The bullies at Big Gay come after Chick-fil-A -- here's how to fight back

The folks at Chick-fil-A didn't ask for this war, but war has come to them.
The bullies at Big Gay have targeted the "Eat Mor Chikin" chain because its president, Dan Cathy, has taken an unapologetic public stand on behalf of natural marriage, and rebuked this generation for its "arrogance" in thinking that it knows better than God when it comes to the definition of marriage.
And so the heterophobic bigots at Big Gay have come unhinged and unleashed the dogs of war. They've even drafted the Muppets, of all things, as infantry in the effort to wipe Chick-fil-A off the map. The Muppets will no longer allow themselves to be sold as toys in Chick-fil-A kids' meals. Sticking a thumb in the eye of the families you want to buy your products doesn't sound like a shrewd business move to me, but if the Muppets want to shoot themselves in the kneecap, who am I to argue?
Big Gay has also enlisted the anti-diversity, anti-inclusive mayor of the Boston, who has made a NIMBY vow that Chick-fil-A will never be allowed in his city on his watch. In the name of tolerance, you see, he is denying Chick-fil-A its God-given rights under the First Amendment to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom of association.
But the norma-phobic haters at Big Gay have never let a little thing like the Constitution stand in their way. After all, if the president doesn't, why should they?
The bullies at Big Gay got another notch in their belt by shutting down a bed and breakfast in Canada whose Christian owners chose not to do business with a homosexual couple on the grounds of Christian principle. The owners were pummeled by the cultural thugs on the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, forced to pay a fine of $4,500, and forced out of business altogether.
(As a side note to all this, astronaut Sally Ride, who was married to a male astronaut for a time, was outed as a lesbian in her own obituary. She is proof that sexual preference is a fluid thing, and that people are not in fact "born that way.")
There isn't much we can for this Canadian couple who have been deprived of their livelihood by the gay Gestapo, but we can do something for Chick-fil-A. Mike Huckabee is calling for all people of good faith to show their support in the most tangible way: by eating at Chick-fil-A on August 1.
It's a terrific idea. Supporters of natural marriage don't have to wave a banner or a sign, or shout a slogan or anything of the sort. All they have to do is take their family and friends out, grab a Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich with a side of waffle potato fries and wash it all down with some Chick-fil-A lemonade.
Let's make it our goal to buy out every chicken sandwich Chick-fil-A makes on August 1. Trust me, you'll love 'em, they'll just make more, and the nation will get a message about how many Americans support natural marriage. Let's make August 1 the biggest single day in Chick-fil-A history.
By the way, Big Gay isn't going to take this lying down. Or maybe they are. They are planning a giant "National Same Sex Kiss Day" at Chick-fil-A outlets two days later. And they want photos and videos of homosexuals making out in this family restaurant "for all the world to see." Well, maybe some pro-family folks just might oblige them, by taking pictures and videos with their cell phones and plastering them everywhere so all the nation can see just how offensive their behavior can be.
All of this illustrates a singular truth: America must choose between homosexuality and liberty because we cannot have both. Here's hoping America chooses wisely.
