Ohio Catholic University fights Obamacare
By Kevin Fobbs
The metro Cleveland area as well as the state of Ohio will be the linchpin in the 2012 presidential election and Obama Care may well be the key to the dismantling of President Obama's re-election hopes. This week, Catholic University in the city of Steubenville helped to put one more nail in the Obama election machine when it rejected implementation of Obamacare. Michael Hernon, who is VP of Advancement at the University, suggested that President Obama's health care program amounted to a "moral and economic injustice, when he appeared on Fox News' Fox and Friends show this week.
There is a moral and a principled battle of legendary proportions occurring in Ohio and in many other states as well. Here is the dilemma: whether or not moral principles can be trampled under the uncaring heels of the federal government mandates from the Obama administration that require any school to use their health care plan to provide sterilization, contraceptives or other pregnancy prevention drugs to students.
Outright Rejection
Well, Ohioans do not see this as a choice that should be accepted and Obama Care was soundly rejected by voters. The fact that it is an infringement upon states rights, and gives thinly guised permission to abortion advocacy and practice is unconscionable. Thankfully, public leaders like current democrat U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown who continues to maintain that Obamacare is a good deal for Ohio residents will be shown the door in November.
Stand For Principle
This year, voters in Ohio and the nation have an opportunity to vote against this invasion of liberal bombardment of idiocracy. This is the year and this is the time to stand with educational leaders like those at the Franciscan University in Steubenville and continue to organize and protest and vote against the implementation of programs that undermine America's religious beliefs and first amendment rights. This year and this presidency shall be rejected at the polls because it is at its core, economically unsound and principally unjust!
