Warning: Without a doubt, this is the most viscerally painful article I have ever written. It describes common practices so obscenely cruel and sordid that I cringed and winced over nearly every line. So, if you are a Karen or a soy boy, move on, because you will not be able to handle this truth!
By now everyone has heard about the child care fraud in Minnesota. We have all seen film of the vacant offices and warehouses tended by nervous and bewildered Somali women. “Learing Center,” one sign maker proudly proclaimed, evidently unaware that the proper term for the odd demeanor of the women cringing in the doorway is spelled “leering.” Pick any one of these women! With a tyrannical husband in an apex patriarchy, a working vocabulary easily exceeded by that of Koko the Gorilla, and absolutely no formal education or training, she is afraid to speak and equally afraid not to. So, she shakes her head in confusion, pulls her hijab down low over her eyes, and haltingly closes the door.
But who can blame her! Her entire life is defined by a single word. Pain! Pain past, and pain anticipated. Pain from the beatings she was subjected to as a child, and from those she will endure as a wife. But most of all, pain from the primitive surgery that will steal from her the essence of what might have made her a woman. In fact, I am offering odds at 99 to 1 that that poor creature you see squinting furtively through the narrow slit in her drab muslin prison is missing all or most of her external genitalia. Why? Because, of course, white supremacists have raided the Somali communities and….
Rest assured that is not the reason! Somalia is the toxic masculinity capitol of the world. If that sounds like a commendation, it is not. In that cultural and spiritual backwater, as of 2026 an estimated 99% of all females between the ages of 15 and 49 have undergone what is euphemistically referred to as “female circumcision,” but more accurately described as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), or even as female castration. A final warning! The following description of this quasi-surgical practice is as gruesome as it is barbaric.
To achieve the status and benefits of FGM, girls from 5 up to the age of 14 years are stripped of their clothing and pinned to the floor by their mothers and aunts. While on their backs and trembling in terror, their legs are elevated and pried wide apart. Another woman, typically a grandmother, with a sharpened scrap of steel or a chard of broken glass, commences the operation. (Would I be wrong to call it vivisection?) After years of practice, the procedure is for grandma nearly as simple as the shucking of an oyster, and conveniently, it involves nothing more than that in the way of anesthesia or sanitary precautions.
For a “Type III circumcision” (infibulation or “Pharaonic circumcision”), which is the most common type in Somalia and likely in Minnesota as well, the “surgeon” grandmother first gouges out the clitoris to its root. (Is this painful? The pea sized glans alone, which is the exposed portion of the clitoris, contains more than10,000 nerve endings.) Then, oblivious to the child’s screaming, she carves away at the only slightly less sensitive inner labia (labia minora), slicing each delicate fold flush with the perimeter of the writhing child’s vulva. Finally, she severs away portions of each side of the labia majora (outer lips), in some cases sewing together what remains of the bleeding flaps so as to reduce the overall size of the vaginal opening.
The child’s capacity for ever experiencing sexual pleasure is now gone forever, but that is by no means the end of her suffering. It is not even the end of the beginning. Next, she is cauterized with a red-hot fragment of shrapnel or a discarded kitchen utensil to stop the bleeding. (For those who do not understand this curt description or are under a spell of morbid curiosity, it is only necessary to visualize the fire branding of a steer.) Because the tissue involved is so delicate and fragile, this process may need to be repeated multiple times over a period of days or even weeks, during which period the stupefied child’s legs are typically bound together to prevent her from ripping open the scar.
When a short time later this girl is married, probably at the age of 12 or 13, more likely than not that disfiguring scar will need to be reopened by incision to allow for the penetration she will endure when she is subjected to coitus. I use the phrase “subjected to” advisedly, because the whole point of her mutilation is to ensure that she can take no pleasure in the sex act. Somali men are fastidious about the purity of their women – except when gang raping infidel children in London or Minneapolis – and FGM more or less guarantees the virginity of a beaming adolescent bride. Needless to say, it also discourages adultery. On the other hand, those rare Somali girls with intact genitalia are presumed to be sluts, and as such are targeted for ravishment with almost the same ardor Somali “refugees” generally reserve for European and American girls.
