens were built was using poison gases (hydrocyanic acid and carbon monoxide) in both stationary and mobile gas chambers in Poland. It is estimated that around 6 million Jews were killed during the Final Solution, along with as many as another 6 million non-Jews, including 3 million Christians in Poland alone.

In early 1945, as it became inevitable that the Nazis would lose the war, Himmler made efforts to negotiate peace terms through the World Jewish Congress, much to Hitler's outrage, who at the close of the war was hiding in the Reich's Bunker under the Reichstag (Parliament) building in Berlin. In May 1945, Himmler tried to escape, but was captured by British forces and after interrogation, confessed his true identity. As a doctor was conducting a search of Himmler's person to confirm he did not possess poison, he bit down on a cyanide capsule hidden in his mouth and was dead in a few minutes. Like Hitler, Goebbels and Goering, and many others, he cowardly chose suicide as his way to exit the world rather than taking his just punishment like a man.

At a speech in Poznan on October 4, 1943, Himmler uttered the words that Joachim Fest has described as "one of the most horrifying testaments in the German language" when Himmler clearly and unmistakably declared the genocidal intent of the Nazis: to kill all the Jews in Europe: "I am talking about the evacuation of the Jews, the extermination of the Jewish people. It is one of those things that is easily said. "The Jewish people is being exterminated," Himmler said, "every Party member will tell you, perfectly clear, its' part of our plans, we're eliminating the Jews, exterminating them, a small matter."
There was never any question that the Nazis to the man understood and fully knew that their acts against the Jews and other "undesirables" amounted to genocide, yet they did it anyway and thus history judges them all guilty of War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity even if the Allied show trials called the Nuremberg Trials only judges an outrageously small number of Nazi leaders and plotters of genocide, while allowing millions of Nazis and Nazi sympathizers to go unavenged to this day. That was a major leitmotiv to my 2008 book, The Nuremberg Trials: Last Tragedy of the Holocaust.

Greta: When will Holocaust Democrats be avenged for their deeds through the Ages?
Fox News TV anchor Greta van Susteren last week expressed being "surprised" and "embarrassed" by President Obama in press conference outrageously comparing those who don't agree with him to Iranians shouting 'Death to America.' This should surprise no one who studies politics and history. It is Nazi Propaganda 101 or Saul Alinsky 101, Obama and Hillary favorite opus, Rules of Radicals (1971), the 12 rules can be summarized thusly – Demonize your enemies, and charge them with all the evil motives and hateful intentions you actually possess (e.g., Sigmund Freud's Transference and Psychological Projection).
In my Facebook posting to Greta last week I wrote: "More than Obama's treachery against the Jews and the Nation of Israel, why are you 'surprised' and 'embarrassed' Greta when a Holocaust Democrat behaves like his Nature dictates? Paraphrasing a movie quote from The Matrix (I think?) – 'We are what we are and can never be anything else outside our Nature.'
I continued writing to Fox News' Greta van Susteren, "What I'm waiting for is when will America and the world wake up and avenge every genocidal, racist, unconstitutional policy of the Holocaust Democrats worldwide? We rightly judged the murderous demagogue lawyer, Robespierre, the newspaper Propagandist, Jean-Paul Marat, and the Jacobins at the end of the French Revolution (1789-99). We judged Hitler, Himmler, Heydrich, Goering, Speer, Kaltenbrunner, and thousands of other Nazi leaders, soldiers, and even civilian Nazi sympathizers during the Nuremberg Trials (1945-49) and under Stalin's Gulag. We even rightly judged Emperor Hirohito and hundreds of Japanese officers and soldiers at the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal (1946-48). We judged the Italian murderous fascist and Hitler lapdog, Benito Mussolini (and his, ahem... girlfriend) who were justly hanged by Italian Partisans like the murderous dogs they were on 25 July 1943."

