Spike Lee and Kaepernick NFL race baiting shakedown is phony and fake
By Kevin Fobbs
When it comes to making movies Spike Lee may have an idea of how to reach an audience and entertain them, but when it comes to NFL hiring quarterbacks, he should seriously take a pass. Yet, according to Breitbart, the movie maker is trying to guilt trip the NFL into hiring quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who refused to stand for the National Anthem.
In what world would an NFL owner ever believe that listening to a second-rate filmmaker who would not even qualify for carrying the towels for a professional football team think he can demand that the NFL take his threatened shakedown seriously?
Yet, the little mouse that roared throughout the film industry in the 1980's and 1990's is trying to reclaim his previous notoriety by taking own the demise of Kaepernick's career, because of the former San Francisco 49ers QB's decision to take a knee against America last season. Sure, it was his right to do so, and it is an owner's right to send him and any other protester player to the showers permanently.
Lee seems to believe that this is a NFL wide conspiracy against this black quarterback because he wanted to bring attention to racial inequality and police brutality. Yet this same quarterback who gave $1 million to the racially biased race baiter organization "Black Lives Matter" could not indulge himself to stand up for the young kids who are being murdered in the streets of Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit and other cesspools of black on black violence.
What's the matter Spike, is the deaths of young black children who shot dead on city streets and hit by bullets while sitting on their steps or snuffed out while riding in cars too real or too complicated for you or Kaepernick. Both of you are as phony as your claim to care about violence and inequality.
Sure, there is inequality in America and it can be found on nearly any urban street or in nearly any urban school in the nation. It can be found in cities that have been run for decades by black mayors, city councils and city leaders that have robbed black children and black families of their selfhood by lying, cheating, and stealing their futures from them.
But, you see, that is too much like opening a terrible sore that has been leaking out the puss of a harsh reality that blacks in control of the plantation system for white democrat and liberal leaders are the true perpetrators of racial inequality.
So spare America and especially black people the tears and the fake anguish that you, Spike and your out-of-work QB Kaepernick are trying to stir up. Fox Sports 1's commentator Jason Whitlock had it right when on Tuesday he stated on Fox News Channel's "Tucker Carlson Tonight, "The Colin Kaepernick saga is beginning to look like a "shakedown" of NFL owners, reported Breitbart. He added, "This is moving into a land and area that I don't think we've ever seen in sports – this invasion of progressive ideology and the progressive movement into the National Football League and sports."
He reminded the viewers that this false narrative of racism is similar to what Race Baiter-in-Chief Al Sharpton attempted to pull on New Yorkers and the nation when he and Tawana Brawley falsely accused a group of white men in 1987 of raping her in New York. It was a lie, and Sharpton never apologized for his lie filled accusations.
Now, 30 years later, Spike has taken up the very dubious race baiting banner and has his sights set on unlocking the owner's money chest in an effort to give Kaepernick a home. Here's an idea, Spike, since you care so much about this out of a job Black brother, you take your millions of movie royalties and pay his salary for the next year.
Perhaps that might shut up all the others like you who want to "Do the Right Thing."
