Abortion clinics closing at a record pace: Prolife War is winning!

While the Republican Party is fighting out the outcome of the presidential nomination process culminating in Cleveland, Ohio in July, the fight to end abortion is making progress. According to Bloomberg, abortion clinics all over America are closing at a record pace.

The news actually gets much, much better. Since 2011, at least 162 abortion providers have had to stop offering abortions or have simply shut their doors. Contrast that with only 21 new abortion mills opening up for this very dreadful murderous business. The heavy lifting to counter the Planned Parenthood cartel and its supporters has been accomplished by state republican legislators.

The American Christian Civil Rights Movement has heralded this positive movement toward protecting life and with its yearlong national campaign to make the unborn 'Person of the Year' in 2016, the reality becomes even more real. Just imagine what these dramatic abortion clinics closing represent. It means for hundreds of thousands of unborn babies, their mothers and fathers will have an opportunity to consider their life instead of caving into an easy access to a procedure that causes their death.

Even more important, is that in the 35 states where there has been a reduction in abortion clinics, they were collectively providing these services to over 30 million women. Instead, with the closing of these clinics which represents more than two clinics a month, the message of life as a viable alternative is reaching these mothers in big cities, and small towns. The difference is being felt and Planned Parenthood is feeling the political pro-life heat.

Texas stands heads and shoulders above all of the other states in the nation in closing down abortion clinics. This action was accomplished largely due to state regulations enacted in 2013, which allowed the Lone Star state to shutter 30 clinics. Iowa closed 14 and Michigan closed 13 clinics.

The pro-abortion cartel is definitely not taking this battle over saving the life of the unborn sitting down. The U.S. Supreme Court is currently hearing the Texas abortion case and may render a decision in June. Planned Parenthood and its national political arm is raising millions of dollars to spearhead a campaign to insure democrats keep the White House as well as take back the senate and the house.

Yet with all of the millions of pro-abortion dollars being raised to catapult Hillary Clinton or some other democrat into the White House, should she be indicted, the real lasting fight should be focused at the local level. Republicans hold a commanding lead in state legislatures held by the GOP as well as having a lock on 31 governorships.

It is at the state level that thwarting abortion forces can and will be realized. Take a page from the Texas pro-life legislative playbook. Their strategy has been to move away from blocking abortion factories to initiating legislative action to curtail abortion activity. The regulations zero in on the doctors and facilities be mandating all abortion doctors have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals.

In addition, abortion clinics now have to conform to state guidelines that maintain their facilities become hospital-like outpatient surgical centers. This requirement is to insure that both the mother as well as the unborn child are not being subjected to unsafe medical practices that would endanger both. The detractors of the regulations suggest that the goal of the regulations is to make it nearly impossible for abortionists to practice their trade. Well, sounds like a win for pro-life, right?

While the pro-life war is not over to insure and protect the unborn, Planned Parenthood has taken a major hit. A third of the clinics that closed were operated by them. Pro-life is winning and 2016 should be a launch pad for even greater progress to unify the nation around the right for the unborn to life. Remember, Silence is Betrayal!
