A screeching catfight has broken out in the non-normative sexuality crowd.
For years, the homosexual posse has consisted of the LGBTs – lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders. Well, it looks like those days are over. The LGBs want to kick the Ts out of the club.
Of course this is blatant discrimination, it is bigotry, it is an appalling level of transphobia. That is, it would be if we were doing it. But since the LGBs are the guilty ones here, especially the Gs, they of course will get a pass from the low-information media.
An online petition, "Drop the T," calls on Big Gay groups like HRC, GLAAD, and Lambda Legal to separate themselves from the transgender community. It's garnered over a thousand signatures already.
In two particularly telling portions, the petition sounds like it could have been lifted from one of my columns. The first:
"The infringement of the rights of individuals, particularly women, to perform normal everyday activities in traditional safe spaces based on sex; this is most pernicious in the case of men claiming to be transgender demanding access to bathrooms, locker rooms, women's shelters and other such spaces reserved for women."
Can anybody say Houston? These gays are more incensed than we are over sexually confused men who invade the privacy of spaces set aside for the fairer sex.
Here's the second telling portion:
"Most troubling, by persuading parents and health professionals to diagnose children as young as four as transgender, despite considerable research that shows that more than 90 percent of children who express "gender dysphoria" at a young age grow out of it by adolescence and, in most cases, grow up to be well-adjusted gay men and women..."
This pointed paragraph, except for the "well-adjusted gay men and women" part, has the added quality of being exactly right. It clearly implies that parents who yield to the impulse to aid and abet their children's sexual confusion are guilty of child abuse, which also happens to be true.
In a scathing editorial, out, loud and proud homosexual Milo Yiannopolous makes it clear that, as far as he is concerned, the further away transgenders get from him, the better he likes it.
Here is his opening paragraph:
"Someone has to say this, and it may as well be me. It's time to eject transgender people – specifically, the screeching, bullying, authoritarian trans rights lobby – out of the gay club, at least until they learn how to behave properly to the rest of us."
Yikes. This from someone who fancies himself the very paragon of tolerance! And it gets even worse after that:
"I'm sorry to say, and this does matter, very often those playing the trans card in the media, whether personally transgender or not, are very often the most awful people on the planet: hectoring, nannying control freaks without an ounce of joy in their hearts."
(Snip)
"By contrast, trans activists seem obsessed with policing and controlling others. They are humourless, divisive, hateful, god-awful bores who have inherited the very worst from their intersectional third-wave feminist antecedents and who seem more interested in laying down the law about pronouns than anyone's health or welfare. Frankly, I've had enough of them."
Double yikes. It is no mystery to me that things have come to this pass. After all, the premise of the entire gay rights movement is that homosexuality is innate and unchangeable. People are born this way, and sexual orientation is therefore immutable and can't be altered.
Then here comes the transgender crowd, with the exact opposite message. Their platform is that sexual orientation is so fluid it can switch polarity completely. I used to a guy, but now I'm a girl. It was only a matter of time before this fundamental incompatibility between the two groups reached critical mass and erupted into open schism.
The truth is that homosexual activists are not tolerant in the least. They will attack even people in their own movement to get what they want. They are the biggest bullies and bigots on the block, and will threaten and intimidate anyone who gets in their way. The pro-family community has known this for years. Now transgenders know it. It won't be long before everybody else does too.
