Host Casey Whalen with Mike Ingersoll
In today’s video, Benewah County (Idaho) resident Mike Ingersoll—also known as “Cowboy”—shares a disturbing account of what he says was a wrongful arrest carried out by the Benewah County Sheriff’s Office.
Ingersoll says deputies showed up at his home in October 2019 and arrested him for serious felony charges, including impersonating an officer, kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a firearm—despite what he claims was clear evidence he was not involved in the alleged incident. His wife Mary also recounts the events, describing the shock of watching her husband taken away and the stress the ordeal has caused their family ever since.
The story raises major questions about investigative procedure, accountability, and whether internal protections may have played a role in how the case unfolded.