Needless to say, when it comes time to deliver her own child this girl will need to be cut again. Each Somalian woman is statistically likely to bear 6.5 children before her ragged scar can finally be sealed up for good. As is to be expected, she is also likely to suffer a plague of complications during her reproductive years, including chronic bleeding, urinary tract problems, internal and external infections, menstrual difficulties, and childbirth complications, to say nothing of the mental trauma, the ordeal of repeatedly gratifying her insatiable husband in lieu of the delivery of his 72 virgins, and the enduring pain. Stockholm Syndrome understates the terror and confusion that will live forever in this girl’s captive mind.
Somalian culture is incomprehensible to people with souls. Why would Somalian men desire that their women be cut in such a way as to remove from them an essential part of their capacity for intimacy? Why would Somali women in such great numbers endorse and implement a practice that renders them little more than masturbatory appliances—sex toys for their men – with an incubator attached? My guess is that in a society that has subsisted for a thousand years on slaving and plunder, the need to retain possession of one’s captive booty supersedes the need to remain human. And perhaps in that culture being a wife, even a cut wife, is better than the alternative.
Though the “Provisional” Constitution of Somalia regards FGM as cruel and degrading and even considers it “tantamount to torture,” there is no law forbidding it. And in a population where virtually all the men and an astonishing three quarters of the women approve the procedure, it is unlikely that any such law will soon be enacted. While Western Islamophile apologists would have us believe that this barbarity is not a requirement of Islam, Somalis universally believe that it is. And the mullahs have so far not taken it upon themselves to disabuse them of this notion. But if you are in doubt, just imagine what would happen if Catholics were imposing such an abomination on their daughters! Shocking details of this depravity would lead the news cycle, possibly forever.
But it can’t happen here? Is that what you think? Dream on! In 2017 Detroit emergency room doctor Jumana Nagarwala and several co-defendants were charged with the genital mutilation of nine girls, two of whom were from Minnesota, and the others from Michigan. The doctor was being watched by authorities due to prior reports of this kind of mutilation. The “operations” took place at a medical clinic in Livonia, Michigan. As usual, the girls were instructed to tell no one. But someone leaked (no pun intended), and in November of 2018 a federal judge (no doubt an Obama appointee) dismissed the charges, ruling that the United States Government has no Constitutional authority to regulate the sexual torture of children, notwithstanding that kidnapping has been a federal crime for nearly 100 years.
An estimated 230 million living women around the world have been subjected to FGM, with an additional four to five million added to that number each year. When Sharia Law comes to your town, what do you think that will mean for your darling little girl? Ayan Hirsi Ali, born in Mogadishu, Somalia in 1969 and mutilated at the age of 5, has been warning the world in her writings and films since 2003. In 2006, she was recognized as “European of the Year.” Recognized, but sadly ignored! Western Europe is now overrun with Islamic supremacists demanding Sharia, and they are coming soon to a theater near you.
Still, who am I to judge! Maybe one day we will all be mutilating our own little girls to render them fit for marriage. I try to be woke, because at this very moment prominent Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to prevent the deportation of any Somalis, even including the most brutal and recidivist rapists. And these same Democrats seem to have no objection at all to cutting little boys to make them into girls, and little girls to make them into boys. So maybe there is no universal norm by which we have a right to condemn such a vile practice as Female Genital Mutilation, let alone demand that it be eradicated from our own country.
But then again, maybe there is such a norm. Maybe we just need to find and defend it. I would like to think so. Because here in America we love our women and girls. We see them not as property or as props for our power and entertainment, but as human persons equal in dignity and worth. We want the best for them, and we should have no place here for those who don’t.
