Behold the awful price of treason and mass murder

It’s time to show the communists, Muslim Jihadists, and terrorists that we can be as determined to win this global battle as they are. That is why I support the public execution of former U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan, who is scheduled to be executed by firing squad on December 3, 2026. It sends a message to the enemies within.

Unfortunately, President Trump vetoed the live streaming of this killer’s execution.

It’s taken far too long for the death penalty to be carried out. On August 23, 2013, a military court-martial found Hasan guilty on 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder for the November 5, 2009, mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas.

There is no question about his guilt. Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great") before opening fire on soldiers preparing for deployment. It was a clear act of radical Islamic terrorism.

However, following the November 5, 2009, attack that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 others at Fort Hood, Texas, the Obama administration had classified the massacre as "workplace violence." Official DoD literature at the time did not classify it as an act of international/domestic terrorism.

The Obama Administration sought to downplay Hasan's Islamist motives to excuse the systemic screening failures within the U.S. military that permitted Hasan to join and function as “an Army psychiatrist.”

The limp-wristed Archbishop Paul S. Coakley condemned plans to publicly livestream the firing squad execution of Nidal Hasan. Then, the limp-wristed Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who oversees the Catholic Church’s pastoral services to Catholics in the U.S. military, is calling on “any Catholics assigned to the firing squad to request to be excused from this action contrary to the teaching of the Church.”

However, the Catholic Church historically has supported the death penalty.

As noted by Cardinal Avery Dulles in the April 2001 issue of First Things, “Turning to Christian tradition, we may note that the Fathers and Doctors of the Church are virtually unanimous in their support for capital punishment, even though some of them such as St. Ambrose exhort members of the clergy not to pronounce capital sentences or serve as executioners.”

He noted that St. Augustine wrote in The City of God:

“The same divine law which forbids the killing of a human being allows certain exceptions, as when God authorizes killing by a general law or when He gives an explicit commission to an individual for a limited time. Since the agent of authority is but a sword in the hand, and is not responsible for the killing, it is in no way contrary to the commandment, ‘Thou shalt not kill’ to wage war at God’s bidding, or for the representatives of the State’s authority to put criminals to death, according to law or the rule of rational justice.”

Article 2267 of the Catholic catechism, an authoritative compendium of church teaching, had said the church “does not exclude recourse to the death penalty, if this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives” against criminals. That was eliminated by liberal popes, starting with Francis and now Leo.

Our Constitution supports capital punishment. The 1879 ruling, Wilkerson v. Utah, 1879, found that death by firing squad was constitutional and not cruel or unusual. It was a unanimous decision.

Let’s look at what the Muslims and Mexican drug cartels do without due process.

  • The Islamic State (ISIS) conducted mass public beheadings of captives, aid workers, journalists, and local civilians.

  • The jihadist group Boko Haram, operating in Nigeria and the Lake Chad basin, uses decapitation against village elders, military prisoners, and religious minorities to enforce compliance.

  • Mexican drug cartels use beheadings and public body displays to terrorize rival organizations, law enforcement, and local communities.

Let’s look at some history.

  • During the Cambodian genocide (1975–1979), Pol Pot’s communist regime systematically executed over a million people, using decapitation as one method, to save ammunition. Severed heads were sometimes displayed publicly or tied to trees and posts near villages and killing fields as a tool of terror to intimidate local populations. One survivor said, “At the camp, everyone was required to attend public executions; anyone who the Khmer Rouge deemed an offender was beheaded and the severed heads were tied together by their hair and stacked to form an archway over the entrance as a warning.”

  • During the French Revolution): Between 1793 and 1794, the Jacobins used the guillotine to execute thousands of political dissidents, royalty, and moderate revolutionaries. The Jacobin movement exists today and is based in New York City. Its publication has featured the guillotine. They support New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

  • Many Indigenous American tribes practiced scalping. An honest rendition of American history shows that Indians hostile to the revolution raided white settlements, murdering men, women, and children. The barbaric practice of scalping was so common by the Indians that some forts had people who specialized in treating scalped heads. One of the scalping treatments was called “pegging.”

That sacred document the Declaration of Independence, says:

“He [King George III] has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction, of all ages, sexes and conditions.”

Let’s don’t apologize for dispensing justice to America’s enemies. They use terror. We should proudly call our response justice.
