"I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say 'we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage and I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about." ~ Dan Cathy, President, Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is a family-owned, family-run business which is guided by explicitly biblical business principles and even closes on Sunday in honor of what the Scriptures call "the Lord's day."

Chick-fil-A started in 1967 and has recorded 44 straight years of sales growth. It now has more than 1,600 restaurants in 39 states and Washington, D.C. and plans to open 77 stand-alone restaurants and 15 licensee locations in 2012.

President Dan Cathy, who to this point has been somewhat reticent in publicly declaring his and his company's opposition to sodomy-based marriage, is now about to experience the full wrath of the homosexual lobby.

There is plenty of hate in the debate over same-sex marriage, but it's not coming from the pro-family community, for the simple reason that disagreement is not hatred. But there is a volcanic level of vitriol and venom that spews like magma from the darkened hearts of homosexual activists. Chick-fil-A is about to find out what it is like to be Pompeii.

They're gonna need to wear their big-boy pants for a long time, because the hatemongers in the homosexual movement will now set out to wipe them off the face of the earth. They are about to go all Ahmadinejad on the Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich.

Gay activists are not interested in debate. They have a singular goal: to punish, silence, neutralize, marginalize and destroy anyone who defends the institution of natural marriage against deviant counterfeits. Hell hath no fury like a woman-who-thinks-she's-a-man scorned.

I expect the toxic bile of the gay lobby will be focused on getting Chick-fil-A franchises kicked off every college campus in the country. Licensed partners serve Chick-fil-A food at more than 225 locations, many of them college campuses.

Devotees of the infamous crime against nature managed to keep a campus-based franchise off the campus of Northeastern University in February, just by making a lot of angry, hateful noises — the spinelessness of college officials never ceases to amaze — and a petition drive was launched in January to pressure NYU to close its franchise, the only one in Manhattan.

Since the company remains privately owned, it will be insulated to some degree from the heterophobic bigots who run Big Gay. But never fear, the fangs will come out, the vitriol will run hot, and the sulfurous fire of hell itself is about to rain down on this company and its faith-based leaders.

And of course, Mr. Cathy is exactly right. We are, as Jerry Falwell observed immediately after 9/11, inviting God's judgment to fall on this land for embracing what the Scripture clearly calls an "abomination" in the eyes of the laws of nature and nature's God.

Only dark, angry, deceived and misguided hearts could look at the kind of sex homosexuals practice and call it good. And not only call it good, but seek to destroy anyone and everyone who calls it what it is: immoral, unnatural and unhealthy.

The pro-family community must stand tall and strong and unapologetically with Dan Cathy. Supporters of natural marriage must realize that if the gay Gestapo takes out Chick-fil-A, they will be next in the kill chute.

Fortunately, there is a way for defenders of the family to show their support in tangible ways: let's buy Chick-fil-A out of every last one of their chicken sandwiches. You'll like 'em, they'll just make more, Dan Cathy will thank you, and what the gay lobby intends for evil will be turned by values-driven Americans into something good. Let's make Chick-fil-A America's official chicken chain.
