Obama is an appeasing 'useful idiot' to Islam & America's enemies (Part 1)

Why is Mr. Obama bending over backwards (and forwards in the case of his meeting King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia) to appease our nation's enemies? He seems particularly fixated on appeasement to those that hate us the most and wish to see us as a people and a nation destroyed! Rather than representing the United States as a strong and committed defender of freedom and liberty, he occupies his time figuring out how to apologize for our "arrogance" as a nation. Mr. Obama needs a history lesson.
During his campaign, he said repeatedly he would sit down and have talks with the likes of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro without preconditions. Everyone, including his now Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told him you cannot engage in talks with certain nations without preconditions. Specifically, those nations that regularly violate the God-given rights of its citizenry, and support and export violence and hatred to other nations. Yet, Mr. Obama thinks he knows what is best. He does not seek or listen to good counsel in these matters and I believe it is because Mr. Obama has his own personal agenda that will be the downfall of not only the United States, but Israel as well.
Upon taking office, Mr. Obama's first phone call was not to anyone of his political party. Nor was it to any of America's allies. No, Mr. Obama's first official phone call as President of the United States was to the President of Iran! Soon to follow, his first television interview was not given to an American news organization, but to Al Jezeera! Mr. Obama likes to think there is common ground on which all peoples can agree on, but this is not reality. How can the United States find common ground with a regime that denies the Jewish Holocaust? How can there be common ground with a regime that has made it their very public commitment to see the total destruction of the Jewish state of Israel? How can we as a nation find common ground with radicals that blow up U.S. Naval vessels in port and buildings where U.S. Marines are sleeping? Where is the common ground between America and a totalitarian government that often calls the United States the great Satan? How can there be "mutual respect" between our nation and theirs? I really do think Mr. Obama is drunk on the punch. Only an egocentric madman could honestly believe negations and appeasement will bring about peace in the face of such realities.
Mr. Obama returned to England a bust of Winston Churchill, a gift to a former U.S. President; a very strange thing to do and a direct slap in the face to our strongest European ally. What was his motivation for doing this? Is it because every time he looked at it, it reminded him that appeasement with Adolf Hitler did not work? As intelligent as Mr. Obama is, he is allowing himself to be a useful idiot in the name of appeasement. Men much more intelligent, and with far more experience than he have failed at appeasing a nations enemies and avoiding war. What Mr. Obama seems to forget, or ignore, is that there is a diametrically opposing mindset between the west and Islam. The differences between the two will never be overcome because Islam is a religion of submission, oppression, hate, and murder. Things that are the polar opposite of what we as a free people believe and hold dear.
I cannot believe that Mr. Obama is unaware of these diametrically opposing world views because his father was a Muslim. And, according to Muslim law and tradition, every child of a Muslim man is born a Muslim himself. Mr. Obama attended a Muslim school in Indonesia. He may deny all he wants that he is a Muslim and give lip service professing to be a Christian, but I am not fooled by this. Islam teaches its followers to lie to unbelievers to attain their goals. Is Mr. Obama lying to us about being a Christian? The more he panders to the Muslims, the more convinced I am that he too is a Muslim, or, if not a Muslim, then one that is more sympathetic to Muslims than Christians or Jews.
Mr. Obama ordered the closing of Guantanamo Bay without having at the time an exit strategy for the prisoners being held there. This was strictly a political move to appease those on the left and his Muslim friends. Closing Guantanamo Bay serves no purpose for the U.S. and even undermines our ability to defend ourselves.
In March Mr. Obama sends a video-taped message to the people of Iran telling them he wants a relationship built on "mutual respect." He sent his "very best wishes to all who are celebrating Nowruz around the world." Did I miss the video-taped message he sent to Jews around the world for Passover?
Mr. Obama sent 900 million dollars in aid to the Palestinian refugees, but nothing to Israel. Mr. Obama's pick for chairman of the National Intelligence Council is Chas W. Freeman Jr. Mr. Freeman was U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 1989–1992, and is known for his anti-Semitic views. In a speech he delivered to the Washington Institute of Foreign Affairs in 2007, he blamed international terrorist's acts on Israel. Freeman is also a strong advocate of talking with Hamas, and that support of Israel is not a U.S. interest.
