After promising to unite the nation in his inaugural address, Joe Biden summoned the country for a primetime speech last week so he could double down on his abject failure to unify the electorate and just lie about it again. Fully meaning to aggravate, insult, and provoke conservatives, and really the vast majority of Republicans and independents, Biden’s contradictory speech was just plain pathetic. Hyper-partisan as expected, the speech was so rife with demagoguery it rivaled Pravda’s best propaganda, but it did not resonate with the American people.
Except in the minds of the most partisan Democrats, the speech fell flat. Average Americans just rolled their eyes at how detached Biden was from reality and how disconnected Democrat messaging is from the people. The speech was designed to draw ire from Republicans, support from Democrats, and sympathy from independents, but it evoked little more than pity from most viewers for the token president.
Biden and his leftist handlers know better – but they repeatedly insist on erroneously describing the United States as only a “democracy”! It is NOT!!! The United States is a Constitutional Republic. That means we democratically elect representatives to govern us only with our consent. A democracy, per se, was rejected by our founders because it amounts to "mob rule": it’s too easy for the majority to oppress the minority. Leftists in America are not the majority, but with the complicity of a corrupt media and Big Tech, they work persistently to create the illusion they are indeed the majority and can rightfully use the power of “democracy” to quash any opposition.
That was the sole goal of Biden’s “battle for the soul of the nation” speech. It was a gross abuse of primetime TV for purely partisan purposes. Biden had no designs on uniting the nation, but rather he demonized half the country to provoke them into anger that Democrats could further mischaracterize as a threat of domestic terror. He was trying to resuscitate the floundering January 6 Commission nonsense. And he was hoping to reinvigorate his flagging Democrat base for the midterm elections because they are weary of making excuses for his endless failures and ubiquitous gaffes.
Biden and the Democrats can’t let go of the January 6 lie; it’s all they have – Biden’s record is abysmal. He warned that the greatest threat to our “democracy” is those who resort to violence when they lose politically – and he specifically singled out “MAGA” Republicans. While there was some vandalism and violence by a tiny fraction of hoodlums on January 6, that single episode was totally eclipsed by months of burning, looting, rioting, and even murder by ANTIFA and BLM that began May 26, 2020, and escalated throughout the U.S. Democrats not only excused that violence, they condoned it and even endorsed it. Americans are not fooled. They have been watching the shocking double standards for years. It has become tiresome.
Biden’s ridiculous speech was the height of hypocrisy. He castigated half the country for their sincere concerns about election integrity at a time when the government has done absolutely nothing to allay their fears and continues to shame anyone with a genuine grievance. Biden cast the 2020 election controversy as an evil anomaly and completely ignored the fact Democrats have rejected the election of every Republican president in this century as illegitimate. In the “hanging chad” debacle of 2000, Democrats insisted the Supreme Court illegally selected George W. Bush president and they never relented even when he was reelected in 2004.
Don’t forget: Democrats NEVER accepted Donald Trump as a legitimately elected president. Completely obsessed with rejecting Trump, they hobbled his administration for over two years with the fabricated "Russian collusion." They impeached him twice over literally nothing and are still trying to indict him. So, who doesn’t accept the will of the people and respect our elections?!
Incredibly, Biden accused Republicans of being anger-filled “semi-fascists,” and having no regard for the Constitution. It’s Democrats who want to pack the Supreme Court when they lose or add Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia as states to upset the balance of the Senate. In an unprecedented expansion of government power, Democrats are weaponizing the FBI, DHS, DOJ, and IRS to persecute their political opponents, who include the middle class.
Republicans routinely fly the American flag from their porches. They love this country – but Biden accuses Republicans of hating the USA. That’s so absurd on its face, it’s difficult to take Biden seriously. But Biden and the Democrats refuse to listen to the people who are unhappy and worried about his failed administration. The Dems just spew more venom at whoever disagrees with them. Listen to the hateful rhetoric of Biden’s rant: who is full of anger?
We have to assume that Democrats may profess to love America but they don’t love the Constitutional Republic our founders established. They want to change it and, if possible, replace the Constitution. Democrats long for an America where the federal government holds all the power so they can install the socialist utopia they desire. They cannot accept that we Americans disagree with their vision without alleging that we must therefore hate the country.
Biden and his leftist handlers went to Independence Hall in Philadelphia and supposedly tried to drench it in red, white, and blue lighting to evoke patriotism, but only the red lighting was visible and the speech came across as an ominous warning to anyone who dissents because it was exactly that. The simple fact is Democrats just don’t understand us "average Americans" and our traditional values, so they are compelled to admonish us for our genuine beliefs because we are an obstacle to their socialist vision for our country. Bear in mind it’s not just “MAGA” Republicans who are a threat, but most Americans – because most Americans appreciate our Constitutional Republic.
Biden was indeed battling for the soul of America, but he wants to sell out that soul to socialism. If you disagree with his goal and methods, he called you a domestic terrorist in his speech and threatened you with the awesome power of the federal government. We have never been closer to watching our “government of the people, by the people, and for the people" perish from the earth.
“Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression, to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!” (Isaiah 10:1-2).
