With a complicit, fawning media, leftists foist an awful lot of absolutely absurd notions on Americans. They chant climate change mantras for decades, swearing the polar ice caps are melting and coastal cities will drown They can’t find any evidence of that, so they submit nonsense like claiming the recent Florida condo collapse was caused by climate change. Despite the demonstrable efficacy and efficiency of fossil fuels, they want to deprive average Americans of the economic freedom that comes with cheap energy. They insist boys can be girls and vice versa, so with some unknown number of genders, choosing which restroom to use becomes a contentious conundrum. But no Americans want to live in crime infested communities. So what are Democrats after with this completely crazy crusade to defund the police?

ANTIFA/BLM riots were already making many blue cities unsafe, but after the George Floyd incident, the ludicrous “defund the police” juggernaut hurtled across the nation with disastrous results. Blue cities were burned and looted almost nightly and crime spiked 30-60%. Stores closed, police retreated, and communities were endangered, particularly poor minority neighborhoods. The crime wave continues unabated because leftists not only defunded the police; they demonized law enforcement. With record retirements and low recruitment, police forces are hemorrhaging officers. Police morale has never been lower.

The incredible irony is that leftists are destroying our cities ostensibly to defend minorities, but it’s minorities bearing the brunt of their misplaced self-righteous rage. Despite overwhelming majorities of black Americans supporting increased policing, leftists still insist we must dismantle police forces to attain urban peace. Obviously unpopular and untenable, what is their real objective?

Out-of-control crime is certainly a third-world hallmark, but totalitarian regimes also maintain their power and oppress their people through national police forces. Leftists loathe local police who are responsive to the communities they serve, and they especially hate county sheriffs who uphold the constitutional rights of their citizens. Leftists fantasize about a national police force centrally directed to impose their progressive tyranny over the objections of the people. The federal government is already distinctly disconnected from the American public, so imagine how useful a far removed national police would be in forcing Americans to accept socialism and totalitarian edicts like mandatory vaccinations.

The problem for panicked Democrats is they are running out of time. Eventually, blue and red voters will clamor for law and order; and many are already demanding action. Democrats were hoping that by discrediting local police, they would open the door to federalizing police like their attempt to federalize elections. However, with slim stolen majorities in November, they failed to consolidate power in Washington before cities and states started fighting back.

The crime epidemic has become such an albatross for Democrats that they and their pals in the press even comically tried to blame Republicans for defunding the police. Americans are not fools, so they rapidly saw through that ridiculous ruse. It backfired. Democrats were further weakened as their deranged declarations were exposed.

Democrats are losing the race to establish the third-world tyranny they covet. Oddly enough, the backlash against their positively insane policies will come from blue voters. Red voters are disgusted by leftists' relentless assaults on the police, but it is blue voters who are forced to live in the hell Democrats created. Citizens in blue cities are fed up and will hold the insane leftists to account. Largely-Hispanic McAllen, Texas, just elected their first Republican mayor in decades. A staunchly pro-police Democrat just won the Democrat primary for mayor in New York City to face the pro-police founder of the Guardian Angels, Republican Curtis Sliwa.

It may not yet be apparent in the Democrat Media Complex echo chamber, but the tide is turning. Americans are about as angry as ever, and they know without a doubt that Democrats created the current chaos plaguing our country. If all the election integrity laws stand, Democrats will suffer huge municipal and state losses across the land. This will give Americans breathing room until the 2022 elections when Democrats will lose the Congress. But the real optimism comes from realizing our Constitution is resilient and the people still have the ultimate power. Use your votes before you lose them!