On March 9, 2009, in a story titled "America Moves Towards Abandonment of Israel," IsraelNationalNews.com reported that "The Obama Administration is no friend to Israel, Jews in America, and is no friend to freedom in America." The report goes on to say that, "just by his appointments, we can see him filling positions of power with people who are anti-Semitic, who want to see Israel essentially dissolved as a nation, if not by diplomacy, then certainly by war." This information was given to Douglas J. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network (NIN), which is comprised of veteran licensed professional investigators, analysts, military affairs specialists and researchers. Hagmann would not name his source, but said he is a "former highly-placed U.S. intelligence official" who has "broken silence" to make this information known. Hagmann's source continued, "I have every reason to believe, based on what I've seen at my level of [security] clearance especially over the last several years, that Israel will soon be completely on their own...or worse." The report goes on to say that a complete reversal of policy in the U.S. government toward Israel will coincide with more and more aid being given to Arab nations militarily, financially, and politically.
On April 8, 2009, the U.S. State Department was forced to defend the Obama Administration's decision to rejoin the United Nations Human Rights Council. The move was met with criticism from Jewish groups and conservative American leaders, who called for maintaining the Bush-era boycott of what is seen as a biased, anti-Israel body. State Department Spokesman Gordon Duguid said in a press conference that the U.S. will be "going into the Human Rights Council...with no illusions about its past practice, and no illusions about some of the flaws that were there. But our intent is to work to improve the council and to work to help that council improve the status of human rights around the world."
Rep. IIeana Ros-Lehtinen, House Foreign Affairs Committee member, said that the Human Rights Council "passed five separate resolutions condemning Israel and another calling for restrictions on free speech. Yet, it ignored real human rights abuses in Iran, Syria, Sudan, Cuba and other dictatorships." She said it was "yet another appalling display of anti-freedom, antidemocratic, anti-Israel bias." She said the best leverage the U.S. had for changing the council was by maintaining the Bush policy of not joining the council.
Mr. Obama is quietly soliciting Muslims for positions within his administration. J. Saleh Williams is the program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association. She said in an interview that so far, the association has sifted through more than 300 names as part of the search. "It was mostly under the radar. We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community." So far, 45 Ivy League Graduates, Fortune 500 executives and government officials have been submitted for the positions.
Representative Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) has already taken his oath of office with his hand on the Koran. The oath was administered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Rep. Ellison hopes that seeing him take his oath on the Koran will encourage other qualified Muslims to seek positions within the Obama Administration. I would like to hear the definition of "qualified" please.
Ellison is a devout Muslim. He made a pilgrimage to Mecca with the sponsorship of the Muslim American Society, a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. In 1991 Mohamed Akram wrote in a memo to the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood an explanation for its work in the United States. He said it is "a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."
Do you remember how upset the left became when it was learned that the Bush administration made an effort to hire graduates of Regent University Law School which was founded by Pat Robertson? Leftwing groups expressed concern that the U.S. was about to become a theocracy and that the "separation of church and state" was under assault. Where are those same protesters now?
Just what is Mr. Obama's Muslim agenda? What does he want to advance, and why is he working to distance the U.S. from Israel? Why is he pushing for a two-state agenda when Prime Minister Netanyahu opposes it?
Israel and the U.S. do not see things the same way either when it comes to how to deal with a nuclear Iran. As Mr. Obama continues to appease the Iranian government, which had representatives present during the North Korean missile launch, Prime Minister Netanyahu is taking a very strong defensive approach to the growing threat to his nation's security. He has said it is within the realm of possibility that Israel will have to attack and destroy the Iranian nuclear threat soon if the United States continues to do nothing. The Middle East Times reported that the Obama administration might try to stop an Israeli covert operation against the Iranian nuclear program.
The Obama administration has ordered an end to the use of the phrase "Global War on Terror," a label adopted by the Bush administration shortly after 9/11. In a memo sent from the DOD office of security to Pentagon staffers, members were told, "this administration prefers to avoid using the term 'Long War' or 'Global War on Terror.' Please use 'Overseas Contingency Operation.'" This is an attempt to downplay the seriousness of the war on terror we have been engaged in for years. It is an attempt to appease our nation's enemies by labeling overseas operations as anything but a war being fought against those that seek to destroy our nation. And Mr. Obama, being the useful idiot that he is, has again played right into the hands of our enemies. Mr. Obama is attempting to not offend his Muslim friends. Words do not win wars Mr. Obama.
In up-coming columns, I will conclude my observations of Mr. Obama's acts of appeasement toward Muslim's here in America, Muslim nations, and other nations that stand in opposition to the United States. I will discuss those things that Mr. Obama is directing which are weakening our ability to defend ourselves against future attacks, his obsession with bankrupting the U.S., and what I believe his ultimate goal is in all this.
