In the blistering chaotic aftermath of Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, the internecine turmoil roiling the Democrat Party has been quite the spectacle. Average Americans are not surprised by Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, but everyone is surprised some of the Democrat Media Complex is actually admitting it and even scrutinizing the Biden administration for hiding it. Even more stunning is the usually in-lockstep Democrat Party is breaking ranks with growing numbers of celebrities, donors, and elected officials calling on Biden to step down.
Biden is (or at least Jill and Hunter are) steadfast that he’s NOT stepping down, but the speculation on who will replace him and when has gone viral. It remains to be seen how panicked Democrats sort this out, but they are apoplectic that the media focus is on Biden’s inability to continue and the discordant disarray in the Democrat Party. Democrats know they have a problem with Biden, but their bigger problem is they cannot withstand the continuous public scrutiny that is steadily exposing Biden’s incapacitation, his failed record, and the shameless duplicity of the Democrat Media Complex for lying to the American people about all of it! Under the microscope, Democrats lose!
While Democrats are at each other’s throats, most still realize they must get the spotlight back on the orange bogeyman as soon as possible. They know Biden or Harris cannot win on their own, so their sole strategy is to scare Americans that Trump is so bad that as MSNBC’s Joy Reid put it “voting for Biden in a coma is still better than Trump.”
Since Biden’s cognitive decline is inescapable, the first hilarious attempt to deflect from Biden’s dementia is to accuse Trump of the same. Biden can barely do one event a day or string two sentences together, but a few Democrats, like Pelosi and Schiff, comically claim Trump has dementia too when Trump runs circles around Biden with a grueling schedule and can give lengthy interviews without a teleprompter.
With accusing Trump of having dementia not working, the main and really only argument Democrats have is that Trump lied about everything. They admit Biden had a bad night, has lost a step or two, and may have some problems, but Biden tells the truth and will protect democracy from the ginger tyrant. They insist Biden may have stumbled (but truthfully) while Trump just lied. Democrats contend that Trump has NO redeeming qualities or worthy ideas, so he must be conning his supporters.
As usual, there is no substance to Democrat allegations. Republicans also claim Biden lied, but they offer examples. Biden asserted he inherited 9% inflation, which he didn’t. He also awkwardly tried to recycle the now roundly debunked lies that Trump called veterans “suckers and losers,” or that he called white supremacists “fine people” during the Charlottesville demonstrations, or that he told people to inject themselves with bleach. All demonstrable lies Biden told AGAIN during the debate – they're evidence of Biden’s dishonesty.
On the other hand, Democrats simply scream Trump lied about everything during the debate, but Democrats offer NO examples. While Republicans provide specifics, no where are Democrats citing any actual lies, just a mendacious broad brush. Let’s examine the debate script for any blatant lies. Trump cited many problems. Democrats can subjectively disagree with his descriptions, but objectively the problems he named indeed exist.
Trump harped on Biden’s open border. Democrats can dispute the definition of “open” but they cannot deny record numbers of millions of illegal immigrants under Biden. He said other nations are emptying their asylums and prisons and sending them to America; Venezuela admitted as much. He stated illegal immigrants are getting Social Security which will bankrupt it. That particular statement can be viewed as inaccurate. There is no clear evidence that any illegal immigrants are receiving Social Security, but non-citizens are eligible for Supplemental Security Income, and many are being provided with food, housing, and medical care. That may not be specifically Social Security or MEDICAID, but all those programs are largely funded from the general fund. So, any diversion of funds to care for illegal immigrants will decrease available funds for Americans. Democrats can assert Trump lied specifically, but the problem he addressed indeed exists.
Democrats can quibble about Trump’s characterization of his economic success and Biden’s economic failures, but Americans know they thrived under Trump and suffered under Biden. Trump described Biden’s catastrophic retreat from Afghanistan as America’s greatest embarrassment. Democrats can dispute the description, but the 13 American lives lost and ensuing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are still fact. Democrats can accuse Trump of exaggeration or hyperbole, but those are disagreements on semantics, not lies.
Again, Democrats provide no substance just baseless accusations that Trump lied, but Americans know what they experienced under each administration. Democrats are realizing maligning Trump’s character is not working, so now they are maligning voters with cynical memes like “we know Trump’s character, so what about the character of his supporters?”
Contrary to Democrats insistence, Trump has not conned anyone, but he has simply offered clear eyed reality and viable solutions – Americans are listening. In fact, Trump is the only politician sacrificing his wealth and risking his liberty to serve the American people and save the country.
Biden has conned the people about his health and mental capacity, and he also conned Americans about being a moderate. He has governed as a left-wing radical. However, Biden was abetted by the Democrat Media Complex who conned the people by hiding his severe cognitive limitations and lying about his manifest graft and myriad failures. There are plenty of con men in Washington, but Trump has proven he is not one of them.
“While evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13).
