November 2nd protect unborn life's civil rights
By Kevin Fobbs
This July, when Michigan and America celebrated its birth and wherever Americans were, most embraced much of the love, faith, devotion, courage, as well as guiding principles of the nation's founding fathers. These principles allowed the nation to endure over these 234 years. That freedom America celebrated was also the biblical stewardship given Americans, to protect the gift of life.
The taking of unborn life was buried in the passage of the 1,000 plus page Obamacare health bill. Permission for the taking of an unborn life, hidden in the bill, came to light in Pennsylvania and New Mexico as both states moved to create the new mandatory high-risk pool mandated by the law.
The July 14th Edition of National Review reported the details of this deliberate act of political deception, despite the executive order signed by Obama, guaranteeing no public money would be used for abortions. Eventually, New Mexico legislators backed down and eliminated the abortion coverage.
Were the Obamacare enthusiasts lying about the inclusion of the abortion procedure usage in the bill, or were they, as psychologist Dorothy Rowe would say, simply being "economical with the truth?" Was that so difficult for the legislators in New Mexico to turn down the misuse of public dollars in the killing of unborn gifts from God? It should not be.
Well, now in Michigan, as across America, a battle to protect life exists. In Michigan the lines are clearly drawn between Ann Arbor Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder and Lansing Democrat candidate Virg Bernero. Quite simply, Snyder is pro-life and Bernero is pro-ending life.
This year is an election year for life. On Nov. 2nd, Michigan and America must send a clear life message, and support gubernatorial candidates, legislative, congressional and U.S. senatorial candidates who stand for life. Take the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings about freedom, faith, and protecting life in emails, conversations and on internet social networks.
Do not let this crucial opportunity to protect the civil rights of the unborn be an afterthought or explained away or be treated as a thrown away vote. On election day give freedom to unborn life. So help us God!
