No more Muslims in the military: Al Qaeda says so
By Bryan Fischer
Though I was widely pilloried last fall for calling for the prohibition of Muslims in the U.S. military, evidence continues to mount that my call represented sober wisdom ahead of its time.
Now Al Qaeda's official spokesman Adam Gadahn — born in the good ol' U.S. of A., I might add — is, according to Fox News, "call(ing) on Muslims serving in the U.S. armed forces to emulate the Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood."
As you may recall, the Pentagon produced an 86 page report of Maj. Hasan's terrorist rampage, and managed to get through it without using the words "Islam," "Muslim," "terrorist" or "jihad" even one single solitary time. The report didn't even mention Hasan's name.
So Al Qaeda is now on record urging every Muslim member of the United States military to go jihadi on his fellow soldiers, calling Maj. Nidal Hasan a "pioneer," a "trail-blazer" and the "ideal role-model" for every Muslim serving "in the armies of the unbelievers."
"Nidal Hasan...has opened a door, lit a path and shown the way forward for every Muslim who finds himself among the unbelievers," says this devout American follower of Allah.
Gadahn goes on to say his message is for "repentant Muslim(s)," by which he apparently means that a Muslim has committed a grievous sin by signing up to serve the military of the infidels in the first place, and that the best way to demonstrate his repentance and atone for his sin is by blowing up as many American soldiers as he can as he makes plans to meet up with his 72 virgins.
Many prominent imams in Europe, by the way, are now saying exactly the same thing I am on the subject of Muslim military service, and are openly calling for Muslims to refuse to serve in the armies of the infidels. Who knew that one day, on a matter of utmost importance to our national security, I would find myself in harmonious agreement with top Islamic clerics?
Gadahn's riff is contained in a 25-minute video posted on militant Web sites, so you no longer have to take my word for it, or even the word of Allah through his Messenger Mohammed. "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them" — including those who serve alongside you in the United States Armed Forces — is now no longer just a direct quote from the Holy Book of Islam, it is the official policy of Al Qaeda.
The five Muslims who were questioned about an apparent plot to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson, the largest basic training center in the world, were just being good Muslims and doing what their god had ordered them to do. Although military officials have apparently ended their investigation into that particular conspiracy, they also quietly discharged all five of the would-be jihadis and confiscated their computers. All of which, of course, makes the objective observer think that there is more to that story than the Army is willing to admit.
Gadahn converted to Islam at a mosque in Orange County, of all places, which once again raises questions about the wisdom of allowing Muslims to immigrate to the United States. Are we importing the seeds of our own destruction and then growing them to evil maturity on our own soil?
Gadahn added, "I am calling on every honest and vigilant Muslim in the countries of the Zionist-Crusader alliance in general and America, Britain and Israel in particular to prepare to play his due role in responding to and repelling the aggression of the enemies of Islam."
Ah, so apparently the only Muslims we have to worry about are the "honest and vigilant" ones. The dishonest and indifferent Muslims, well, they're okay. So: how do we tell the difference? And what will prevent the sleepy Muslims from awakening from their spiritual stupor and being overcome with Sudden Jihad Syndrome?
There is nothing in the Constitution or in our immigration policy that compels us to admit sworn enemies of the U.S. into our country, and the more devout a Muslim becomes, the more of a threat to our national security he becomes. It's nuts even to take the chance.
Unless and until we can find some way to guarantee that Muslim immigrants will never, ever under any circumstances take their religion, their god, their prophet, and their Holy Book seriously, perhaps it's best for our national security interests to encourage them to keep living right where they are.
