Deadly lies that kill babies

Just because words are printed doesn't mean they are the truth. Beware of lies.
What is it about some headlines? You know what the words are telling the unsuspecting public, but you also know that lies are still lies.
Take this one for example: "Plunge in Teen Pregnancies Shows Way to Reduce Abortions." The article is about the falling rate in teen pregnancy – a national trend that is alleged to be happening because of the growing number of teens who are becoming aware of the effectiveness of long-acting contraceptive methods such as intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants. The problem is that IUDs and those pesky implants are methods of preventing pregnancy that act in at least one way that also results in the death of a preborn child. And while the news reports tell us that "reducing the need for an abortion is a common goal," the facts immediately call such cleverly-worded propaganda slogans into question.
A simple examination of biology will help you see why long-acting reversible contraception is not what it seems.
The human being begins at his biological beginning – that is stage 1 of the fertilization process, which itself is broken down into three stages according to the Carnegie Stages of Human Development. Once the human being begins, he travels to the wall of his mother's uterus. That trip can take somewhere between six and eight days.
It is during this time that the IUD or the contraceptive implant can do its dirty work, chemically ending the life of the child by making it impossible for him to implant into his mother's uterine wall. If that occurs, the baby is silently aborted. This is why the culture of death mavens are so excited about their new ploy, designed to deceive and destroy in one fell swoop.
Back to the biology.
The IUD's modes of action state: "IUDs produce alterations of the uterine environment in terms of a pronounced foreign body reaction." In the cases where the IUD works post-fertilization, we are talking about abortion. There is no doubt scientifically that a preborn child's life begins at Carnegie stage 1 and therefore anything that acts to in any way end that life once it has begun is abortion. Case closed.
Moving on to the contraceptive implant, we find that its mode of action can be equally as deadly. Contraceptive implants can work in several different ways, including one that changes the status of the endometrium. The endometrium is the lining of the uterus where the baby has to implant in order to continue to develop. When the endometrium is thinned, the baby is starved and dies. That is abortion.
Therefore, if an argument is made that pregnancy rates among adolescents are decreasing, and if the reason for the decline is attributed to the wider use of long-acting contraceptive methods like the IUD and/or the implant, we must be prepared to say in no uncertain terms that such statements are totally false.
The pregnancies that are not being acknowledged as existing are still pregnancies. The babies whose silent deaths are never tabulated are still babies who die because of long-acting reversible contraception. Lying about it does not change the truth of it.
