Gosnell: Villain or victim

"Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer" is a film that liberals in America censor, ignore, blacklist, and want people to avoid. For this reason alone, it must be seen, heard and experienced. Unlike most all of Hollywood's movies, this is not a political film. Gosnell was privately funded and produced. There is no blatant partisan agenda that saturates Hollywood films despite the divisive subject being portrayed. Instead, a well-documented illustration is presented that will impact all but the darkest and dead of human hearts.

This film is the true story of Philadelphia abortionist, Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of first degree murder in 2013 for killing several infants. After they had been born alive, Gosnell murdered them by cutting their spinal cords with scissors. He killed many others, including several of his adult female patients, through negligence and reckless experimentation.

The case against Gosnell began as a drug investigation involving the FBI, DEA and the Philadelphia police. Kermit Gosnell allowed untrained clinic assistants to administer narcotics to his patients. Federal officials were clearly less interested in the doctor's filthy and deadly abortion practice than his dispensing of controlled substances because abortion clinics are effectively off-limits to police and health department inspectors.

Gosnell is a film bloated with grotesque obscenities. Oh, not graphic photographs of hundreds of fetal corpses or over-exaggerated Hollywood special effects that have become common fare in other films. In fact, from all reports, the scope and savagery of Kermit Gosnell's career as an abortionist were intentionally minimized for the benefit of the viewing audience. No, the most dramatic images are the callous hearts of those who looked away from the horrors that were taking place within the city of brotherly love.

Unimaginable grief, sorrow and suffering have been inflicted upon innocent children and desperate, deceived women in the name of reproductive freedom – made possible by a perverse Supreme Court decision that was based upon numerous lies. For decades, these abominable acts were shrouded from private knowledge and public scrutiny. This film may change that.

Over the past forty-five years, the abortion industry has raked in billions of dollars for abortionists, Planned Parenthood and Democrat politicians, with little or no oversight from any public official or law enforcement agency. Abortion killing is by far, the leading cause of death in the United States. Other causes of death such as suicide, gun violence, cancer and heart disease do not come close to abortion.

It should come as no surprise that abortionists would violate state laws when no one is holding them accountable to any minimum standard of care. Kermit Gosnell was encouraged through financial incentives and lack of oversight to provide subhuman care to his patients. It would be foolish to believe that his filthy inner city "clinic" has not been replicated hundreds of times across the United States.

Blaming abortionists, godless liberals and socialist Democrats is easy and often reflexive. But why do Republicans who have refused to oppose or expose the abortion industry escape scrutiny? Where was the Church? Where were the Christians? More personally, where was I? Have I done enough, spoken out enough or cared enough about unborn children and their mothers? Have any of us?

If ignorance of a criminal law is no defense against its prescribed penalty, how can willful ignorance of gross inhumanity to man be excused? Can tolerance of evil ever be justified?
