Black History Month should increase demands for Obama impeachment now

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke eloquently and forcefully about an America where black people were forced to endure a shameful condition. Well, black people can look no further than the White House to find a man who has been perpetrating a fraud and a shameful condition against black Americans for five years.

Most every black family and most likely every young black child who lived anywhere in America had to be celebrating the day that Barack Obama took the oath of office as the first person of color to occupy the White House as president. Now a half decade later, those same black families and same black adults and teens have seen their incomes, life savings and job opportunities spiraling downward like an avalanche.

Five years into the Barack Obama's presidency, the number of African-Americans participating in the labor force has hit rock bottom and now threatens to even go through the basement floor, according to the U.S. Labor Department. Consider the direness of the situation. In January, exactly a year after Obama began his second term of office, "the drop in labor force participation was sharpest for African Americans, who saw a decline of 0.3 percentage points to 60.2 percent, the lowest rate since December of 1977," according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Those are statistics which would have sent Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and legions of NAACP marchers heading for Washington to demonstrate against the occupant of the White House. Instead, these same certified hypocritical black leaders of the Afro-American community have given Obama a "Stay out of Impeachment Hall Pass."

This is more than frightening when one considers that each and every black pastor that prays over the body of a young black teen that was caught in the cross-fire of black-on-black crime should now be speaking out about Obama. Where is the hue and cry this month of black celebration from these men and women of the cloth, who know that these kids and their families need jobs and opportunities and not bullets and funerals?

But, yet the halls of worship are as silent as the ideas that are emanating from the Oval Office for remedying the problems that weigh as anchors around the necks of dispossessed black families in America.

The negative conditions that continue to follow many black families like a for boding shadow of despair are alarming. "Black poverty has increased and black families are seeing "72.3 percent of black children being born to unmarried mothers. Black males comprise 40 percent of the federal and local jail cells but are only 6 percent of the population," reports Real Clear Politics.

Just think about this for a moment. What good is Black History Month, when the man who blacks have given near perfect mindless allegiance to in terms of the vote has set the clock back further than any Jim Crow legislation could have done during post-slavery and pre-civil rights days?

Sure there will be challenges to this notion that blacks should be the ones who question this narcissistic leader who would rather be known for how well he follows the words of socialism, than the teaching of the bible and God. Obama is not as dumb as some have portrayed his inactive reality challenged mind to be.

The president believes that he holds the ace card in his deck of how to obliterate the U.S. Constitution and the American Dream. He seems to feel that black people will howl in protest and give up their last meal to make certain this president does not get tossed out of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, even if he has torched their dreams, aspirations and future.

So, in actuality this is a clarion call for black people to wake up and embrace the truth which has been staring you and your family's future square in the face. Just after slavery ended, there was this phrase that was made famous in the movie 'Miss Jane Pittman." "Is he the one?" This was met to show that each new born black person might just be the one to help bring freedom and equality to black people in America.

Well, here's a news flash, Obama is not the one. He was never the one. He is never going to be the one. And if anything, look into your children's eyes, and into your wife or husband's eyes and into your mirror. You are the one. They are the one.

You were and are the one to bring about your own dramatic end to what has been a shameful condition under this monstrosity of a presidency.

Black people you have to ask yourself one question. Are you better off before the pretender-in-chief took office or since he took the helm of government?

Remember the poverty rate for blacks is now 25.8 percent and the "black labor force participation rate which increased between the 1980's and 1990's has declined 61.4 percent under Obama," according to the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR). It gets even worse for black high school drop outs, where unemployment has reached a mind boggling 95 percent reports CEPR.

So, again, ask yourself this question, are you going to take the bull by the horns and begin actions in your church, in your community and in your homes to hold Obama accountable?

Black history month has been about celebration of achievements and it has been about action. So take action and demand Obama's impeachment now so that you and your family will have a chance to recoup and recapture the American Dream that Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and so many others fought and even died for.
