Will you give up America's gun rights to United Nations Arms Treaty
By Kevin Fobbs
Tick, tock, on the clock, Tick Tock, on America's freedom clock winds down and your time to protect your family and your Second Amendment Constitutional Right to bear arms, may be running out.
If the United Nations new Arms Treaty goes into effect, Americans all over the nation may soon after adoption of the treaty, be subjected to United Nations jackboot thug enforcers coming into your community and even into your home to strip away by force your guns, your rifles, and most importantly, your family's constitutional protection!
Where is the alarm and constitutional defense from the Obama administration? Is this acceptance by silence just one more indication that giving up on our nation's sovereignty is par for the course for the White House's abandonment of our constitutional rights? More importantly can Americans truly trust a president who has abandoned Arizona's sovereign constitutional rights to protect its citizens and its borders from illegal aliens, really protect American's gun owning citizens?
How is this happening under American's radar?
Not that difficult to understand. While summer vacations and recreational opportunities are being pursued across the nation, the United Nations is working feverously to construct an Arms Treaty that would in effect disarm America's Second Amendment rights through possible future amendments. What a rude awakening for the nation this would be in the near future to have the citizens' gun rights served up on a Christmas platter.
This draft document is nearing completion and it is being largely influenced by such rogue nations as Iran, and Syria; not allies or supporters of America's interests. America's second amendment rights can be effectively nullified even though the language in the Arms Treaty draft states, "amendments are only legally binding on a country if 'accepted' according to leading arms officials close to the talks.
What this effectively means for American gun owners is, at a later date amendments can be added, which inhibit targeted American gun owner right. In fact, in a published account, the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities' U.S. executive secretary insists that an amendment to the arms treaty can modify American gun right protection possibly, by just a simple quorum of member states, as small as 10 countries.
Are Americans willing to witness the unraveling of its citizens' Second Amendment rights by a United Nation's mandate to go on a fishing expedition into every community and home in this sovereign nation, because of the United Nation's agenda to disarm America by international fiat!
Tick Tock, tick tock, America's freedom clock is counting down the moments when a possible United Nations' attempt to neuter the nation's gun rights becomes international law.
The U.S. Senate holds the key, and even though there have been at least 58 U.S. senators who have affirmed that they will reject the arms treaty if American civilian firearms are included, President Obama can circumvent the will of the U.S. senate and the nation, if he agrees to it and there is no ratification vote taken up in the democratic controlled senate.
There you have it. Weeks after Americans celebrate the birth of the U.S. Constitution, the United Nations waits in the shadows ready to unravel the very essence of its strength. You cannot wait for the next shoe to drop before the nation's sovereignty is declared "null and void" under international law.
Demand a ratification rejection vote in the U.S. Senate by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) Nevada. The nation's sovereignty is at stake and so are its citizens. Just ask the folks in Arizona how they feel about losing a part of their right to protect their sovereignty and their citizens. Look your children, spouse or loved one in the eyes this evening and ask yourself if they are not worth standing up for. Tick tock, tick tock...
