"A hate crime is usually defined by state law as one that involves threats, harassment, or physical harm and is motivated by prejudice against someone's race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical or mental disability." — USLegal.com

If hate crimes involve threats or harassment motivated by prejudice against someone's religion, homosexual activists are the worst perpetrators of hate crimes in America.

Case in point: Peter Vidmar. Vidmar won two gold medals in gymnastics at the 1984 Olympics, and was chosen by the U.S. Olympic Committee to be its chef de mission at the 2012 Olympic Games.

All was fine until homosexual activists discovered that Vidmar believes in natural marriage, the institution that has been the foundation of civilization since the dawn of time. Vidmar, in the eyes of the Thought Control Police, had committed the unforgivable offense of believing that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Vidmar donated $2,000 of his own money to support Proposition 8, California's marriage amendment which elevates protection for man-woman marriage to the state constitution.

For his belief in the laws of nature and nature's God, Peter Vidmar has become the victim of a hate crime, perpetrated by homosexuals.

This criminal prejudice against Vidmar is criminal prejudice against his religious belief, the teaching of the LDS church that marriage is sacred and reserved for the union of one man and one woman.

Due to intense pressure from the thugs in the homosexual movement, Vidmar was forced to resign his position. As far as homosexual activists are concerned, his crime is no different than that of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who was forced to resign in public disgrace from his position with the IMF because he sexually assaulted a hotel maid.

Vidmar has been treated by homosexuals just as if he is a sexual predator, and his livelihood threatened. Vidmar makes his living as a motivational speaker, and has now been tagged by the Grand Inquisitors of the left as a homophobic bigot. Good luck getting speaking gigs with that on your resume.

The craven cowards at the US Olympic Committee have been intimidated by the bullies in the homosexual lobby into publicly humiliating a good and decent man who has never harmed a soul in his life.

If homosexual activists are looking for perpetrators of hate crimes, they don't have far to look. They can see one in the mirror every day.