Epilogue: Heinrich Himmler vs. Hussein Obama
Like the Nazi National Socialists, Obama Democrat Socialist are obsessively against civilian gun ownership. What Himmler decreed over 80 years ago could have just as easily been said by any Holocaust Democrat in Congress today, "Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA – ordinary citizens don't need guns, as their having guns doesn't serve the State."
The Nazis and Holocaust Democrats were also both fanatically devoted to the racialist pseudo-science of Eugenics, Evolution Atheism and Social Darwinism. Himmler said, "We have only one task, to stand firm and carry on the racial struggle without mercy" and that "We know that these clashes with Asia and Jewry are necessary for evolution." Echoing Himmler and Hitler's penchant duplicity and Doublespeak regarding his love of evolution or any fascist policy that oppress and deconstructs the Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions in America, Obama once said, "I believe in evolution, scientific inquiry, and global warming; I believe in free speech, whether politically correct or politically incorrect, and I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs -including my own- on nonbelievers."
These statements come from a truly deranged mind since each statement ipso facto contradicts the subsequent state. The last statement by Obama 7 years into his presidency – "I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs -including my own- on nonbelievers," is particularly mendacious especially since Obama devoted used the fascist power of government to grievously oppress Christians, conservatives, Blacks, Israel-loving Jews, and Tea Party Americans every day of his regime.
The Nazis did not invent evil neither were they particularly original in their historical grotesqueries of the Third Reich. Evil men have always existed from antiquity and Heinrich Himmler was Hitler's devoted and in the words of writer Daniel Goldhagen's book "Hitler's Willing Executioner," and like President Barack Obama and the Holocaust Democrat Party, was only happy to follow Hitler's bloodlust orders without question, without conscience, without reliance on any moral code. When Himmler admits that, "The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. It is Nazi Propaganda 101 or Saul Alinsky 101, Obama and Hillary favorite opus, Rules of Radicals (1971), the 12 rules can be summarized thusly – Demonize your enemies, and charge them with all the evil motives and hateful intentions you actually possess (e.g., Sigmund Freud's Transference and Psychological Projection).
In my Facebook posting to Greta last week I wrote: "More than Obama's treachery against the Jews and the Nation of Israel, why are you 'surprised' and 'embarrassed' Greta when a Holocaust Democrat behaves like his Nature dictates? Paraphrasing a movie quote from The Matrix (I think?) – 'We are what we are and can never be anything else outside our Nature.'
I continued writing to Fox News' Greta van Susteren, "What I'm waiting for is when will America and the world wake up and avenge every genocidal, racist, unconstitutional policy of the Holocaust Democrats worldwide? We rightly judged the murderous demagogue lawyer, Robespierre, the newspaper Propagandist, Jean-Paul Marat, and the Jacobins at the end of the French Revolution (1789-99). We judged Hitler, Himmler, Heydrich, Goering, Speer, Kaltenbrunner, and thousands of other Nazi leaders, soldiers, and even civilian Nazi sympathizers during the Nuremberg Trials (1945-49) and under Stalin's Gulag. We even rightly judged Emperor Hirohito and hundreds of Japanese officers and soldiers at the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal (1946-48). We judged the Italian murderous fascist and Hitler lapdog, Benito Mussolini (and his, ahem... girlfriend) who were justly hanged by Italian Partisans like the murderous dogs they were on 25 July 1943."
"My question to you Facebook Friends and to America is quite simple and profound... When will President Barack Obama and the Holocaust Democrat Party be rightly avenged for the Evolution Atheism and Socialism Slavery they have unleashed upon the world since the publication of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species (1859) and Karl Marx's evil opus, The Communist Manifesto (1848)?"
"ANSWER: Don't wait on the Cowardly Conservatives in Congress like Speaker of the [Cocktail] House John Boehner and the Kentucky Quisling Senator Mitch McConnell to do anything. The Conservative Revolution has got to be organic and derivative of We the People to deconstruct every 'hair and feather' of Socialism Slavery forever!"
Epilogue: Heinrich Himmler vs. Hussein Obama
Like the Nazi National Socialists, Obama Democrat Socialist are obsessively against civilian gun ownership. What Himmler decreed over 80 years ago could have just as easily been said by any Holocaust Democrat in Congress today, "Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA – ordinary citizens don't need guns, as their having guns doesn't serve the State."
The Nazis and Holocaust Democrats were also both fanatically devoted to the racialist pseudo-science of Eugenics, Evolution Atheism and Social Darwinism. Himmler said, "We have only one task, to stand firm and carry on the racial struggle without mercy" and that "We know that these clashes with Asia and Jewry are necessary for evolution." Echoing Himmler and Hitler's penchant duplicity and Doublespeak regarding his love of evolution or any fascist policy that oppress and deconstructs the Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions in America, Obama once said, "I believe in evolution, scientific inquiry, and global warming; I believe in free speech, whether politically correct or politically incorrect, and I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs -including my own- on nonbelievers."
These statements come from a truly deranged mind since each statement ipso facto contradicts the subsequent state. The last statement by Obama 7 years into his presidency – "I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs -including my own- on nonbelievers," is particularly mendacious especially since Obama devoted used the fascist power of government to grievously oppress Christians, conservatives, Blacks, Israel-loving Jews, and Tea Party Americans every day of his regime.
The Nazis did not invent evil neither were they particularly original in their historical grotesqueries of the Third Reich. Evil men have always existed from antiquity and Heinrich Himmler was Hitler's devoted and in the words of writer Daniel Goldhagen's book "Hitler's Willing Executioner," and like President Barack Obama and the Holocaust Democrat Party, was only happy to follow Hitler's bloodlust orders without question, without conscience, without reliance on any moral code. When Himmler admits that, "The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. But, we don't ask for their love: only for their fear," this Weltanschauung (worldview) isn't original... it is derivative of the subtitle to my new two-volume books, The Progressive Revolution – Vol. III-2010-11 Writings; Vol. IV- 2012-13 Writings... "History of Liberal Fascism through the Ages."
