Adam or Obama, resist or submit?

It is said that Romans 13 tells us to submit to our government leaders, but what about when Obama places a gay activist in authority over schools teaching our kids how to try gay sex, or our taxes are used to butcher infants worldwide, or Pelosi laughs at the thought of adhering to the Constitution?

Submission. If Eve had followed Adam, she would not have led him to eat the fruit. When we take matters into our own hands, Satan gains a foothold.

But wait.

If Adam told Eve to teach their children "fisting" and gay sex with each other, should she obey? If Adam told her to lie down while the doctor scrapes out her womb and aborts her children, should she obey? If Adam told Eve her parents are a blight on society, should she send the doctor away and watch them die? And if Adam had forbid her from speaking the word of God in the garden, or to even mention His name because it was public ground, should she obey?

To think that Adam would do such things is abhorrent and illuminates the actions of President Obama as he leads our nation into darkness. Appointing thugs into positions of power, bowing and apologizing to terrorists, naming Israel's land as "illegitimate" when Israel has paid for that land many times over. There is evil churning from the Oval Office, and far too many of us stand by and do nothing because of Romans 13, but read it carefully:

1 "Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Will you then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and you shall have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil. Wherefore you must be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake."

So what did men of God do when confronted with authorities doing evil? Read the Scriptures:

18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." (Acts 4)

17 Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, "Is that you, O troubler of Israel?" And he answered, "I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father's house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the LORD and have followed the Baals. (1 Kings 18)

"Because John had said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife." (Mark 6) John the Baptist publicly scolded Herod for which he was beheaded
    .

Jesus overturned tables. He teaches us to be servants, but somehow I don't think He would approve of standing by clapping erasers while teachers pass out condoms and porn to His children. We should submit when our government submits to God, but when our government is diametrically opposed to God's laws and precepts, we must choose, are we of God or of the world? We cannot serve two masters.

Paul was not wrong, for God has given us free will in deciding which "powers" to be under the authority of. If Hitler was our ruler and ordered us to torture and murder the innocent, God would not applaud if we obeyed while quoting Romans 13.

We know right and wrong. We know light from darkness. We know evil works are pouring forth from the White House and we should be counted as against it. Or will you be a lukewarm Christian and sit on the sidelines, rebuking your brother whom dares stand and be known as His own?

'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked — I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." Revelation 3:16

Stand up, be counted, let no one criticize you because of Romans 13. Rather than Eve submitting to gay lessons ramroding her children, Pelosi needs to submit to the law of the land, the Constitution, and stop perverting it from which to slay our children.

"For he is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil." Romans 13

A man promoting abortion, gay training, death panels, claims to be Christian and can't seem to publicly admit Jesus as Lord and Savior at Christmas...let me break the news to you, this is not the minister of God that Paul is speaking of.

Far from it. America, arise and be counted. Next election, walk away from the snakes.
